F-Rank Puppeteer!! But I'll be Queen, and I'm not a narcissist!!!!!-Chapter 194: A Small Revenge Being Carried Out in Secret
"...". I retrieve my weapon from the storage ring to face this angel. I need to kill this angel before Lucien arrives. From within the ring emerges the weapon I use most in battles against strong opponents.
[Virgo’s Lunar Star]. A metallic Bec de Corbin. It’s black with pink accents, carrying high explosive power in each strike, applying various harmful and aphrodisiac effects to destabilize the target’s nervous system.
It’s essentially a hammer for rapid strikes, where the back is a spike, perfect for brutal and piercing attacks, which suits my fighting style perfectly.
"...". I spin the hammer between my fingers, twirling it as I wait for the angel to advance. She points her spear at me and flies around me. In an instant, she appears behind me. With a horizontal spin, I strike her spear, deflecting the attack.
Using the momentum of the block, I swing the hammer in a horizontal-vertical arc that the angel dodges by flying backward.
"[Magic Breaker]". I use an attack that splits her strike in half. She had launched a giant beam of light. I notice all her magical attacks are excessively large.
’That’s... limiting...’. I try to close in on her with a spin of the hammer, attempting to pierce her head from below. She defends with her spear, but I manage to kick her stomach, destabilizing her slightly.
"Urgh!". I barely dodge a thrust. It tears part of my clothing, meaning it pierced the magical armor I created. I was almost wounded. She begins launching dozens of extremely fast thrusts. I can only dodge.
Multiple cuts appear on my clothes, making small cuts on my skin. But soon her attack loses stability. She takes a huge leap backward, creating distance.
"...?" She looks at me confused, as if something in her body was wrong but she didn’t know exactly what.
"W-What did you do to me?" she asks, but I ignore her, looking at her spear. There are splatters of my blood on it, just as there are splatters on her clothes, and even a drop on her face.
’Stupid angel...’. Succubus blood is a drug. Even when I was a man, my blood had a potent, harmful aphrodisiac effect. It wasn’t meant to give pleasure; it was to affect the victim until they became incapacitated.
But now, as a woman, the effect of this drug has evolved to a point where just its scent affects the body’s nervous system, slowing everything down and reducing a person’s mental capacity.
’I never thought turning into a girl would give me this small advantage...’. I always knew succubus blood was traded as an aphrodisiac, but I had forgotten that my blood now has the same effect.
"I didn’t do anything. You’re just weak," I taunt. As long as she doesn’t know what it is, she won’t be able to cure it, since normal healing spells don’t affect this status.
"...!!!". She makes a horrible face of rage and charges at me. With a dodge and a spin of the hammer, I strike her chin with the flat part of the hammer. The powerful blow shatters her jaw, and the pressure breaks some of her teeth, sending her upward.
"...[Def-". I was about to advance on her with an attack, but she plummets down fast in a dive that forces me to defend. We fall extremely fast. I look down—too fast for me to dodge. I throw my body to the side as we hit the ground. I almost get killed by her spear.
I get up quickly from the ground in pain. My clothes are just tatters, full of holes, and small wounds are spilling blood. But the angel girl is staggering, and her breathing has started to become ragged.
She isn’t aroused. This aphrodisiac only arouses people of the opposite gender to the one applying the effect. Since I’m a woman and she’s a woman, what’s happening is quite simple: her brain is freezing up, unable to respond properly.
"It seems you weren’t all that great after all..." I say arrogantly, regaining some control of the situation.
"[Sacred Carbonization]". She uses magic, and in an instant, she’s in front of me. I look down and spit blood. Her spear is deeply embedded in my body near my breasts, but a little lower.
If I had been in my male body, I would have dodged. But now, with this slower body, I only barely avoided a fatal blow. She tries to twist the spear, but I knee her already destroyed jaw and push her away. She ends up letting go of the weapon and backing off.
"...". I push the spear further in. Pulling it out would kill me, so I shove it all the way through, making it completely exit my body.
’80% of my magic was burned away...’. Literally, the Hikishin inside my body seemed to catch fire and turn to ashes. Definitely the fault of her magic. I use most of the Hikishin I have left to heal myself, closing the wound so I don’t die.
’It was a serious wound, but I’ll survive...’. The extra amount of blood makes the angel girl stagger and almost fall. She points her hand at me and tries to use magic, but stumbles backward and misses. An immense white blast is fired upward.
The destructive power of that attack gives me chills. I would have died if it had hit me. A mountain in the background behind us received a huge hole straight through it, showing the potency of the attack.
"...". I look at my weapon and her weapon. I pick up hers and store mine away. Her weapon is clearly much better and more powerful than my relic. Even though I have no experience with a spear, I know how to use this type of weapon, and it could give me an advantage.
"[Sacred Magic Reinforcement]". She uses some kind of magic that makes her glow white. Immediately, she appears in front of me with a punch. I defend, having already gotten used to her explosive fighting style.
I counter with a kick that she dodges by jumping. I swing the spear in a backward cut that almost hits her, but she ducks in time and tries to leap to grab me. I kick again, almost hitting her, but as she’s fast, she manages to dodge.
"!!!". She grabs my tail and pulls. I try to defend, but she punches me in the face. I swing the spear, but a miscalculation of distance makes the spear’s shaft hit my massive breasts and bounce upward.
"Aaahhh!". She uses my mistake to deliver several punches to my stomach. I try to move the spear again, but just as it’s about to hit her, she uses some kind of magic that explodes everything around her in a small area. The spear, hit by the explosion, is torn from my hand and flung upward.
"W-Wait!". She grabs my arm, ignoring my stupid exclamation born from surprise, and delivers a blow, spinning me in the air and slamming my back hard against the ground. The violent impact breaks one of my wings.
I disengage from her and jump back, but she closes the distance and starts throwing dozens of punches. I’m completely on the defensive, unable to react. Each of her punches is extremely powerful, pressuring me rapidly.
"...Ughm!". She punches me in the stomach, making me double over completely. She uses that to deliver a knee strike that barely misses my face. I try to straighten up fully, but she gives me a spinning kick, throwing me against a tree.
"...". When I look up, I see her charging that same magic that blew a hole through a mountain. Too close to miss, despite the tremor in her hand. Fear fills my heart, making it beat wildly. Getting hit by this will definitely kill me.
I feel like I’m going to die. It paralyzes me. When her magic finishes charging, I close my eyes, waiting for the attack. But before the charged magic fires, I hear a sickening sound of something breaking as something warm splashes on my face.
"A-Ahh!". I scramble backward as I open my eyes and see a sword almost touching me. I see that a blade has pierced the angel girl’s head from behind, perfectly destroying her brain. Her body stands for a few seconds before collapsing, her magic dispersing as she died.
"T-That blade". I look up and see the last person I wanted to see. Lucien, with a face clearly furious at my failure.
"L-Lucien, w-wait!! I-I can explain why I failed! I-I didn’t know there was a royal guard angel!!". I try to explain as he lands in front of me. He stares at me as if I were trash.
"You’re so incompetent you were struggling against a mere royal guard angel? How do you even expect to compete for the throne when you’re this weak?" He grabs my arm and yanks it. His gaze is dangerously lethal, and his frown is full of hatred.
"T-That’s not fair to me! My blessing doesn’t work well against people with such explosive strikes! And neither you nor Evelyn predicted that angel’s appearance!!"
"Now you’re blaming others? You truly are filthy scum. A disgusting worm and an incompetent one at that. Why did I even let you live then? Explain to me what use you are in this war? If you can’t even do something this simple," he says as if keeping a royal guard angel busy were easy.
The only ones who can do that easily are him and Esther. Even Marie, who has an extremely powerful blessing, has difficulty against royal guard angels.
I see a dagger in his hand and realize he really is going to kill me. And here, with no one to prove he killed me, he won’t be breaking any rules of the competition for the throne. I start to cry.
"P-Please, d-don’t kill me". I beg in fear.
"Oh, begging now? You want me not to kill you?... Remember her? The girl I loved. Remember her face as she begged you not to do that to her?" When he says that, my eyes avert, and I remember. And that makes him even more furious, gaining a demonically distorted smile.
"So you do remember. She killed herself because of you. And you now have the audacity to beg me for your life... hahahahahahahaHAHAHAHAHA". He laughs insanely.
"P-Please forgive me, I-I didn’t know y-you liked her! I-I’ll do anything for you not to kill me!". He moves his knife, and I realize the rest of my clothes and my bra have been cut, making my massive breasts spring free.
"Ah, yes. I’m not going to kill you, don’t worry. Killing you would be too merciful. I thought about what Evelyn said when she told me not to kill you. I’ve thought every day about what to do with you."
"And see the irony of fate. Now you’re a girl. You’re still the same repulsive Laplace as always, but now a girl..."
"W-Wait, w-what the hell are you... Y-You madman!!! Are you thinking of... UHGhhmm". He grabs my face.
"Yes, I’m thinking exactly that. I’m going to make you suffer just like you made her suffer. But I’ll do much worse." He spins me around, slamming my face against a tree. He grabs my hair tightly, pulling it as he takes his knife and starts shredding more of my clothes.
"Don’t worry. No one will hear you scream and beg for help. Just like when you did it to her." He speaks maliciously as I begin to cry.

Galaxy’s Note
Readers, I believe it’s quite obvious what Lucien will do to Laplace, and frankly, there’s no need to describe it in words. I’m leaving this note because I initially pondered two possibilities.
The first was to write the scene happening, showing Laplace’s perspective as Lucien "takes revenge." The second was not to write the scene and leave what happens implied, without showing it directly.
And I ended up deciding... to leave it implied. It’s a heavy scene, and frankly, no one here is in the mood to see forced R-18 involving Laplace and Lucien, especially something of this nature. So it will happen, but it won’t be shown or described.
And yes, it’s wrong, but we’re talking about demons—you couldn’t expect something peaceful. It’s a Dark Fantasy work, so it’s natural that there are dark moments. Probably some readers will even be satisfied to know that Laplace will suffer this, since let’s face it, he’s a pretty rotten character.
But it will stop there: there will be no description of the scene, only the implication, leaving it to your imagination what Lucien will do to Laplace. Furthermore, it’s a Yuri work, so it would be strange to insert an R-18 scene between Laplace and Lucien in a story of this type. There are a few good reasons for this decision.
First, because it’s a Yuri work, and readers of this genre didn’t come here to see a forced relationship between a man and a girl.
Second, because it’s a heavy and serious theme that shouldn’t be glorified, and leaving it implied is more than enough.
Third, because this situation has no direct relation to Evelyn, who has no involvement with them or this specific conflict.
And fourth, because I tend to write scenes very descriptively, which would probably violate WebNovel’s rules regarding content.
So, for those who would like to see this just because they hate Laplace, I’m sorry, but I hope you understand that most people don’t really want to read something like that, aside from it not being suitable for the platform.
From this point in the War onward, the work begins to get darker and darker. As I said before, it would start more mildly and gradually become more dark over time—and now we are entering that spiral, where things finally start to get heavier.
I hope you are enjoying the work so far. I apologize for the long note, but it was necessary to make it clear that this scene will not exist in the upcoming Chapters.
