Fantasy Realm – Infinite Worlds Adventure-Chapter 270: Rishi’s Scheme, Tunnel Rats, Surprise!
Everyone stares at Rishi and Tereza with curious expressions, including Alex.
“Why have you brought him along?” Ben asks skeptically.
“I controlled him so he was seen today. It would be too suspicious if I didn’t do that. This way, people will just think that he has escaped… of course, only after Harry returns,” Rishi calmly explains.
“And it’s our job to make sure that he does,” Tereza says in a stern voice.
“Now that he was seen, he no longer serves any purpose…” Rishi begins to explain with a cold tone.
“Meaning?!” Stefanie asks, confused.
Alex sighs, knowing what Rishi’s planning to do. “Don’t do it here in front of the…” Alex tries to say, glancing at the younger players before getting interrupted by Rishi.
“I need to do it here. Otherwise, they might think he dropped something expensive, and I’m keeping it to myself. Also, they need to get used to what’s awaiting them in just a few hours!”
Rishi then coldly takes out a common knife, stabbing it into the Moody lookalike’s throat before pulling it out, causing blood to gush out.
While the body of the fake Moody twitches and makes sickening gurgling sounds, it still stands upright until it finally loses consciousness and collapses, obviously dead.
The corpse on the ground does not change back into the form of Barty Crouch Jr, but remains as is. His body, now doomed to never revert back into his original appearance again.
Rishi picks up the corpse while Tereza casts Aguamenti, conjuring a strong stream of water—almost like a pressure-cleaning device, reminding Alex of the time he played PowerWash Simulator—to clean up the blood.
“That shit’s scary! He just silently took it,” Alex comments.
“This is kinda freaking me out. You’re a cold motherfucker,” one of the soldiers screams.
The male youths are shaking but now wide awake.
“Not so sure about that number, Alex. I’d rather take yours instead, that one’s too weird for me, regardless of his wealth,” one of the female youths responds, seemingly a bit more mature than their male counterparts.
“I’m sorry for this rather revolting display,” Rishi comments with a calm smile. “However, I think it couldn’t hurt to make you aware that things are serious now. There is no room for error!”
“You’re right, Rishi. Anyway, guys, calm down. It’s still a bit of time until the task starts. Only when Harry enters will we enter the maze as well, to minimize the chances of getting detected.”
Tereza flies into the air, hovering just high enough to see into the distance. Her increased SNS enhances her vision and hearing to the limit, allowing her to observe from a safe distance.
The wait is excruciatingly long, but finally, Alex and the others hear some cheering in the distance as Tereza descends and walks toward the tunnel.
“It’s go time! Let’s do this!” Alex says as he follows Tereza with Jewel on his head, quickly entering the tunnel.
“Lumos!” Tereza chants with determination, a bright glowing orb of light appearing at the tip of her wand.
“Gotta compliment your soldiers, Ben. This tunnel is really nice!” Alex notes as they quickly make their way through the tunnel.
“Hehe, with our stats, this is child’s play!” Ben brags, obviously used to tasks like these.
The group only needs a few minutes to exit the tunnel. As soon as they leave it, they’ll collapse the tunnel, doing their best to hide its existence.
The Triwizard Cup, in all its beauty, is just before their eyes. They’ll slowly sit down next to it, waiting for Harry to arrive.
“I trust the boy, but what do we do if he isn’t the first to arrive?”
“Harry will be the first—trust me, after all the training we did. But if he isn’t…” Alex says, and Tereza takes out a certain cloak, putting it on and causing her body to immediately become invisible.
“If anyone else, by some miracle, approaches us first, that person will get fed with a stunner,” Alex states.
After a painfully long wait, nobody has yet arrived. Alex takes out his [Destiny Watch], noting that only 14 minutes have passed.
Don’t tell me… he’ll fail. No way! Even the canon version of him made it!
Finally, Harry arrives, and everyone smiles at him, obviously relieved.
“This is weird, but it’s good to see you. The others are still far away, and I’ve also knocked out Krum!” he says.
“Nice! Harry… are you sure you can do it?” Alex asks, despite his visible confidence.
“Yes! I’ll do it for my parents!” Harry says with a prideful expression.
“Engorgio!” Harry screams, and the cup grows in size.
“Everything has gone according to plan. Now, remember that the fake Moody has rigged the Portkey. It should teleport us quite a distance away from the intended target, Little Hangleton Graveyard. I hope you’re ready—let’s do this!” Alex announces.
Every player nods at each other, Alex staring at his allies. “Don’t fuck this up. We do it on three. 1… 2… 3—NOW!” Alex screams.
As soon as the players, Jewel, and Harry make contact with the Cup, they’re immediately transported to an unknown location.
I’ve experienced this before, but this is still stupid. I need to focus as soon as we arrive at our target.
It takes the players only a few seconds to arrive at their destination.
As soon as Alex regains his senses, he notices the eerie, dark atmosphere of Little Hangleton Graveyard. He looks around and sighs in relief.
“CAREFUL! This is not our intended location! We should be outside the graveyard! Plan B!” Rishi screams, something Alex has never seen him do before.
FUCK! JEWEL, GET OFF ME AND PLAN AN AMBUSH!
Yes, Dearest Soulmate. Princess Jewel will ambush the pathetic Peasants.
Alex sees Jewel barely making it twenty meters when suddenly the Triwizard Cup flies toward a gravestone, and a round shield of energy surrounds them.
“Good evening, my foreign guests—I see you’ve realized that something’s wrong right away. I’m quite impressed, though it’s not unexpected, considering one of you speaks the noble tongue of the snakes, much like myself,” a cold but amused voice speaks. A man appears on a nearby hill, behind a large grave.
“Voldemort!” one of the youths screams in shock.
“You dare use this Lord’s name without honorifics! I’ll forgive you just once,” he says with a hateful expression, the youth nearly pissing himself.
“Lord… please let us kill them now! We can’t risk anything going wrong. They’re sneaky and full of surprises,” Mayoi, her face filled with fear-inducing malice, says, desperately trying to sound polite.
“FUCK THESE ASSHOLES! THEY KILLED ERICA! LET’S KILL THEM NOW!” another angry woman screams.
“SILENCE! Wormtail… keep our allies at bay. I am not done talking with our guests…” Voldemort says, his voice commanding and slightly annoyed.
Thankfully, this guy is a total drama queen and idiot. I can’t believe he’s really one of the villains who has to talk and explain his plan before doing anything. Unbelievable.
“Why are you alive… Lord Voldemort?” Rishi asks, looking shocked.
Let me do a quick count. 17 and Harry… all according to our emergency plan. Rishi is baiting this guy into talking!
“Lord Voldemort is immortal! I had a minor setback, but thankfully, my new servants have provided me with a drop of my mortal enemy’s blood, giving me the opportunity to grace this country again with my noble presence.”
“Noble presence, my ass. Bitch, this freak is ugly as fuck,” Ben curses.
“YOU KILLED MY PARENTS! I WILL AVENGE THEM TODAY!” Harry screams loudly.
“Ah… Harry Potter, the boy who lived… not much longer, that much is for certain. For the others, I graciously offer a single and final way out. Serve me… or die!” Voldemort coldly declares.
“You know what? I’ll enjoy killing you and your pathetic new servants, as well as your old, worthless Death Eaters. Especially you, Lucius. I’ll owe you one, and when I’m done with you, I’ll be taking care of your son and wife as well,” Alex says in a smug tone, taunting them.
“You should have been dealt with by the mighty Lord Drakul himself. Useless goblins managed to get tricked, huh? Don’t think you’ll manage to escape. This time, you’re in front of a real Lord,” Lucius angrily replies.
“Escaped?! I killed that pathetic Vampire Lord and took him for everything he’s got,” Alex brags, arrogantly displaying his necklace [Drakul’s Vitality], a Deep Gold-ranked item.
The Death Eaters, players, and even Lord Voldemort stare with curiosity and greed toward Alex.
“I’ll give you one more chance. I can use wizards like you, my friend. You won’t regret joining me,” Lord Voldemort responds.
“I am sorry, but none of you will survive. I’ll only serve myself! However, since you’ve been such a kind host, Lord Voldemort, let me return the favor by offering you some advice: You should only surround yourselves with servants who actually know how to count!”
“What useless advice. Servants are not there to think, merely to obey orders… Goodbye, then. You can die together with the boy!”
The Death Eaters ready their wands, and every player draws their weapon as the shield separating the groups slowly weakens and is about to collapse.
Alex, however, hears a bunch of weird sounds, like metallic objects dropping from the sky.
Hehe, I hope you’ll enjoy my gift to you!
“It’s time… wait for the sign!” Alex screams, everyone immediately looking relieved as they hear Alex’s command.
Suddenly, 10 loud explosions surround them, the shield blocking any shrapnel flying toward the players before finally collapsing.
