Dual Cultivation: Ying Yang is way to Chaos-Chapter 326: End of Peace
Mo Yan entered deep ecstasy and after a few minutes later , Lin Feng pierced through her, claiming another yin bead.
....
A few hours later he was cultivating in earnest and was already in the mid stage of Spirit Origin Realm.
Slowly he crossed that boundary too and reached the late stage of Spirit Origin Realm.
Finally a few hours later he reached the peak of Spirit Origin Realm and was about to break through. His body had finally refined fully and the soul core had stabilized perfectly.
All he needed was a small amount of qi and his breakthrough would begin. His soul would be entrapped in a void where nothing would exist.
If he stopped moving in there then he would be lost forever. The best way to cross a void tribulation is to pick one direction and keep moving and believe in yourself that someday you will cross it.
This tribulation tested your will and no doubt it required immense will to stick to your decision even if decades passed.
He closed his eyes and absorbed the small amount of qi he needed. There was still plenty of primordial yin qi left and it would be enough to reach the mid stage of Void Tribulation after he got his senior sisters’ yin beads.
Suddenly his perception changed and he entered the absolute nothingness. He seemed to be floating in the middle but that was definitely not true.
He could be anywhere inside this giant void. If he was close to the boundary and chose the right direction then he would leave this void in months or so but if he picked the wrong direction then he would have to walk very long, decades or so.
Well whatever. In the end he would definitely cross it. How much time he would spend was just an illusion. As long as he remembered this nothing mattered.
He took his first step in the direction he was facing and began walking in the void. It felt like walking on land but in reality he was just floating inside nothingness.
His steps’ pace remained constant and a month passed, then another...
A year later he was still walking with the same pace.
Walking this long in solitude affected everyone. They began losing reason and made decisions solely based on their needs and desires.
Most of them would want to change direction thinking that the other was definitely nearer and if they changed back then they might get out of this vast void in another year or so.
Changing direction didn’t need to stop so most of them did it but Lin Feng maintained his calm and kept walking in the same direction without a change in expression.
He wouldn’t even flinch even if a decade passed much less a year.
Another year passed and he was still walking in the same direction. His thoughts were mainly about passing through the void while he was also missing his master, aunts and his sisters.
Nonetheless these were just fleeting thoughts which he discarded without thinking too much.
Another year passed and after a few months when he thought he might really have to walk for a decade his perception changed and he felt his body in flesh.
Finally he had passed the void. He opened his eyes and an immense amount of spirit qi gathered above treasure peak.
Everyone smiled when they saw that. They were still worried even though they had faith in him.
Lin Feng observed calmly as his body and soul got refined to the next realm using the immense qi he was getting right now.
His body also started its breakthrough to Tyrant Body Stage. A realm of might in which just standing near a weaker body cultivator he could induce fear in them.
Slowly his breakthrough completed and he stopped cultivating and stood up. He could sense the presence of his master and others so he came out.
They smiled and congratulated him for his successful breakthrough.
Lin Feng bowed in acceptance.
The next few days went in silence and peace. He cultivated with his master to re-cultivate his realms while also cultivating with his aunts to increase his cultivation further.
He also crossed his second Void Tribulation and reached the mid stage using all of their primordial yin.
His interaction with the Eternal Dao Lotus increased further and whenever he even came close to it, it would sway in happiness.
He also trained Mu Yao and she was making slow but steady progress.
Two years passed just as peacefully but it seemed the peace was about to end.
....
Inside Whispering Wind Mountain range Ji Zeyuan and Wei Han were standing in front of each other.
"It’s been a while brother Ji. I hope you are doing well." Wei Han cupped his fist and bowed a little.
In strength Ji Zeyuan was far stronger than him.
Ji Zeyuan nodded. "It has indeed been a while brother Wei."
After Yin Yang Harmony Sect found that Crimson Flame Palace had secured the pill formula from them they were furious but could only blame themselves for not being able to protect the secret.
How Crimson Flame Palace got their hands on it they figured out that it was those three Spirit Origin disciples who disappeared from the sect. They were definitely spies of Crimson Flame Palace.
They were some of the disciples who went to the central region when they had gotten the pills. They didn’t know but they figured out the formula.
It seemed impossible but it had happened. In the end they could just quietly accept it. The worse part was that those bastards were able to escape the sect easily too.
Yin Yang Harmony Sect couldn’t even ask for those three as Crimson Flame Palace would never accept that they were with them.
In the end they could only bury this matter and live through it.
"Brother Wei, we both hold immense advantage over Frozen Heart Sect. Our previous agreement is already broken but we still can create a new one. So what do you say..."
Ji Zeyuan was here for one and only one thing—to initiate their initial plan and attack Frozen Heart Sect.
Wei Han smiled. "Sounds good to me brother Ji but the terms we agreed previously should be changed right..."
Now that Yin Yang Harmony Sect didn’t hold any kind of advantage over them the rewards they could reap were equal to them so how could he give in.
Ji Zeyuan understood this and nodded. "What do you want brother Wei? State your conditions or we can just divide everything in half."
Wei Han shook his head. "Northern region is closer to you than us brother Ji. So naturally you will have more influence on it.
If we ask you to give us some region from Eastern Region in compensation you won’t agree right?"
Ji Zeyuan immediately spoke. "Yes, we won’t agree on something like that. You can have half of the Northern Region and how you maintain that is your issue." 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂
Wei Han knew something like that would happen. "That’s the problem. How about this... for the whole northern region you can compensate us by giving us Lin Hao..."
This was what Wei Han and the others had decided. They knew that Lin Hao was an alchemy genius and someone they must have to maintain their image as the strongest alchemy sect.
Recently they hadn’t heard anything regarding him as if Yin Yang Harmony Sect had hidden him completely.
Ji Zeyuan’s expression changed and Wei Han went on guard.
They had totally hidden the news of what happened inside the core sect. Most of their disciples were already dead and in two years only a few new disciples had reached Spirit Origin realm which wasn’t enough.
They had to use their strength to poach cultivators from other organizations in Eastern Region. This had created dissatisfaction among the factions but it was necessary so they had to do it.
"You want Lin Hao right? We want him too. Let’s see who gets him first." Ji Zeyuan’s words were extremely cold.
Wei Han maintained his guard but he didn’t understand what Ji Zeyuan meant. "I don’t quite follow you brother Ji."
"Ask your spies about it brother Wei. They are quite competent. You will definitely understand what I meant. Anyway if you want to discuss some other kind of compensation then we can discuss it now or else leave."
Ji Zeyuan didn’t want to waste more time here. With or without him they would still attack sooner or later. They had a feeling that Frozen Heart Sect wouldn’t stay passive.
Wei Han sighed. It seemed he couldn’t get what he wanted. Nonetheless they were prepared for this outcome. "Alright let’s discuss it..."
.....
A month later information arrived at Frozen Heart Sect. It was from one of the disciples overseeing Lotus Bloom city.
They all had escaped as the whole city and now Lotus Bloom City was in the hands of Yin Yang Harmony Sect.
