Chaos looked down at the Supreme Deity of Brightness after giving away Edward without any emotion on his face, Abyss, and everyone else with him also seemed to not react negatively to it at all… It was odd indeed, the Supreme Deity of Brightness knew that Chaos was reluctant on giving up Edward, but out of nowhere he suddenly gave him up?!

"(Could this be a scheme to drive away the Spirit King so he could fight me alone?)" She wondered, as she looked down into her planet for a bit, the people seemed safe. She actually cared about them because they brought her power. They were all humans she raised for generations, thousands of years, all of them saw her as their supreme goddess, and their prayers and devotion brought her power. After all, all gods were able to grow stronger through accumulating prayers and devotion from followers.

She had grown to the power of a Supreme Goddess since she was a Great Goddess through this method, over accumulation of divinity through humans praying to her, millions of them across the planet of Aurora! But now… Chaos had attempted to kill them all. But sadly for him, she was an expert at healing magic as her attribute was Light and… Life! Due to that, Chaos was incapable of blackmailing her, but smartly managed to drive away the second Supreme God with her.

Nonetheless, even now, it seemed that things were in her advantage, she held the souls of Chaos parents and could blackmail him with them…

"What's your name?" Asked the Supreme Deity of Brightness to Chaos, as Chaos looked at her with an expressionless face.

"My name is Chaos…" He said. "And don't think that you can use their souls to blackmail me."

"Huh? Aren't you interested in your parents?" Asked the Supreme Deity of Brightness with a smirk.

"Aren't you interested in your people?" Asked C h a o s.

"Eh?"

"One hundred, die." Said Chaos, suddenly within the closest city to the Supreme Deity of Brightness, a hundred people, randomly all dropped dead on the spot, falling into the ground! Their souls… simply began to fly away, not destroyed, but for mortals, their soul leaving their bodies always meant sure death.

"W-What…?!" The Supreme Deity of Brightness asked in shock. "I-I healed them… How can this be?!" She thought desperately.

"I didn't used any sort of toxin on your people. I only used my chaos energy. It cannot be removed with mere healing magic. If you want to get it truly removed, you'll have to kill them first, as it has seeped deep into their own bodies." Said Chaos.

"No… That's… what sort of powers an aberration like you can have?!" Asked the Supreme Deity of Brightness in surprise.

"Give me the souls of my parents and I'll even revive your people. The only one I have a grudge against is you, not the innocents below…" Said Chaos.

The Supreme Deity of Brightness looked at Chaos speechlessly, after all the things he had done, he was now talking about morality? About finding innocents that he didn't wanted to hurt? Even though he just killed 100 people without any problems? The Supreme Deity of Brightness couldn't believe his words… but she didn't had many options.

Could she trust Chaos in such a deal? Would she desperately do it in hopes to save the people that give her power? at the end, within her mind, what did she thought of these people? She didn't felt anything when the gods died other than frustration that more resources were gone… she was someone completely heartless, selfish, and egocentric, in the great picture, she wouldn't care if the entire planet was gone with all its people, but they were an important resource for her growth.

"And then what?" Asked the Supreme Deity of Brightness. "Would you leave me alone? Even though the other Families will continue to chase you down?" Asked the Goddess. "After all, I am the one that did everything to your parents… Would you be willing to… forgive me?"

"…"

Chaos remained in silence as he looked at her expressionlessly.

"Yes." Said Chaos. "With the goodness of my… heart. I will forgive you." Said Chaos.

"Eh? Really?" Asked the Supreme Deity of Brightness. "…You're not lying?" She was desperate to know the truth, if she were to give him the souls, he would go away and then… everything would be alright. She might get scolded by the vampires and dragons but everything would end alright.

Wouldn't it be more beneficial for smart people to end conflicts this way than to risk everything? After all, Chaos himself showcased high levels of eloquence and intelligence, he wasn't some mindless monster nor a wild chimera like she always thought he was.

And now that he was a Supreme God, he wasn't someone she could easily trample on… she would first try to negotiate before doing any conflict, like Supreme Gods often do with one another instead of trying to kill each other desperately.

"Yes." Said Chaos.

"…"

The Supreme Deity of Brightness thought about it for another moment, and decided to give the souls to Chaos, the two bubbles flew towards him slowly, as he grasped them in silence, he checked on the bubble's memories, it was them. His parents' souls… he finally retrieved them. There was a strong seal, but he used his chaos energy and cosmic energy to break it, quickly freeing the souls of his parents, as he put them inside his divine realm so they could rest for now.

Chaos… felt happy deep down, one of his greatest goals since he started his journey… he finally acquired his family's souls, now he could revive them later, and he would be able to finally live with his family, he would be able to finally… live as he wanted to live.

But the culprit behind how they ended… she was there, staring at him.

"So? Your part of the deal?" She asked.
