Extra: Yandere Milfs Obsessed with me!-Chapter 158: Confusion
After a few minutes of walking, the two finally arrived in front of the training room. To their great surprise, the place was almost completely empty. It was still a bit unusual to see this large room so vacant. It was so frequented that some could be said to live there.
"Huh... there’s no one here. That’s weird."
Kaiser walked forward without stopping, climbing easily onto one of the raised rings. "At least you’ll be able to let loose."
Kara, on the other hand, remained at the entrance for a few seconds, motionless. Her gaze wandered without really seeing. She hadn’t even noticed that the room was empty. Her mind was elsewhere, trapped in a far more intimate turmoil.
’But what’s happening to me...?’
A slight pressure squeezed her chest, unpleasant, persistent. ’Why do I feel this way?’
Ever since she realized Kaiser had just been with another woman, something had gone haywire inside her. A confused sensation, almost foreign. It wasn’t pure anger. Nor sadness. More like discomfort, an unease that refused to fade. But why the hell now? She already knew he was seeing other girls, so why did it bother her now?
’The last time, I was the one who kissed him... I shouldn’t expect anything from that bastard!’
Despite her seemingly unanswerable questions. Deep down, there was that feeling of knowing exactly where it came from, even if she stubbornly ignored it.
’... He annoys me? No, it’s something else.’ she told herself slowly.
The idea flashed through her mind like lightning before she shook her head sharply, almost violently.
’Lov... No... what am I saying. It’s impossible for it to be something so trivial.’ she hurried to correct herself as if someone else could hear, then laughed inwardly, mocking herself for the absurdity.
’I admit I like it when he pats my head, that’s true. And I was happy when he defended me. But that’s it.’
She took a deep breath.
’I’m just his bodyguard. Even if I’m still weak... all I want is to repay him because he helped me back then... Nothing more.’
This thought seemed logical. Reassuring. She clung to it like an absolute truth.
"So? Are you planning to train or analyze the arena?"
Kaiser’s voice abruptly pulled her from her thoughts. Standing on the ring, he had been watching her for several minutes already, arms crossed, an amused glint in his eyes.
"I didn’t know you were some kind of scientist at heart," he added in a sarcastic tone before smiling.
"Shut up..." Kara replied as she climbed onto the ring in turn.
She finally became aware of the space around them, the silence, the attention Kaiser was giving her. It irritated her more than she wanted to admit.
Her gaze slid toward the corner of the ring where Kaiser’s weapons rested, neatly placed against the wall.
"So today too, you’re not planning to use a sword?" she asked, looking at him.
"Until I find it necessary."
Kaiser straightened slightly, adopting a relaxed, grounded stance. "My fists will be enough."
He paused.
"You also need to work on close combat."
Kara observed his posture. He seemed relaxed, almost careless. Yet she knew better than anyone that it was an illusion. His center of gravity was low, stable. His shoulders loose but ready to explode at the slightest adverse movement.
She sighed.
"As you wish."
She assumed her guard.
The fight began without any signal.
Kara attacked first, closing the distance in a fraction of a second. Her fist shot toward Kaiser’s face, fast, precise. He simply tilted his head, letting the blow pass a few centimeters from his cheek, then pivoted on his back foot.
"So tell me, what’s bothering you?" Kaiser asked, casually starting a conversation during the fight.
She immediately followed with a knee strike aimed at his abdomen. Kaiser lowered his elbow to intercept the impact, absorbed the force without flinching, then stepped back.
"It’s nothing," she replied before continuing. "I see you’re getting comfortable, talking during a fight."
Kara suddenly increased the pace, giving him no respite. She multiplied her attacks, alternating straight punches, hooks, sweeps. Her movements were clean, controlled, infused with a contained rage she no longer even tried to hide.
But Kaiser read every single one of her moves.
He dodged with a disconcerting economy of motion. A sidestep. A twist of the torso. A simple foot slide. Every attack from Kara found only empty air or was deflected at the last instant.
"Why so much brutality," Kaiser said with a sigh. "I told you, you can just say clearly what’s bothering you..."
She attempted a low sweep; Kaiser, already seeing the move coming, jumped just enough to avoid it and landed behind her, placing a hand on her shoulder.
"Who is that woman?" she blurted out without even thinking, yet still waiting for an answer.
"Ah... so that was it?" Kaiser said, confirming her thoughts. "...Well, she’s an acquaintance," Kaiser decided not to give too many details.
"If you say so," she replied coldly.
In a fraction of a second, she spun around abruptly, throwing an elbow strike that Kaiser blocked with his forearm at the last moment before pushing her back with pressure on her chest.
She retreated two steps, grinding her teeth; she no longer even tried to hide her angeror rather, she was incapable of it, but Kaiser said nothing, simply observing her.
Kara then feinted a head strike to hit the body, trying to trap him. Kaiser realized too late that the first move was a feint. Kara’s fist headed straight for his ribs.
He deliberately took the hit, contracting his muscles to reduce the impact, then grabbed her wrist. In a fluid motion, he pulled Kara toward him, unbalancing her, before placing his leg behind hers and throwing her to the ground.
She rolled immediately to avoid being pinned, got back up in guard, panting.
Kaiser, on the other hand, breathed calmly. There was no more talking; Kara was simply venting while Kaiser had only been defending until now, but perhaps he needed to test her now.
Following that logic, he advanced.
This time it was him attacking.
A direct, fast strike that Kara barely blocked. A second, heavier one that forced her to retreat. He varied the rhythm, alternating slow strikes and sudden explosions, gradually breaking her defense.
"Try to follow me, predict my next moves, and use them to your advantage," he said calmly. Kaiser had chosen to give her advice during the fight anyway; it was the only thing he could do.
Kara tried to counterattack, but Kaiser anticipated. He deliberately left openings, drawing her in, then closed the trap. A hit to the ribs. Another to the shoulder. Not strong enough to seriously injure her, but precise enough to remind her of the gap between them.
"Tch..."
She attempted one last assault, concentrating all her strength in a frontal charge.
Kaiser slipped to the side, grabbed her arm, pivoted, and slammed her violently to the ground. He found himself above her in an instant, one knee pinning her hips, one hand immobilizing both her wrists above her head.
"I know you’re angry at me," he began, looking at her, his voice softening a little. "So as long as you want, you can vent..."
Suddenly realization hit her; Kara was panting, heart pounding wildly. She now avoided his gaze, frustrated, ashamed, unable to deny reality. She had just vented on Kaiser, but looking closer, she couldn’t give a concrete reason. How was she supposed to protect him if she was the one attacking him?
Kaiser slowly released the pressure and stood up, offering her his hand.
"Sorry," she muttered, taking his hand. "Thanks for the fight, I’m leaving now."
Without waiting for a reply, she left the room.
[Ding! Kara is in deep confusion regarding you... She no longer knows what to think.]
