In spite of the skinwalkers cunning nature, Uriel had no chance but to follow the cryptid to wherever it wanted to take him. If it decided to take him to an ambush or if it actually meant to take him to the girl's location, it was yet to be revealed. All Uriel knew was that the more time he spent inside that building, the more dangerous it became.

He had no mean to know if they sounded a silent alarm or if they were being watched right now, but he decided not to turn his back on the poor schoolgirl. Especially since the more he thought about it, the more he regretted not helping out the rookie hunters when he himself experienced the same struggles they were facing.

Not long after Uriel tailed the cryptid, the muffled sound of desperate screams reached his ears. It was intense, but because of how the hospital was built the sound was muted by the doors making it seem as though it was far away.

"You can't be here, wait for your turn." The doctor scoffed from behind the curtain as soon as he heard the door being pushed.

"Thanks for your help," Uriel spoke to the flux orb as he picked it from the ground, but then he clicked his tongue when he realized the trite was missing, probably because of the way the skinwalker burst in contact with the ancient coin. "Keep the change." He continued nonchalantly.

"When I told you to go make yourself useful, I actually meant for you to go away you worthless nurse!" The doctor shouted, unwittingly letting Uriel know he was above the skinwalkers nurse in the chain of command.

'This is interesting. He's either unaware the nurse was a skinwalkers or he's something even worse.' Uriel deduced by the tone of voice the doctor used to the, now vanquished, skinwalkers nurse. Nevertheless, Uriel figured he could still go with the flow and pretend he was just doing what he was told and if the doctor turned out to be a wendigo, he should still be able to flee using his Dash skill.

"But I'm hurt, I was told by the nurse I needed to see a doctor." Uriel said as he moved aside the curtain to show his wounded hand.

"No! Go away!" The doctor insisted, but going away became impossible as soon as Uriel saw the scene in front of him.

The girl was crying and breathing heavily, she also showed signs of having more than a few broken bones, which was to be expected after falling from such heights. But what made it impossible for Uriel to turn back, what truly angered him was the state of her clothes. It became clear that the doctor didn't just want to kill her, but also take something far more precious to that girl than her life.

"This is disgusting! I thought you monsters killed people to eat! What's the point of taking advantage from a poor girl like that?" Uriel roared in red hot anger as he wondered if his theory was mistaken.

Judging by the scene, the only conclusion Uriel was able to draw was that the hospital wasn't means to procure food for cryptids, but was actually the breeding grounds for hybrids.

"Code black! We have a code black! A hunter just came in!" The doctor screamed as he pulled up his pants. Thanks to his experience in battle, Uriel was able to capitalize that opportunity in spite of his shok and took the chance to place an electrum coin inside his mouth.

With that done, he then turned his attention to the girl without paying any heed to the gurgling sound of the doctor choking on the coin.

"Are you okay?" He asked, realizing too late how stupid his question was and he awkwardly followed. "I mean, did he get to... you know." Uriel cringed in embarrassment and then proceeded to take the gag from the girl's mouth to find out whether or not he should kill her.

As cruel as it may have seemed, Uriel knew that if there was a chance of her being pregnant then he correct thing to do was to kill her as she wouldn't survive giving birth anyway, though what followed wasn't the answer he expected.

"Behind you!" The girl shouted with surprising force and Uriel barely managed to dodge the scalpel skillfully aimed at his back.

"What the... How are you not dead!? Trites should work, they did on the other nurse." Uriel muttered, dumbfounded by the cryptid's resistance to silver.

"I'm not a cryptid, you fool! I'm a hunter just like you!" The doctor replied with a grin and began channeling his flux energy. A powerful wind current formed inside the room as the doctor's eyes shimmered in light green, his coat was lifted and his glasses fell to the floor, his short hair disheveled by the sudden gust of wind.

Uriel let him to channel his flux energy, allowing the corrupt doctor to display the full extent of his power. Not because of overconfidence, but because the revelation was too big for it to make sense and he was still wrapping his head around the fact that the enemy in front of him was actually a hunter.

Uriel wondered how could a human possibly work alongside cryptids, it would have one thing if they were hybrids or at least if he was being threatened. But Uriel didn't miss the commanding tone the doctor used when he thought he was speaking to the nurse which meant he was there willingly.

As unthinkable as humans working alongside cryptids was, Uriel couldn't deny the evidence in front of his eyes and he was filled with an intense rage. The person in front of him was an offense to all the sacrifices hunters made on a daily basis to keep people safe, it was a mortal sin Uriel couldn't possibly forgive.

"Just kill me and run for your life!" The girl cried, not wanting to drag anybody else along with her. Not even the worthless rookie that couldn't even remember her name should die a pointless death, she thought. Contrary to her expectations, though, Uriel remained in place.

It wasn't until the doctor charged with everything he had that Uriel finally snapped out of the flaming anger that kept him from lifting a Inger and he countered with his own trait. Moving while using Dash skill was already a difficult task, but against the flow of wind it felt like crashing into a concrete wall.

Nervertheless, Uriel gritted his teeth and pushed forward in spite of the pain caused by the wind slashes, then landed a powerful fist on the doctor's jaw, resulting in the corrupt doctor's face being disfigured and the unlikely victory of the rookie ranger in a single movement.

"I'm sorry for taking so long, Beth." Uriel apologized using the girl's name, though he actually didn't remember it. It just happened to read her file while Dash was active. Needless to say, Beth was too enthralled to notice.

To her, Uriel went from an absolute dork to the most handsome man to ever walk the earth in record time. He wasn't just handsome, but also exuded an imposing presence that she could have sworn wasn't there before. As if that wasn't enough, Uriel made sure to wrap her in a blanket before taking her downstairs, carrying her outside like she was the most valuable artifact in the world.

"Wait here." Uriel said before heading back inside the room gripping on his magnum revolver.

"Don't go! Please, come back!" But Uriel ignored her plea and closed the door behind him because he had an unrelated business with the doctor.

"Now tell me, why are you working with them?" He asked, but the doctor's gruesome wounds were too severe for him to reply. All that came out of what was left of his mouth was a few whistling sounds that Uriel guessed correctly were nothing but useless begs for his life. "It seems you're unable to speak. How does that feel? Did you even think of how your victims felt?"

Uriel's eyes began shimmering in cold blue as he glared at the doctor as an idea formed in his head. After the evil things the hunter in front of him did to countless people, it was only fair he faced the same fate as his victims. Uriel grabbed the crying mess that was the doctor who still didn't understand how was e defeated so easily by a seemingly weaker opponent.

Uriel then strapped him into the wheelchair, but not before breaking his four limbs one by one without a care for his suffering.

It wasn't torture what he wanted to perform, but for his plan to take place he needed the doctor to be as helpless as his victims.

"Hello? Yes, I want to report a code black. Yes, it's contained and ready for further processing." Uriel spoke to the phone and left the room before someone, or something, showed up.

Leaving the helpless man strapped into a wheelchair with a face not even his mother would be able to recognize was sure to grant him whatever treatment his victims suffered and judging by how desperately he struggled, the man was also aware of it.

"This is a fitting end for you..." Uriel turned his back on the doctor, with a faint smile a thousand times more terrifying than any cryptid could possibly muster.
