After a long sleep and a night full of passion, Neil woke up with Ileana in his arms.

Magnar walked out of the core room, following Neil into the Nest.

Since returning, Magnar had been quite active, maybe because he was connected with Neil, the familiar could feel some of his emotions.

"Let’s beat it!" Neil spoke as he saw the leech in the distance.

Magnar growled, jumping away and transforming into a terrifying and deadly creature.

A wild wave of magma shot out of his mouth, shooting as he quickly dodged the sloth leech.

Neil took the two short swords, his body bursting out with power as he used Agility Lock.

Unlike the previous day, Neil was able to steal nearly 45% of its speed, greatly slowing the leech down.

Its attacks were deadly and managed to kill Neil a couple of times, but today was not as difficult as the previous day.

Neil could keep up with its speed, dodging nearly all attacks.

After nearly seven hours, they managed to kill the sloth leech.

Neil sat with his back against the corpse, as he pulled out the gene potions, drinking them directly.

Again, he went through the same experience, feeling his strength jump up rapidly.

And they were done with the Nest, until he evolved to the 3rd Origin it wouldn’t be of any use.

"I guess it is time to go out now." Neil decided.

To deal with the frost beast king, he planned to use the lava beast king.

And to lure that big centipede out, there was only one way. Neil planned to initiate a war between the two sides.

Which could only be done by doing one of Neil’s favorite things, not the recent one but by collecting shards.

By slaughtering a large number of centipedes.

’How great would it be if I could keep accumulating energy from the gene potions, after my cores are saturated, they are pretty much useless.’ Neil thought as he walked out of the Nest.

"Eli," he called out and opened the door after a moment, finding the healer sitting over the bed, trying to focus on something.

"Oh hubby, you are back!!" she quickly got up, walking over to see the extent of his injuries.

There were fewer injuries compared to before, her palms glowed as she started healing him.

"So, you will be going out now?" she asked, though she already knew.

"Yeah, I just want to get out of this hellhole. Ever since that damned awakening, my life has been anything but normal.

At least I got myself such a lovely woman." Neil mumbled, gently pinching her cheek.

"Mhmm Oh right, I saw those visions again. This time I even saw a big forest, it was getting devoured by flames... hmm strange black flames." Ileana spoke, her brows knitted in concentration.

"I see, well that’s a start. We can uncover it slowly, and I will help you deal with any problem, or take revenge while we are at it." He added.

Ileana just smiled, the past life was the past life, now she just wanted to stay with him.

The only reason she was even trying to uncover it was because it could help her grow stronger.

First Neil took a bath, then in his battle suit he walked out.

"Hubby look, what I made for Magnar." Ileana smiled as she showed a set of small cute clothes.

"You made them?" Neil asked in surprise, looking at the woolen clothes.

"Yes, I was experimenting with my abilities." She replied.

Neil looked at Magnar who was sleeping at the corner of the bed, picking up the unsuspecting familiar.

Magnar was startled, but before he knew it, he was wearing a white set of clothes.

"Wah, he looks so cute!!" Ileana patted Magnar’s head, the familiar looked like a cute stuffed toy.

Neil chuckled, his terrifying fighting partner now looked so harmless.

Playing with Magnar for a while, they ate food.
