"It’s not like that. I have just come here to check my spirit herbs’ growth." She had already had some herbs planted here.

Lin Feng nodded, "Your name and faction?"

"Qin Yueli, Seduction Faction..."

Lin Feng looked through and found her name. There were a total of five spirit herbs under her name, all were mid-stage of grade 6.

"Alright. Let’s go and see them senior sister Qin." Lin Feng put the register down and stood up. He couldn’t let anyone inside the spirit field unattended.

Qin Yueli nodded, "When did you take over this spirit field junior brother..." She acted as if she didn’t know his name.

"My name is Lin Feng. I came here just a few days ago..." Lin Feng spoke calmly with a small smile.

"Lin Feng? You mean the alchemy genius of the sect..." Qin Yueli showed a surprised expression.

Lin Feng nodded with a small smile but he frowned inwardly. Her expression might show that she was genuinely surprised but Lin Feng felt that she was deceiving him.

He had a very good sense to know when someone was being genuine or just trying to fake it. This meant that this woman knew about him and she was just acting to not know it. He didn’t expose her and decided to play along.

Now he had quite a good feeling that the person who was observing him was her or maybe she was somehow related to it.

"Junior brother Lin I was really quite shocked seeing a Soul Sea Realm cultivator being part of the core sect but since it’s you it explains everything..." Qin Yueli spoke with a little excited tone, "Junior brother did you always know about your alchemy talents or did you find out about it in this sect?"

Lin Feng was a little surprised hearing that. He hadn’t expected this kind of question, "I just felt more comfortable in controlling my flames senior sister so I just gave it a go one day and found that I am really quite good at alchemy."

He wondered if she was really here to just understand how he was so talented at alchemy. Kind of hard to believe.

"I see. How lucky. Others can’t even comprehend how to control flames effectively yet you were talented enough to understand it without doing anything..." Qin Yueli spoke while shaking her head.

Lin Feng sensed as if she really was jealous of his ability. Well talented people did exist. The heavens were never truly partial.

While walking they came to the grade 6 section of the spirit field. The first three spirit herbs which they had come to inspect were present at the start so they stopped and Qin Yueli began inspecting them.

All these spirit herbs weren’t something which Lin Feng found rare but the rarity of spirit herbs depended on the individual too. They might need them for following their specific cultivation technique, specifically body cultivation. Although he doubted Qin Yueli had cultivated her body till grade 6.

"I think they are fine but they might breakthrough anytime so it seems I have to visit them every day. It seems I have to disturb you daily junior brother Lin. I hope you don’t mind," Qin Yueli stood up and started walking towards the location where spirit herbs which could be grown in water were present.

Lin Feng shook his head internally. That was quite weak reasoning for coming here daily. These spirit herbs would still take a week to have the minor breakthrough she was talking about and even if this spirit herb broke through it wouldn’t be a problem if they stayed in the field for a longer time. It would actually be better.

Was she trying to hint that she was interested in just coming here to try to entice him or just thought that he wouldn’t doubt her deception?

They came to a small pond where Qin Yueli inspected her other herbs and nodded in satisfaction, "I am done junior brother. Thank you for accompanying me. I hope I didn’t waste much of your time."

Lin Feng shook his head, "It’s my task to do so. Senior sister don’t worry about wasting my time." He still maintained his clueless yet composed tone.

Qin Yueli smiled brightly looking at Lin Feng, "Then see you tomorrow junior brother Lin." She said and flew away.

Lin Feng looked at her departing figure for a while before going back. She didn’t try anything out of her way today which could have given away her real intent completely.

She definitely was here for him. Spirit herbs were just a way to achieve it. This was getting interesting. Well let’s see how long she kept her real intent hidden.

Just as he turned back to return towards his hall he felt two eyes on him. He didn’t have to look towards them to know who it was. It seemed Tang Zhi and Shen Yu were envying him.

He didn’t care about their envy and made his way towards his small hall to complete his pills.

"How did it go?" The male disciple who wasn’t Qin Yueli’s partner asked. He was the only one inside the abode.

"It’s just the start. Although he didn’t try to flirt with me which means it will be harder to entice him..." Qin Yueli spoke.

"Next time use your seduction techniques, he would definitely fall for it?" The male disciple stood up and caught her by the waist and pulled her into his arms.

"Maybe.. " Qin Yueli was feeling a little downcast due to failing in enticing any kind of reaction from Lin Feng so she wasn’t in the mood. She tried to free herself but it didn’t work and in the end she gave up and let him have his way.
