Kronos sighed. "But it wasn't the end I expected it to be. Several hundred years later, more Outer Gods would come, and this time, our world had no one who would protect it.

"Yaleth already was stronger than everyone except The One Above All, and now four beings on par with Yaleth were coming?

"There was nothing humanity would be able to do."

Kronos never told anyone about the future.

One was leaving behind the prophecy of Holy War where the four Outer Gods would come.

Second was building the Sky Barrier – it used Kronos' soul as a sacrifice but that was a small price to pay.

"To win the Holy War, we needed a weapon. One that was as strong as, if not stronger than, One Above All.

"That's why you were born – created, Arthur."

Kronos looked Neo in the eye.

"You don't have a mother. I used Zeus' bloodline as a base, and gave you the Bloodline of all Gods I could find, including the ones from outside.

"That's why your Traits were far more diverse than what Zeus' Bloodline should be able to have.

"And the limitless potential of Hades' Bloodline made sure you could grow beyond gene limit without consuming a Sacred Treasure."

Kronos chuckled, trying to light the mood. "Honestly, going by potential alone, you surpass even the freaks like Zeus, Daniel and Kane."

Without waiting for a response, Kronos snapped his fingers, and the scenery changed.

"I hope you don't think that you weren't real just because you are a Spell-born child. To me, you were truly my Grandson. I don't have a son though, hohohohoho."

In the new scene, Kronos was holding a silver plate.

"Since you might be curious about your origins, that is what I used to create you.

"It's one of the sides of the Pandora's Box.

"You should already know that Pandora's Box now holds the Akashic Record, but one of its sides is open, and that side-plate was used to create the Rune for your birth."

"Pandora Box again?" Neo frowned.

"Why did I use Pandora Box?" Kronos spoke to the air. "It's because of what I found while researching it.

"Pandora Box isn't a weapon, or the harbinger of tragedy. It's an Incubator.

"And it works like a venomous pit. All sorts of powerful and dangerous creatures are put inside it. They are trapped there and only let out when the strongest one wins and kills all others.

"With the Pandora Box's ability to evolve anything kept inside it, the 'being' that would be born there would not only be the strongest, but also something that has never been seen before."

Kronos snapped his fingers.

The scene changed to that of Melione opening the Pandora's Box.

"At this moment, Pandora's Box hadn't birthed a being yet. The ones inside it were still fighting for hegemony. That's why when it was opened, the contents spilled out, and what then occurred was later called an Apocalypse."

After explaining everything, the scenery around them returned to normal.

"Lastly, Zeus has left the planet. Though I doubt you care since he technically isn't your father."

Kronos looked towards Neo with a smile. A bitter, yet happy smile.

"I won't be alive by the time you reach here, but if you are here, then you must've become sufficiently strong."

Kronos made the motion of patting Neo's head.

"I'm proud of you for overcoming everything. You've worked hard."

Kronos' figure began to blur.

A beat later, he disappeared.

Neo exhaled audibly.

The hologram was an Intent recording left behind by Kronos. It was only surviving due to Kronos' wish of delivering his final words to Arthur.

Neo looked around.

The Intent fused into the sub-dimension of the Sky Barrier was the same as the Intent of the hologram.

The entire barrier was made from Kronos.

His Consciousness had long since died, but his soul – barely hanging by a thread – kept the barrier up to protect the world. At least until Arthur could come here.

Neo created an Intent with the recording of Kronos' last message and sent it down to the Earth, inside Arthur.

It would show him the memories when Arthur reached Fabled rank.

After doing that, Neo just stared at the empty expanse.

All of it was created by Kronos.

To protect their world.

To leave a message behind for Arthur.

Neo bit his lips.

Planetary wars devastated worlds.

They were especially bad for weaker worlds that had recently gained Consciousness and were evolving.

Worlds like Earth would be invaded by others, and the inhabitants could do nothing but surrender or die.
