Axel, at a slightly slowed speed, witnessed as the countless attacks converged on him. From the moment he moved straight towards Jaden. Axel himself was still in motion as his mana pumped up the sword more and more, the lightning cackling from it increased in intensity.

The defenders determined to finish them as fast as possible, but the attackers, who had simply gone mad, started fighting as if they were ready to take down their enemies alongside them, even if it meant dying. Their commander had relayed a message to them after all,

’To not get pushed back no matter what,’ and they would make sure that they would not, no matter what.

As the white light from the point of clash receded, the figure of Axel was revealed, and so was the figure of his enemies. Both parties remained unharmed, but the ground in between them; everything was charred, the ground itself, which was forced to endure the brunt of the attack, turned as black as charcoal.

Axel showed a subtle, provocative smile towards his enemies, and both of the sides remained uninjured; however, the very fact that one Seeker alone had blocked a combined attack of 40 others, simply shook his enemies to their very core. There was now extreme wariness in all of their eyes, fear, apprehension; they were looking at him as if he were a... monster.

Jaden Redmar glared at him with chilling hatred. The guy thought that Axel would be out and gone after that explosion, but the guy’s insidious artifacts saved him AGAIN.
