Fantasy Football-Chapter 44: Agege RR Vs Dark Elites 3.
After getting Mystic’s signal, Lambert gave the cue, and Mojo crashed into an Agege RR player, went down hard, and began feigning pain, though the referee didn’t want to call it at first as he believed calling a foul for that kind of falling in street tournament was too light, so play continued for over two minutes with the Agege RR players knocking the ball around, but after realising that Mojo wasn’t getting up and he seems to be in pains, he eventually gave in and halted the match.
From the dugout, a pair of male medical attendants ran toward Mojo, they were part of the bot workers that Mystic had gotten from the system, clearly they were sitting with him as part of the coaching staff
While they moved in to check on Mojo, the rest of the Dark Elites players all started jugging toward Mystic, and this looked suspicious to the Agege RR players, who had expected at least a few Dark Elites players to stay back with Mojo who was clearly down, but none did.

Meanwhile, a few people in the crowd were wondering what the Dark Elites were actually doing, because since kickoff, they’d looked lost and outplayed.
On one side sat Don ID, who had been invited to share the top booth by the president of Agege RR, who used it to watch his team, when he heard that the Don of the Shomolu underground football scene wanted to see the match, he offered him a seat at the Top booth due to his status.
Now, though Don ID kept a smile on his face, he was fuming inside, and that was because the Agege RR president took every chance to poke at him about how his team was pressing the Dark Elites players.
‘What the hell are they doing? They play better than this,’ Don ID grimaced inwardly, angry at how slow they looked compared to how they performed in underground matches, and he started to feel a growing disappointment.
“You shouldn’t put too much stock in those clubs from the underworld scene, Don, because when it truly counts, if you strip away all that rough play they pride themselves on, they can’t compare to a real team.” the Agege RR president said.
Though he sounded humble, However; Don ID wasn’t slow to catch the intent behind his words, it was obvious the Agege RR president was mocking him and belittling the Dark Elites he’d come to support.
Though he would have flared up under normal circumstances, but he wasn’t in Shomolu, and this wasn’t his territory or sphere of influence, so he swallowed it, especially since the Dark Elites weren’t playing like a team that could win.
And he clearly wasn’t the only supporter starting to feel that way, and it was only the 30th minute. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺
The other two who’d come to back the Dark Elites were Old Man Alfred and Viper, who arrived with a few of his boys, because the club still didn’t have much of a fan base, Mystic had asked Viper for a favor: which is to show up with his boys and make some noise.
He knew it would be hard for his players to focus if all they heard were chants for Agege RR which was why he did that , he really didn’t care if the support was small, as he believed any support at all in an opponent stadium would be more than enough.
At that moment, Alfred, who was at the side just praying for a miracle, because the way the Dark Elites were being played around was pretty much a joke if they were trying to make a name in the street competition.

“Remember when I asked you all to play calmly and not get aggressive while I read their game and found a counter? All because I didn’t want you all making mistakes today,” Mystic began, asking a question that drew silent nods.
They’d been surprised that their coach, who usually told them to play their natural game, had asked them to hold back.
But as good soldiers, they accepted it, even if their display had been poor in front of such a large crowd.
“Well, congratulations, people, I called you here to say you don’t have to hold back anymore, you’re free to play your game the way you want, but this time, most of our balls will go through the right wing and the center,” Mystic continued.
“I’m telling you now: our key to victory and their weakness is in those two channels. Believe me, if you pressure their defense enough, they’ll cave.” He scanned each of his players until his eyes stopped on Oyebuchi.
“For this match, you’re the pivot that decides whether we win or not, for the rest of the first half, make sure our play funnels through the right side. But in the final five minutes, switch it to the center when they least expect it, especially once their attention is glued to the right.”
“But this can only be possible due to how chaotic your patterns are on the right Buchi as you’re the one i’m counting on to draw them, the more players you draw, the easier it is to seize the advantage before they realize what’s happening.” Mystic wrapped up, and most of the players nodded to show they understood.
As for Buchi who had just been named the pivot of the next set of attacks the pressure hit hard, but he had no choice except to face it head-on.
Because Mystic had already told him before that he wasn’t his first choice for the Right wing, and the only reason he was playing ahead of Apari was because Apari wasn’t ahead of him yet.
Now that he knew the coach was banking on him, he resolved to give everything he could as the Dark Elites players returned to the pitch looking more confident, with their purpose refocused.
Even Mojo stopped feigning pain and got to his feet as soon as he saw them coming back as the medical staff returned back to the dug-out.
“Pweehh!” The referee’s whistle signaled the restart, with Agege RR allowed to resume play from the ball.
