’Damn, even lady luck doesn’t seem to be on my side right now’ thinking how hard it would be for him to raise his stats to that amount, the young man couldn’t help but shake his head wryly as the only method he can think of being the Epic-class monsters of even higher classes, this having both a good and a bad side.

The good side being the fact that he has a passive skill that he can use to detect those monsters whenever he enters another floor, this very skill the same one allowing him to hunt all five Epic-class monsters that resides within the span of the entire second floor of the Ethereal Tower.

The bad side is that despite the fact that he has this skill, it takes a whole lot of effort to hunt down such monsters, as not only are they far stronger than any other monster that exists in the floor they are in, except for the boss monster and the treasure guardian, a monster known only to the young man that is Azrael, they are also intelligent enough to escape once they come to realize that they are not able to win in a fight.

Not only that, but even if he can hunt all those monsters down, they barely provide the amount of boost he needs in order to meet the expectation of the quest that was just issued to him, and there’s not a lot of those monsters around, possibly only having two or more in the third floor but not too much more when compared to the second floor’s five Epic-class monster.

’I need to climb a lot of floors in order to complete this quest...’ he repeated to himself as the reality of this begins to sink in, the wry smile on his face indicating how much of a roller coaster this series of notifications are, bringing him absolutely up before crashing down as he starts realizing the time it will take for him to complete a single quest.

"Whatever, it took me ten years to complete that particular hidden quest, who am I to complain right now? I only need to reach higher floors, if I did it once, I can do it all over again..." Azrael motivate himself as he clenches the fist holding the night black sword, said sword vibrating as if to express its support and agreement to its user as it lets out a shrill, energetic sound, prompting its owner to smile brighter than the one he had previously.

Now that he feels like this quest is way easier and will take shorter amount of time compared to the time he used to ascend to the second floor of the Ethereal Tower, the young man then regains his vigor once again, feeling quite motivated to fight against the treasure guardian of the second floor even more due to such quest, completely forgetting to look forward to what sort of greatest treasure the second floor has to offer.

’Now this...’ after gathering himself once again to check the items the he received, he couldn’t help but still feel surprised no matter how many times he reads through the information of one of the items that he received, still in disbelief that an item like this can exist.

[Void Recalling Stone]

[A stone made from the heart of the void, capable of transporting the possessor to a place tied into the core of the stone. Can only be used one time, will break once the possessor goes to and return to the place recorded on the stone.]

Recalling what sort of existence the Island Orca he fought with is, along with the fat that it is still considered a young one based on the description of the mission concerning its existence, Azrael thought to himself that as much as it is interesting to explore such higher floors immediately, there would be nothing that he can do to defend himself even from the slightest of graze there, and he would just end up as nothing but a perpetually regenerating puddle of blood should he get attacked by any existence there.

Deciding to keep it for later should he find himself in a precarious situation and needs a desperate route of escape, he then kept this reward not in his spatial ring but in the guide’s storage for even better safekeeping, before going on to check the remaining items that he acquired as a reward from the mission.

[Island Orca’s Eyes]

[A fermented eye refined from the eye of a great monster itself, the Island Orca. This eye can be used to refine multiple batches of potion or poison enhancing the effect of both by ten times the normal effect.]

Immediately paying attention to the poison rather than the potion part, Azrael’s eyes glows as he starts thinking of something that he can do to utilize the effect of this item properly, in his own belief, a process that might increase his combat prowess manyfold without going through a lot of trouble.

[Heart of the Island]

[A massive heart still beating despite being removed from its origin. Not only can it function as a heart of an Island Orca, it is also possible to extract it from one and use it as an engine that can be used to power everything by absorbing massive amount of life force within the area.]

Nodding at the effects of this item, Azrael thought that his ones should be left for more experienced craftsmen to find the use of, and his meager skills regarding such matters might now make him compatible for the job of finding the best utilization for such treasure.

’I could use it as a room for cultivating my Immortal Energy but that might be too wasteful, however, who knows? I might as well try it out before finding other use to it... ’ the young man sighs as he hopes that he find someone who can bring the best out of this item as soon as possible.
