Chapter 155: Chapter 155: Sienna, Don’t Leave Me

Sienna’s lips were left a bit swollen from his kiss.

She panted lightly as she looked at him, "You can’t touch my parents; Chloe sacrificed herself to save me, and I can’t let them get involved."

Silas nodded without hesitation, "Not only will I not harm them, but I’ll treat them like my own father and mother, as long as you don’t leave me again."

Sienna bit her lip, "Don’t trouble Jett and Caden, I was the one who asked them to help me escape, it has nothing to do with them."

"If you want me to leave them alone, you can’t get too close to them anymore, or I can’t guarantee anything."

"They are my friends; you can’t take away my right to have friends."

Silas furrowed his brow slightly, "Is it not enough for Sienna to have just her brother?"

"Silas Prescott, if you treat me like you did five years ago, I don’t think there’s any point in continuing our conversation."

Seeing her get angry, Silas immediately cradled her in his arms and softly said, "Fine, you can have friends, I won’t stop you, but when you’re with them, I must be present."

Sienna was about to speak when Silas cut her off, "Sienna, this is my bottom line."

Hearing this, Sienna didn’t persist.

Silas’s obsession wasn’t something that could just vanish; it needed time.

She lowered her eyes briefly, "You can’t bully me like you used to either."

Silas released a low chuckle from his throat.

He pinched Sienna’s chin, his gaze burning as he looked at her, "I can agree to that request, but you must repay the debt you owe me from these five years. Even if it’s twenty times a month, it should be twelve hundred times over five years. Sienna, do you plan to pay it all at once or in installments?"

Angry, Sienna slapped him, "Silas Prescott, don’t push your luck!"

"I haven’t even reached the limit, where’s pushing it?"

As he said this, he spoke close to Sienna’s ear, his hot breath like a weak electric current causing Sienna’s body to tremble involuntarily.

Frightened, she quickly pushed him away, "Silas Prescott, I’m no longer the Sienna you could easily manipulate five years ago. I’ve experienced life and death now, and if you treat me like before, I’ll resist you to the end. If you don’t believe it, just watch."

Seeing the formerly soft and cute little darling become so fierce, the smile on Silas’s lips grew even more intense.

"We can discuss this, but the prerequisite is that you divorce Albie."

"I have no marital relationship with him; I did it just to avoid you, don’t make it difficult for him."

Upon hearing this, Silas felt as if a huge stone pressing against his heart was suddenly removed.

He laughed exuberantly towards the sky.

So his Sienna hadn’t married anyone.

He kissed Sienna’s lips with a smile, "Since you’re not married, does that mean I still have a place in your heart?"

Sienna glared at him, "That’s a separate issue, don’t confuse them."

Silas laughed as he picked her up from the ground, "Alright, I’ll do as you say, Sienna. Shouldn’t we start settling accounts now?"

With that, he carried Sienna towards the big bed.

Just as he was about to lay Sienna on the bed, a furry thing darted beneath his feet.

Silas’s entire body jerked violently.

The excited look in his eyes turned dark instantly upon seeing the kitten.

He immediately let go of Sienna and, like a madman, grabbed the kitten by the neck, a sinister look on his face.

"Who let you in here? If you want to die, don’t blame me for being impolite."

With that, he squeezed the kitten’s neck with force.

The kitten, in pain, struggled desperately, scratching Silas’s body all over.

Seeing this, Sienna was completely stunned.

Her mind instantly flashed back to the kitten killed by Silas five years ago.

She rushed over, grabbed his wrist, and shook her head desperately, "Silas Prescott, you can’t kill it; let go!"

Rather than releasing his grip, Silas’s hand only bulged more with muscles.

His eyes filled with bloodshot veins, his voice like a demon emerging from Hell.

"You took her love away all those years ago — and now you want to take my Sienna; are you courting death?"

With that, he picked up a pair of scissors from behind and aimed them at the kitten’s belly.

His mind flashed back to the scene when he was ten, stabbed in the heart by kidnappers.

The piercing pain, even now, felt as vivid as ever.

Because of her kitten giving birth, his own mother abandoned him, almost costing him his life at the hands of the kidnappers.

The pain he had suppressed over the years now all came rushing back.

Just as the scissors were about to pierce the kitten, Sienna’s trembling voice rang out.

"Brother, no!"

Only then did Sienna realize Silas wasn’t merely jealous, but was in a state of crisis.

She didn’t know what he’d been through, why he hated kittens so much.

Without hesitation, Sienna stood on tiptoe, kissed Silas’s lips, and softly coaxed, "Silas Prescott, let the kitten go, it’s innocent."

Hearing these words, the turbulent mood consuming Silas finally came under control.

He stared at Sienna for a long while before his throat released a low, husky sound.

"Sienna, will you leave me like she did, for the sake of a kitten?"

Sienna shook her head vigorously, "I won’t. Let go; the kitten is about to be strangled."

With her reassurance, Silas finally released the kitten.

The kitten trembled in fright, meowing incessantly.

Sienna quickly stroked its head, saying, "Go play outside, Mommy will come find you later."

Watching the kitten run away, Sienna stood up, looking at the scratches on Silas’s body, "You’ve been scratched by the kitten; let me treat you, and later I’ll take you for a shot."

Silas’s demeanor was numb, a stark contrast to the man who had just forced Sienna not to leave.

He sat silently on the sofa, watching Sienna as she treated his wounds.

Once the wounds were tended to, Silas finally returned to his senses.

He tightly embraced Sienna, his voice filled with irrepressible pain.

"Sienna, they’ve all abandoned me; don’t leave me like they did, okay?"
