Evolving My Mythic Legion With A Legendary Skill-Chapter 52: Abandoned
Neil sat beside Ileana in front of the campfire.
The two stayed silent for a while, then Neil broke the silence:
"Ileana, I am happy to have you in this domain, but I want to know your thoughts.
Why do you... hmm seem so happy to do this? Even while taking care of me when you know nothing about me."
He asked, putting his thoughts into words.
"..." Ileana listened silently, her gaze shifting to the campfire. After a short pause, she replied:
"I don’t remember anything about my previous life, but I do have a strong feeling of being abandoned at my last moments.
It felt very unpleasant, so I feel that if I am not useful, I will be abandoned again."
After speaking, her gaze shifted to Neil, then with a beautiful smile she added:
"As for taking care of you, I just enjoy it and I feel curious about you. If you feel I am bothering you, then I will stay within my limits."
"No, that’s not my meaning." Neil sighed. Maybe all his thinking was meaningless.
Jane had hurt him, but Ileana was completely different.
She was also a subject and could never betray him.
"Really? So you don’t mind me? Thank you, lord.
I don’t know why either, but I just like tending to you and being around you, and you smell nice too."
Ileana said, tightening the coat around her, as a smile appeared on her face.
She really didn’t shy away from speaking her heart out.
"Lord, how about I give you a massage?"
Suddenly she asked, and before Neil spoke, she stood up and moved behind him.
Her hand gently landed on his shoulder.
She sat on her knees, as suddenly her softness pressed against his back.
Her warmth and scent enveloped Neil’s senses, her heavy bosom pressing down on his back.
He felt relaxed and tense at the same moment, but it felt quite nice.
"My lord, does it feel good?" she asked, her warm breath tingling his ear.
"...Yeah." Neil replied, not stopping her. In front of Ileana, he felt really relaxed and didn’t need to be on his guard.
Ileana, the druid princess, aside from healing and controlling flora, could also sense others’ emotions.
Even if their expressions said otherwise, she could see through their hearts.
And as she now looked at Neil, she felt happy. Before this, there were doubts and hate.
While massaging, she leaned in further, hugging him from behind, her arms wrapping softly around his neck.
Both of them had been injured before, and in each other’s company, they were healing.
"Lukas!!" Just then, a shout came from outside. Ileana quickly got up, surprised at letting all her emotions flow.
"I will... check other things." She said, before walking towards the healing hut with blushing cheeks and a beautiful smile.
Neil stared at her for a few moments before rising to his feet and walking towards the door.
Upon opening the door, he found Hiroshima standing there with a few other people.
And they had actually brought quite a few corpses.
"Is it really true that you are exchanging these corpses for food at a cheaper price?" one of the men asked.
They all appeared doubtful.
"Yes, just tell me what you want to buy."
Neil smiled, looking at the men and the corpses they had brought.
There were only twelve men for now, but once word spread, a lot of them would definitely come here.
The doubtful men handed their lists and the corpses.
Neil put them all in his spatial storage and headed inside, closing the door behind him.
None could see what was happening inside as they waited.
"Don’t worry, I guarantee he is not a fraud. We are all here, do you think he would be playing tricks this openly?" Hiroshima said.
...
After around ten minutes, Ray returned, and based on their requests, he handed the food items.
"W- Whoa, he is for real!! He even has liquor, haha, I am going back to hunting!!"
All of them were overjoyed. The food was so scarce that sometimes they would have to go hungry for an entire day.
"Zeke, once people start exchanging food here, we would need to protect this place from the beasts and Arlo’s gang. They definitely will try something." Hiroshima said.
Zeke nodded as they began to discuss.
Soon after all of them had gone back, while inside, Neil calculated his gains.
Thirty six bronze and thirty silver corpses.
After giving a few gene potions to Magnar, he consumed some himself and collected the shards.
[Shards: 4,080]
『
(Bronze): 720/1000
(Silver): 130/500
(Gold): 6/100
(Diamond): 2/5
(Mythic): 2/2
』
"Haa, and I am back to over four thousand. I should purchase all troops quickly." Neil mumbled. Currently, he possessed two cloud vultures, two elven archers, and one giant.
He could buy only 25 giants as he had seen from the barracks. As for the other two, he could control their ratio.
For a while, he could finally rest.

Back in the makeshift settlement, the news about a new shop quickly spread. Before long, everyone knew of the cheap prices.
Hiroshima was taking guarantee, and there were already some who had traded, so everyone became excited.
There were over 1,500 people in the settlement, and more than half of them hunted daily just to afford some food.
To check things out themselves, quite a lot of them began to hunt.
Killing 1st Origin ranked creatures was actually very easy for them. Most of them had already evolved to the 2nd Origin.
Of course, not everyone was happy with the news. Arlo and his gang were distressed.
So he sent someone to check things out, if it was true or just Hiroshima’s trick.
...
Near the end of the day, more than two hundred men had crowded outside Neil’s domain.
They were desperate to get the food, so they went to check that day itself.
Hearing the noise, Neil walked out and was a bit surprised.
’Well, that was fast.’ He was really happy to have a shop in his domain. It was such an awesome ability.
"Wait everyone, I have enough food for now to exchange with everyone. So no need to rush. Before you order something, also do check this list." After speaking, he pasted a paper against the door of his house.
Since all of them were lords, with their heightened senses they could clearly see it.
"Oh, there are other essentials too? Even clothes and such?! Let me change my list first then." Everyone became even more excited.
Neil called out Rob, Bob, Mob, Ray, and even Leon to help him out with the exchange.
The five of them quickly checked their lists and the corpses and began to carry out everything themselves.
The four thousand Neil had given to Ray were almost spent as he bought the food and then continued with the exchange.
Neil just focused on his loot. Quickly, his inventory was full of gene potions and shards.
He collected the shards and then counted the gene potions.
"Haha." Neil couldn’t help but laugh. This was already so high.
213 bronze, 174 silver, and 6 gold!!
He got a total of 25,590 shards from just that, then adding it to his previous ones: 29,670!!
Neil’s eyes widened, his lips curling up. This business was such a hit.
