Fated to the Alpha's Sons: An Omegas Rise to Fame-Chapter 83: Falling in Love.
Chapter 83: Falling in Love.
In less than fifteen minutes, Bethany was dressed and bouncing on her feet.
Today, she decided to wear a black flowery sundress and a pair of black sandals, packing her hair the same way she had done the day before, but this time she added a bit of product to the pieces she’d left to frame her face, causing them to curl perfectly, without any spilt ends in view.
She put on a thin golden necklace, pairing it with a pair of golden butterfly earrings. She stared at the anklets in the drawer beside the necklaces, contemplating putting on any of them.
Deciding to try it out, she picked out a golden one sitting on a small stool as she put it on.
She couldn’t help but smile as she assessed it in the mirror. It looked absolutely gorgeous on her ankle. It made her feel very petite and confident.
Satisfied, she stood up from the stool, going to stand before a full length mirror, twirling to all sides as she assessed her appearance. She looked breathtaking.
Spritzing a bit of perfume on herself, she picked a black and gold designer bag, heading back into her bedroom.
She stuffed her phone, ID, small purse and some scented tissues her Mom had insisted she carried into the bag, giving it the perfect weight as she hung it over her shoulders.
With that, she burst out of the room , down the hallway and into the sitting room, exhaling when she got there and couldn’t spot Theodore.
’She had finished first.’ She thought, smiling to herself. She told him she was going to.
She heard his door opened and close, the scent of his masculine perfume preceding him.
"Mmm, someone kept to their word." He teased as he walked into the sitting room, his eyes on his golden wristwatch as he put it on.
Bethany’s eyes locked on his mind numbing appearance, taking in every fucking detail. How sharp the pressed line on his pants was, how perfect his belt sat on his waist line, how well his perfectly ironed shirt stuck to his upper arm, torso, chest.
His first three buttons where undone, allowing her to peek at the portion of his chest that was left on display.
She looked up at him to see he was checking her out as well with dark eyes. As if on cue, his eyes met hers and suddenly it felt like time had stopped for a moment as they basked in each other’s gaze, the air around them thickening with sexual tension.
"You look breathtaking, Princess." He said, his eyes not leaving hers as he rolled up his sleeves to his elbows, exposing his extremely veiny forearms, admiration shining in his eyes.
"Thank you. You don’t like bad yourself." She said, smiling softly with reddened cheeks.
"I don’t look bad eh?" He asked with arced eyebrows, taking slow steps towards her.
"Mmhm." She responded, standing stiffly, struggling to keep her face void of the emotions that coursed through her due to their increasing proximity.
"Well, we’d see what the women at your chocolate fountain would have to say." He bellowed, planting a kiss on her forehead.
"Is that supposed to be a threat?" She asked, healthy blend of confusion and amusement in her tone.
"Well, Mate. Which do you think it is?" He asked, with his eyes on her lips for a moment, before he stepped back, taking a deep breath.
He was finding it really hard controlling his feelings at the moment. She looked and smelled so edible he wanted nothing more than to be stripped of his cloths and in her arms in his bed, speaking about everything and nothing.
"I think it’s a threat." She said, folding her arms across her chest.
"No, Princess. It’s a joke. I could never threaten you with something like that." He said, taking her hand in his, pulling her to the door.
"Better, ’cause if they so much as look at you, I’d make sure they loose some fucking limbs." She snarled, her tone slightly icy.
"Mmm, protective much?" He teased as he looked at her with pride.
"I might have three, but I don’t share." Was all she said and that did it for Theo.
Every piece of his heart was wrapped with that statement, wrapped with her confession of...
"Are you saying you are falling in love with us?" Theo asked causing her to stiffen beside him, her heart thundering in her chest.
Luckily the elevator pinged and opened before them, causing them to walk out, giving others the chance to go in.
Theo led them to his private garage and they got into his vehicle, silence surrounding them, while Beth’s mind raced with questions.
Was she too forward? Did she scare him?
Honestly she hadn’t thought before spewing those words, they just came from a very defensive side of her she didn’t even know still existed.
Now she had to tell him if she was falling in love with them.
She could say yes and get it over with, but she wasn’t even sure she loved them that much yet. Mate bond comes with heavy feelings of attraction and perfection, but not love, sadly.
And she could just say no, but that might end really bad and sour up the mood. Hell, her quietness was souring the mood single handedly.
She really didn’t know what to do.
’What if you just come clean.’ Maria suggested, yawning. ’Just say you’re not sure yet, that you were just jealous.’
’That could work but what if he takes it the wrong way. I know they are really into me and all, if I say that, it would hurt him.’
’But then that would be the truth. He deserves nothing less than that.’ Maria admonished.
"You know you don’t have to say yes right?" Theo asked, taking her hand in his.
She looked up to him, her mouth opened, but her words weren’t forth coming.
Swallowing the lump that had formed in her throat, she prepared herself to speak.
"Princess -"
"I don’t know." She said, cutting his words off. "I don’t know if I’m in love with you guys yet."
