At least this meant that the person who was observing him was a disciple. He could also confirm that it wasn’t Yun Feiyan as she was in mid-stage of Spirit Origin.

He went back to his cave abode and found that elder Gao was standing outside and his senior sister was with her. He landed near them.

"How was your day?" Gao Ling asked with a smile.

Lin Feng smiled back, "A little busy but it was alright... what happened?" He could see that Xie Ruyue didn’t seem much thrilled. It must be what they were talking about.

"Sigh... I just wanted her to take a mission to gather grade 6 beast cores of Crimson Vein Serpent and she didn’t find it appealing..." Gao Ling sighed.

Lin Feng nodded in understanding. There was an urgent need for these beast cores now that Yin Yang Harmony Sect had decided to speed up the preparations.

They would definitely like to have an extra hand to complete some missions. His senior sister was now in Void Tribulation Realm and she definitely could complete a grade 6 mission easily and more efficiently.

War on a sect level usually involved disciples more than elders and top figures as they were mostly for deterrence. Although it might be different for this war where one side had the advantage of having more higher-realm cultivators.

Gao Ling looked towards Xie Ruyue, "It’s not like I am asking you to do it for small rewards. You can have any grade seven treasure for a hundred beast cores you collect along with a generous amount of spirit stones..."

Xie Ruyue frowned. She was a little tempted listening to that. She didn’t like declining elder Gao when the rewards she was offering were generous enough but this matter also involved her junior brother.

In the end these beast cores would be used against his sect. She subtly looked towards him.

Xie Ruyue sighed inwardly after getting approval from her junior brother, "Fine. I will go tomorrow..."

Gao Ling nodded with a small smile, "Good... I will take my leave"

Once Gao Ling went away Lin Feng smiled, "It’s better to be a little involved in the matters of the sect senior sister..."

Xie Ruyue nodded, "Let’s go inside"

Lin Feng nodded and they went inside. After going inside they didn’t talk much and went to dual cultivate.

Lin Feng instead of going towards the spirit field went to the inner sect first. He wanted to meet Hou Meiling and Fu Zhen today. He didn’t know when he would find the best chance to steal the Eternal Dao Lotus but if such a chance came then he wouldn’t hesitate.

So it was better to make sure that Huo Meiling was at least safe from it. When he came to the mountain he saw his own old cave abode. He wondered if it was occupied or not, Although he doubted that anyone that worthy would have come.

He landed in front of Hou Meiling’s cave abode and was relieved that she hadn’t activated the protective array or he wouldn’t have been able to knock on it.

After knocking he took a few steps back. After two breaths the entrance opened and Fu Zhen appeared outside. When he saw Lin Hao he was shocked and surprised.
