Extra's Hatred System-Chapter 19: Theory Exams
Chapter 19: Theory Exams
[New skill: Extra's Knowledge.]
[You are an extra from another world, plus you already read about all the information you need inside the novel, so why even bother to study?
This skill allows the system user to access information not known to normal people.
It doesn't include combat and fighting abilities, but the system user will have a 100% success rate for every test he takes, unless otherwise stated.]
I was shocked. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝓫𝓷𝓸𝒗𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝓶
"This is the most convenient skill ever" I mumbled before putting my eyes back on the paper and grabbing the pen next to me.
"Ohh..."
A small smile crept onto my face as I started answering the questions.

"Time is up, pass your papers" Mr.Volt shouted, announcing the end of the exam time
"Good job, everyone, tomorrow we will have the second part" Ms.Lana said and snapped her fingers again, thus teleporting the test papers infront of us to her desk.
"So how did you do?" Mina talked to me as soon as it was over.
And I couldn't help but smile.
"I did alright I guess."

The following two days, I didn't even touch a book other then the one where I wrote the following arcs of the novel.
Of course Mina talked to me about my recklessness but I promptly ignored her.
"Kaine, you need to study or you might have to take supplementary classses, and if this happens we won't be able to see each other as much..." she was pleading to me to just read some of important lines in the lessons, but I refused.
"You really don't want to be seperated from me don't ya" I teased her again, this actually became one of my favorite hobbies as her reactions were priceless.
And just as expected, her face turned bright red and she shouted while walking to the kitchen, "I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU ANYMORE THEN, YOU CAN DO WHAT YOU WANT"
But seeing this angered sight of hers reminded me of something extremely important for the next arc.
"Wait" I grabbed her hand, "let's make a bet."
"A b-bet? About what?"
"Whoever has the highest grades during the test has to listen to one request of the other"
Mina didn't respond for atleast ten seconds as she tried to process the information.
"BAHAHAHAHA" then she suddenly laughed, "deal Kaine, you better not back down when I ask you to be my slave for the remainder of the year."
Of course, I knew that she couldn't win agaisn't the Extra's Knowledge skill, but I asked for this for a specific reason and not for any sort of perverted stuff.
It was because during the practical exam, also called "Island Arc", Mina will do something extremely reckless that will put the group at immense risk.
I needed it for that.

It was now tuesday, and just like yesterday, there was another theory exam waiting for us when we arrived to class.
When the papers appeared infront of me, I almost laughed out loud because of the sheer simplicity of the questions, I could see everybody else in the classroom struggle yet here I was almost seeing the answers infront of me because of the skill.
We had four hours for this test, but I had finiahed in less then one.
Yesterday I just kept waiting for the teachers to announce the end of the time, but today I was bored so I decided to hand over my paper early.
"Umm, excuse me" I stood up and approached the two teachers, "I finished the test, is it okay if I leave early?"
"Really? It hasn't been two hours yet."
"Yeah, I am done."
They both looked at each other in awe and nodded.
"Fine, go ahead, but once you give us this paper you can't go back on your words.
"Thank you."
"Well then you can leave I guess...?"
I bowed and exited the classroom, leaving the noisy place behind as I could hear some whispers of the students struggling.
"Did he really finish the test?"
"Nah no way."
"This guy probably thought it was so difficult that he just abandonned"
I couldn't help but smirk at their ignorance, I guess this is what you call "suffering from success."

It was now the third and final day of the exams.
I entered the classroom and was greeted with the usual sights, students trying to cram the information they were given.
"Today's the last day huh..." Mina was beside me as she spoke those words, "this is gonna be tough, but i'm still gonna win haha, try not to abandon early like yesterday."
"No worries" I answered.
I was curious as to what the result was, but I had faith that my Extra's Knowledge was more than enough.
"Good morning, and welcome to the last day of the theory exams."
Ms.Lana's voice interrupted the class's chatter and everyone turned their attention towards her.
"Mr.Volt and I will explain the practical exam tomorrow and give the results of the tests at the same time, but for now, start the last theory exam."
As soon as she finished talking, the papers were teleported to us, and we started.
And the same scene as the past three days unfolded, everybody was struggling except for me.
"This is so boring."
And so I decided to do a little experience: try to purposely write the wrong answer.
But to my greatest surprise, it wouldn't let me, when I thought about writing a different answer on the paper, my hand would automatically write the right one without me asking for it to.
"I guess I am doomed to have 100% at every test..." I sighed.
In opposition to yesterday though, I actually waited around for the other students to finish, after all some guy like me finishing two tests early and getting the max score would be unbelievable.
"Time is up, hand your papers"
Just as the teachers told us, the papers disapeared from our desks, and we were all dismissed for the rest of the day.
"Hey" the elf was holding a big grin, "you ready for the results?"
"Yep, we'll know tomorrow who's gonna have to listen to the other"
"Hmph, don't be surprised when I come asking for the biggest favor."
"Oh, we'll see"
The two of us went back to the dorm and while Mina was preparing something to celebrate the end of the exams, I spent my time reviewing the events of the next arc.
We spent the rest of this afternoon playing games and talking to each other, which almost made me forget about the following events of the novel.
Yet I knew that the deeper I went into the novel arcs, the more dangerous and harder it would be to stay alive.
