Although they kidnapped her, they didn’t tie her up. At least in this room, she was free to move around.

She stood up and looked around the entire room. It was relatively clean and tidy, indicating that these people didn’t intend to mistreat her.

Her phone wasn’t on her, as it was left with her bag at the café. So, at this moment, she had no way to contact the outside world.

While Bai Yiran was observing the room for anything useful, the door opened from the outside.

She heard the sound of high heels hitting the ground and turned around to see Yao Zhiqing, as expected.

"Long time no see, Yiran!" Yao Zhiqing was holding a plastic bag with a pharmacy logo on it.

Yao Zhiqing placed the plastic bag on the table and then casually sat on the chair next to it, "Your head is still bleeding. Come here, and I’ll bandage it for you."

Yao Zhiqing’s voice was still gentle, which made Bai Yiran feel dazed when she heard it. It was as if the woman in front of her was still the kind, amiable teacher from before, not a drug dealer who had committed numerous crimes.

"What are you doing standing there? Aren’t you coming over? Doesn’t your head hurt?" Yao Zhiqing smiled, waving at Bai Yiran.

Bai Yiran walked over and sat on the chair next to Yao Zhiqing, staring at her without blinking.

Yao Zhiqing took out iodine, gauze, and medical bandages from the plastic bag.

It was clear that she was no longer her teacher, obviously had kidnapped her, and harbored sinister motives. Yet, there she was, acting like a saint, caring about whether she was in pain, if the wound would scar, whether she was hungry!

"Disgusted?" Yao Zhiqing laughed indifferently, "Not really. I’ve done much worse things, so what is this?"
