"Honey! I’m home!" Jen called, walking in to the sitting room, kicking the door shut behind her, her hands very occupied with grocery bags of different sizes.

After some seconds of juggling, she finally made it to the dinning table, dropping all the bags on it.

Sighing, she took a deep breath, stopping midair as she registered the foreign scents that lingered in the air surrounding her.

Just then, Bethany made it to the bottom of the stairs, her countenance very low.

"Honey." Jen called lightly, accepting her daughter’s half hearted hug. "Did you have any visitors? I’m picking up foreign scents." Jen pointed out.

"Uhh.." Beth stuttered alittle, her eyes scanning the room to see if anything was out of place. "Yeah, I did. They came around to talk about the heat thing." She said quietly. "It’s not been so long since they left."

"Mm, I can see." Jen said nodding. "Are you okay, though? You look sad." Jen observed, her hand raising Bethany’s chin so she could look directly at her.

When Bethany didn’t respond, she carried on talking. "Did they not agree? Did they do something?" She asked again, abit of urgency in her voice, but Bethany still wasn’t talking.

"Honey, please say something. I’m this close to calling your father."

On hearing her mom’s resolution, she immediately knew she had to say something.

Her mom was just like her. Always overthinking and sometimes over acting. But her mom was a bit bipolar and she was not.

Bethany’s lips parted in her attempt to explain herself, but shut again when she realized there were no easy ways to explain her predicament.

How could she explain to her mother that she craved them, the way one would crave ice cream, but in a much stronger form.

How could she explain that she wanted to be kissed and fucked to oblivion by her Alpha mates without making everything awkward.

Sighing, she picked one of the grocery bags and begun taking out the things inside, placing them on the table.

"Bethany -"

"I just miss them, Mom. I don’t know how to process everything but I know I miss them. It’s saddening and a bit suffocating." She said quietly.

Jen was short of words, definitely not expecting that reply. She didn’t know how to respond either, but since she asked the question, she had to come up with a reply, fast.

"I’m so sorry, love." She said softly, rubbing her palm against Bethany’s back. "I’m really sorry."

"It’s okay, Mum. It will pass. Besides, I’d be seeing them next week, one after the other, and then a day with the three of them. Starting tomorrow." Beth said shrugging.

"But tomorrow seems too far, doesn’t it?" Jen asked, even though she couldn’t relate, since as soon as she found her mate, they moved in together almost immediately, but she could understand, given the fact that her mate was hardly ever around, except during his free days.

"Yes." Bethany groaned sadly. "I just wish I could be with them, right now. But they are soon to be Alphas, they have tons of things to do. They are responsible for a lot of people." She said, putting somethings in the refrigerator.

"Well, my love." Jen said, her fingers massaging her daughter’s shoulders. Something her mom always did when she was little. It always helped her, so she hoped it could help her daughter too.

"You are going to be Luna soon. Not just any Luna. You’re going to be Luna to three very powerful Alphas and the Luna of the largest pack in the entire werewolf race. You have to be strong, for yourself, your mates, your pups and your people." Jen said softly.

"You have no idea how proud I am of you. I’m proud of how well you handled this whole ’three mates thing’, how well you’ve handled them and the situation till now. It takes a really wise and disciplined lady to do all you’ve done. All I’m saying is, you are strong, you are brave, Bethany. You are special. You can do this. Just hold on there for them, okay?"

"Okay." Beth replied quietly, tears clouding her eyes, blinding her vision.

"Oh, my baby. Come here." Jen said, pulling her daughter in for a hug, tears of her own filling her eyes lids. "It will be okay. I’ve got you. I and your father. Okay?"

Sniffing in the liquid that threatened to pour from her nostrils, she nodded against her mother’s chest, hugging her closer.

She was going to be fine.

Only a few hours more, and she’d be in their arms again.

At the pack house.

"Something’s wrong with her." Theo pointed out, his hand massaging his chest in a quest to ease the tension that had built up in his chest.

"Yeah. I think she’s crying." Troy said arranging necessary documents they were going to need later, an unmistakable crease of worry on his forehead.

He wasn’t happy.

None of them were. They itched to go back to her house to find out what was wrong, but knew they couldn’t.

"You’d have her tomorrow right?" Tristan asked Troy, an edge to his voice.

"Yeah." Troy said, his eyes leaving the documents to Tristan’s.

"I suggest you get there early. The longing and hunger in her heart would turn to depression the longer we stay away from her. So the earlier, the better." He advised, plainly.

"I understand." Troy said, giving his brother a soft look, turning his eyes back to the papers.

His eyes subconsciously going to the watch on his wrist. Time wasn’t moving as long as he wanted at all, and it was pissing him off.

"Alright. We move in five." Tristan said, getting off the phone with their pilot.

"Do you think she’d be fine?" Theo asked, worry in his tone. She seems so sad." His hands still massaging his chest.

"She’d be fine, Theo. If you worry too much, you’d channel that to her as well. Have faith in her. Probably, our positivity might be channeled to her as well." Tristan advised, his hand on his brother’s shoulder.

"C’mon guys, let’s roll."
