"So this is the Camel storm."

Up close, The wind blew on Athan’s face. Even though the ice shield protected him, he still felt some outside sensations. The storm was made out of wind, clouds, and some stones floating around.

Athan climbed up after Egul who was already on the top of the mountain. other than the storm that was brewing above them, the mountaintop surprised Athan a bit.

"It’s flat?"

The whole surface that disconnected the real top of the Camel peak from the bottom rest was flat. A smooth surface that even a human-made structure could hardly replicate.

"This is the first time I’m seeing it too"

"What?" Athan was even more surprised by Egul’s remark. "Then how did you get up there?"

"The first time I got here, I got swept by the wind... It’s not a good time."

Athan imagined a young Egul that had been taken to the skies by the wind and couldn’t. Egul now was far more formidable for him to imagine the feeble kid.

"How did you survive this... that’s like... completely random?"

The storm was violent, and he would have flown away without the ice shield protecting him. His body would have splattered on the ground somewhere below. Luckily he got Egul here to protect him, if not he would have to climb up here and hope he got lucky.

"Yep, that day the goddess of the hunt didn’t want me with her"

"Goddess of hunt huh..." Athan looked up in the sky, and there he saw the rest of the mountain., floating right above them. The top half too looked as flat as the bottom half.

"This thing is too clean... like it had been cut by something" Athan voiced his observation.

"Impossible," Egul couldn’t imagine such a thing. He stood proud among many warriors of the tribes, and throughout the years, he encountered countless knights. He could safely say he was one of the toughest warriors and he had never seen such power.

"Nothing is impossible in this world."

Egul looked at Athan, he gave that sentence a thought.

"...."

"Have you imagined that you’d met an immortal guy?"

"...."

"See."

"You got me there." Egul rolled his eyes "We are going up"

"How?" Athan looked up at the sky again and could only see violent winds and clouds. It was as dark as night, and they could barely see anything if not for the sunlight that slipped through the maddening storm.

"Come closer" Egul, gestured. Atahn looked at the man doubtfully.

"OK?" Athan came a bit closer, his hand held up a bit, guarding his body. He’s not scared of death, but Egul’s attitude. The tribesman’s face would usually look brighter. Egul closed the distance and grabbed Athan holding him in his arm.

"What are you doing?" Atahn asked, unsure of what Egul had in mind.

"We jump"

Egul said with a smile on his face. His legs spread out, giving him the area to put all his power into. The ground cracked, running on a completely flat surface as he sprung himself upward. Athan’s face was hit with a violent wind, both from the speed at which he traveled upward and the wind and cloud that swirled there.

Athan struggled to see in the storm with normal human eyes; mostly wind and clouds blocked his vision. A second later, Egul landed on something, and finally, Athan could get his bearings again.

The place that Egul jumped to was a rock that was floating in the storm. The wind here was so strong that it lifted up a whole rock from somewhere. Egul found one that he could use as a stepping stone to get to the top.

"Wh... do....w...g"

However, the storm wasn’t only violent and dark; it was also loud—louder than Athan’s words, who was speaking something that Egul couldn’t understand. He looked at Athan and smiled again, not answering the gibberish that the guy spoke.

Then he made another jump, this time not to the rock above. This went off five times before Egul was able to exit the storm and go above the cloud.

There the sight of the beautiful sun greeted them.

Since they were in winter and the northern land was covered in snow, Egul rarely saw the sun.

"They’re as beautiful as I remember"

Seeing such a sight, he reminiscent about the first time he was here. It was a magical journey of himself hanging on to dear life on a rock that floated in the storm. that day he got lucky and survived, but this time there’s no luck involved, he got here fair and square.

That moment lasted for a mere second before Egul landed on the top part of the mountain. His one hand grabbed onto the stone and Athan also grabbed onto the grey stone. The mountain was till steep as always.

"Wow, you really are powerful"

"I know"

Egul said that as he continued to climb upward. There’s still a long way to go before reaching the place that Athan wanted to. They both climb for a long time.

----------

"Ready?"

"Why do I have to go?" Nena asked, clearly didn’t want to work anymore. She had already killed the mother with her own hands! How could it survive when her clothes searched every place around for more pieces of the mother and found nothing? Even the saintess divination said that he already killed the mother!

"Do you want to let that guy go?" Sanchez pointed at another priest beside her that was 6th circle. Nena’s eyes twitch, the person beside her did not have battle-oriented power. "If our job is not finished, you won’t be going home either"

"Sir, with you here, I doubt the mother would survive"

"That’s not your job." Sanchez pointed at Reeva "Your job is to protect the apostle while I raze the place to the ground."

Nena could only smile when she heard that statement. At least he did not need to fight anyone, right?

"Hold still"

Sanchez said after setting up something on the ground. Using the snow to draw a circle and fill it with language that Reeva couldn’t speak.

"Finally it’s finished"

"What is this?" The saintess asked, curious about the circle. She herself had never seen it used in the church after becoming the saintess.

"A travel spell"

"Why haven’t I heard of it?" from that name, she imagined it would be useful to have in a tough situation, hell if she could travel very fast then the mother would be in her grasp pretty quickly.

"Well, first off, it needed this" Sanchez brought out a divine relic that was used to cast the god’s punishment. This one just looked like a normal bell, however, it was filled to the brim with mystic power.

The saintess nodded softly, however, she still didn’t see why it was such an obscure spell if the only thing it needed was a divine relic, that could get that once a year but it was worth it if they could get to Mother instantly. Sensing another question, Sanchez decided to answer first.

"Just using one of these was enough to deplete one of the divine relics, possibly breaking it"

"Breaking divine relic?"

One has to note that the divine relic was filled to the brim with mystic power, if it was depleted there was a chance of it breaking. In almost all of the circumstances, the divine relics wouldn’t run out of power. They were called divine for a reason, the mystic force inside them usually never ran out even casting god’s punishment.

So it came as a surprise that this spell could.

"It’ requires the mystic of this divine relic and mine to travel vast distances. I could not use it lightly. Even I didn’t want to use it because I wouldn’t have mystic power to fully manifest higher power. Only the pope and three people knew this spell and one of them was me"

Reeva and Lucy couldn’t hide their surprised face after overhearing the conversation. They became much more impressed after knowing how much it took to use the spell. Lucy was much more impressed because she knew how much mystic power she had and hearing the requirement she likely couldn’t use the thing.

"Are you guys ready?"

"Yes sir!"

Both Reeva and Nena answered with more enthusiasm than before. Both of them were about to use a spell that few people in the church could even witness. Sanchez smiled at the two and walked onto the spell circle. They drew this thing inside a tent so that the weather couldn’t affect it. Otherwise, it would be a nightmare to draw this thing in the snowy weather.

"O God, please hear my plea, Guide us with your divine decree. May your radiant light carve the path,"

The words echo throughout the whole tent. The saintess watched with anticipation. After Sanchez finished casting his spell, the light fell down from the sky above. destroying the tent and ribbing the whole through the cloudy sky.

Reeva, Nena, and Sanchez’s whole body was engulfed in light as it got dragged into the sky. Soon all three people that were within the circle were gone. Leaving a burnt ground, a melt ice, and a ripped tent after the spell.
