Falling for the Omega Idol-Chapter 223: THE FIFTH EPISODE (III)
[Is it just me or does Park Mirae come off as really fake?]
- I thought I was the only one who noticed this!
- Seriously, that whole saint act was so annoying. Acting like he’s so selfless when he just went ahead and decided things without actually considering what his teammates wanted. Ugh.
└ So now being kind is a bad thing?
└└ Right? I don’t get why people are trying so hard to make Mirae look bad.
- You people will twist anything to fit your own narrative.
└ Oh please. Anyone who’s dealt with someone like Park Mirae knows exactly what he’s doing.
└└ This. I’ve met a Park Mirae before, and trust me, they are exhausting to be around.
└└ Now you’re just lying. What did Mirae ever do to you?
└└└ It’s jealousy. Plain and simple. People are just jealous of him.
└└└└ Jealous? Of what? His fans are the delusional ones here.
- You’re only catching on now? With how he’s always hanging around Jung Taeyang, I thought it was obvious.
└ What are you even talking about? You guys will say anything at this point.
└ Mirae was just being friendly. Honestly, Jung Taeyang is the one who comes off as rude to him.
└└ LOL. Since when does Taeyang have to entertain anyone he doesn’t want to? He’s not Han Seojun, who feels obligated to be nice to every Omega.
└└└ Can we please leave Seojun out of this?
└ Shouldn’t you be saying this to Kang Haneul? He’s the one always glued to Taeyang’s side.
└└ Big difference. Haneul doesn’t chase Taeyang down. Taeyang is the one who goes to him.
└└ Taeyang clearly prefers Haneul’s company. Mirae’s fans need to accept that their bias just isn’t as appealing.
└└ Can we not ship Taeyang with anyone? It’s getting really annoying.
[Did Haru get taller in this episode or am I imagining things?]
- No, you’re right! He definitely looks taller. How is that even possible?
└ He’s only seventeen. He’s probably still growing. And since he’s an Alpha, he’ll likely get even taller.
└└ Watch him end up as tall as Taeyang by the finale.
[Our Eunwoo really is such a good leader, isn’t he?]
- Honestly, yes. I hope he debuts and becomes the official leader of the group.
- It’s such a shame he’s a Beta though.
└ What does being a Beta have to do with anything? Since when were Alphas the only ones allowed to be good leaders?
└ I actually like him more because he’s a Beta. It’s refreshing.
[Which chaebol family do you think Jung Taeyang belongs to?]
- Is there even a Jung family among the big conglomerates in this country?
└ I don’t think so? Maybe he’s using a different last name.
└└ Why would he lie about his name?
└└└ Why wouldn’t he? Probably so people wouldn’t label him a nepo baby from the start.
- Does he have to be from a chaebol? Maybe his family is just regular rich.
└ Do regular rich kids not know how to ride a bus?
└└ Some probably don’t, right?
└└ Or maybe he’s just playing it up for the cameras. Trying to create a persona.
└└└ Taeyang doesn’t need to fake anything. His talent and face speak for themselves.
- What if he actually is from one of the major families? Didn’t Vnet partner with a new agency started by someone from the Lee family?
└ Can we stop with the theories? Do you really think someone from the Lee family would sign up to be an idol?
└└ Why not? Didn’t someone from that family start the agency? Why couldn’t a family member join as a trainee?
└└└ Owning a company and being an idol under that company are two completely different things.
└ Even if it’s true, so what? At least Taeyang can actually sing and dance. That’s more than you can say about some idols these days.
└└ Haha don’t drag them like that.
└└ So it’s better to have a rich kid who had everything handed to them than someone poor fighting for their dream?
└└└ Where did this rich vs poor argument even come from? All I’m saying is Taeyang is talented. Whatever his background is, he deserves to debut.
[I know people will come for me for this, but I actually ship Taeyang and Haneul. (>_<)]
- You’re not the only one. I ship them too. They look really cute together.
└ Like a cold Alpha and a sweet Omega. Perfect match.
└ We need a ship name for them.
└└ TaeNul? HaYang? Those sound kind of basic though.
└└ Taeyang means sun and Haneul means sky. How about Noeul? It’s the word for sunset, when the sun and sky meet.
└└└ Oh, that’s actually beautiful. Noeul it is!
└└└└ +1
.
.
.
└└└└ +98
- Ugh. I knew this was coming. Can you all just stop? This is so cringe.
└ Let them be. People like that are hopeless. Completely delusional.
└ This is exactly why I didn’t want all the genders mixed in one show.
- This is an idol survival program, not a dating show. Go watch Singles Hell if you want to ship people.
- Why do you keep pairing Taeyang with Kang Haneul? Are you a Haneul fan? Is your bias not good enough to stand on his own without being linked to Taeyang?
└ Excuse me? Haneul would be fine without Jung Taeyang. Have you actually heard him sing? Even if he doesn’t debut here, with that face and that voice, he’ll definitely make it as a singer somewhere.
└ I’m so tired of people always putting down Omegas. Is your precious Alpha really that amazing?

Haeun shook her head as she scrolled through all the online discourse. Like always, she clapped back at any comments about her brother that went too far. Especially the ones that were clearly from Park Mirae’s fans. She didn’t know why, but she really disliked that guy. It was weird because she was never the type to just judge people based on nothing. But Park Mirae gave her the heebie-jeebies. It didn’t help that his fans always seemed to attack Haneul for no reason.
After that, she posted a few praises for both her brother and Robin. Then she started clipping all the scenes Haneul appeared in from the episode. It had become her routine to post every bit of screentime her brother got. All her followers pretty much expected her to do it by now. Yes, followers.
Haeun looked at her X account page.
