Fate Online: Shadow-Chapter 486 Blackskull Again

"Get him! Don't let him run away!"

"Shit!"

On a forest trail located on the edge of Central City. A lone man is currently being chased by a group of people armed with bats and steel pipes.

"Bloody heck! Why now of all times!?" Michael was exasperated at his current predicament. 𝙛𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝓮𝒃𝓷𝓸𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝒄𝓸𝓶

He was just out for his usual jogging before sunset and just when he reached the trail he usually passed through, a group of armed people suddenly walked out from the treeline on both sides of the forest trail and started chasing after him.

Michael had failed to notice anything unusual since he was immersed in the world of music through his headphones.

"Why are you people coming after me?!" Michael yelled while running, and the few people they met along the trail quickly got out of their way when they saw the group of armed people heading in their direction.

"Should we call the police?"

"Shh, later when they're gone"

Some of the people were kind enough to call the police after they were gone and Michael would be immensely grateful for it.

"Blackskull does not forget any grudges! No matter where you escape, we will chase you to the ends of the Earth!" one of the goons leading the charge yelled in reply while wearing a manic smile on his face.

When the words "Blackskull" registered in his mind, Michael's anger immediately reached its peak as he didn't expect that the people he had taught a lesson multiple times still had the audacity to face him after suffering multiple losses against him.

"So now you're trying to kill me in broad daylight huh?! How brave of you! This isn't over Blackskull!" Michael finally got out of the forest trail and arrived back to civilization, where he successfully fled from them thanks to the busy streets, but not after flipping them off as he disappeared into an alley.

Bang!

"F******CK!!! How did you freaking lose him?!"

Standing before an empty alleyway, the person leading the group was so angry that he smashed the steel pipe he was holding on the ground and grabbed one of the goons by the neck of his shirt, startling the civilians who had kept their distance from them and was warily watching them from afar. There were also police officers who had just arrived and were slowly making their way over towards them.

"Sir, you were also running with us"

The man just ignored the cops but he was immediately dumbfounded by what one of his men said and the rest acted like they didn't hear anything as their eyes started becoming dodgy.

"ARRGHHH! Find him, now!"

One of the men stiffly raised a hand, and the leader immediately noticed it, pointed at him, and yelled, "Yes, you! Do you have anything to say?!"

"Sir, we already have his address, shouldn't we just go directly to his house?!"

The others were also in silent agreement since they had been wondering why they needed to look for Michael outside when they could just find him in his own home.

"Did you think we're idiots and haven't thought of that?" The leader had more things to say but when he saw that the officers were almost near them, he quickly added, "Just know that it is not plausible. Loen, dispatch more men for surveillance at his neighborhood community and send another squad to be on stand-by"

"Got it" the man named Loen replied.

"I'll handle the cops, everyone dispersed" the leader continued and immediately made his way towards the cops with a huge smile on his face while the rest of his men immediately scattered in all directions like cockroaches!

"Hey! Get back here!"

"Officers! What seems to be the problem?" the leader said in a bright tone as he walked over towards the cops.

"It's you and your goons again, Norbert! We received a report that you were chasing after a man just now" said the younger dark-skinned officer.

Norbert just smiled at the officer and said, "Oh come on officer, no one got hurt. We were just playing around"

"A group of armed men chasing a lone man? I don't think so" replied the young officer.

Norbert just kept smiling as he was already used to dealing with cops, "But no one got hurt officer"

"You can explain it at the station"

"Enough, just leave Norbert"

The young officer started to take off his cuffs as he wanted to bring them back to the station for questioning, but his partner immediately cut him off.

"Have a good day officers!" Norbert alongside one of his goons hastily left the scene with victorious smiles on their faces, especially the former as he liked teasing hot-blooded rookies who are eager to make some achievements.

"Sir!"

"Settle down rookie. As he mentioned earlier, no one got hurt. So we can't really detain them, and besides they're people from Blackskull, it's best not to mess with them unless we have a more solid cause to arrest them, that's my advice to you if want to live here peacefully. You better heed my words since you're not a local" His partner advised while the two made their way towards their cruiser.

"And even if we had arrested them earlier, they'll just gonna get released since they really didn't do anything other than cause a ruckus, unless the person they were trying to catch earlier shows up at the station and lodges a complaint against them for threatening his life," the older cop said with some smugness on his face like he was some kind an elder giving life lessons to a much younger guy.

But an hour later, a handsome young man in a windbreaker walked through those doors at the police station.

"Good day officer! I want to lodge a complaint against someone called Norbert of the Blackskull" Michael said with a beautiful smile on his face towards the female officer behind the desk.

The two officers from earlier were just coming back to the station when they heard those words, both of them halted in their tracks and looked at each other.

"Seems like we'll be seeing Norbert soon sir," the rookie said with a chuckle and continued inside towards where Michael was.

The senior officer just smiled and chuckled mysteriously, especially when he recognized who Michael was "Seems like Norbert won't be having good days ahead of him"
