FLASH MARRIAGE; CHARMED BY THE RUTHLESS BILLIONAIRE CEO-Chapter 200: High Expectations 1
Blaze let out a frustrated sigh without giving his mom a reply. He massaged his throbbing head, yawning a second time, while cracking his stiff neck.
"You look tired, son. You need to rest." Maria said after observing him silently for a while.
"No, I'm fine. I can manage." Blaze replied, standing up and moving around the room to awaken his tired body.
"You know you are human, right? Every human needs their rest. If you keep pushing yourself this way, you will break down." Maria persisted softly, not wanting to push too hard.
"I don't want to leave her side again," Blaze explained patiently. "If I go home, I won't be able to rest knowing she is here and anything can happen just like before."
"Who said anything about going home?" Maria asked, knowing her son would not leave his wife's presence again. She gestured at the double-seater couch behind him.
"You can lie down over there while I sit here. Three hours or more nap will do you a lot of good. The doctor said Amelia will be asleep for at least six or seven hours. Take that time to rest too. Please."
"Fine." Blaze walked over to his mother and bent over in front of her. He kisses her on the forehead, saying. "Thanks, mom. You're the best."
"You too, my darling." Maria watched her son stroll over to the couch and lie down. She watched him slowly close his eyes, an enchanting smile framing his lips. Her shimmering eyes fell on his phone and car keys on the table in front of him.
'What if someone like that tramp tries to disturb him with a phone call?' Maria thought briefly.
Without giving it much thought, she stood up and quietly strolled over to the table. She picked up his phone and switched it off before returning to her seat beside Amelia's bed.
After watching her two children sleep for a while, Maria decided to also rest her head.

The Bloom & Berry cafe, - located on the first floor of the Duchess building, across the street from the city general hospital - was renowned for its exquisite homemade baked pastries and unique brand of coffee. In addition to their tasty menu was the magnificent view of the busy street through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
After leaving the hospital with high expectations of Blaze's call, Tina decided to take a table at the Bloom & Berry cafe, to wait for him.
Knowing Blaze and his bad temper, Tina believed he would be leaving the hospital within a short while to look for a place to cool off. If that happened, she wanted to be physically and emotionally available for him to talk to.
Seated on a table close to the floor-to-ceiling window, Tina took in a deep breath, the unmistakable aroma of freshly baked apples and pie crust wafting through the air, tickling her senses.
A bubbly waitress came down to her table, smiling politely as she said.
"Good day Juujuuma'am and welcome to the Bloom & Berry Cafe? May I please take your order?"
"Sure." Tina picked up the menu on the table and slowly browsed through it as if she were reading a fashion magazine making the waitress wait unnecessarily.
"I'll have some of your delicious apple pie, some chocolate cookies and a cup of coffee with cream."
"Yes ma'am."
The waitress was about to leave with Tina's order when the latter called her back and said.
"Please make that order two. The other cup of coffee should be black with no cream or sugar."
"Will that be all ma'am?" The waitress asked, her smile already diminishing. "I would like some muffins and bagels as a takeaway."
"Very well ma'am. I'll be back with your order."
As the waitress left Tina's table, she picked up her phone and scanned through for any missed calls or text messages. Her forehead furrowed slightly when she found none. She checked the time on her phone and observed that it had already been forty-five minutes since the last encounter with Blaze.
"He should be done with his mom by now. What the hell is taking him so long to call?" Tina hissed. She put a call across to Remy and spoke to him for a while.
Afterwards, she spoke to Joanna updating her with the recent development of her mission while keeping the part of Amelia's pregnancy away from her.
The meal arrived in no time but she decided not to eat until her anticipated guest arrived. She kept her gaze on the window, watching different people go in and come out of the hospital from across the street. She was hoping to spot Blaze coming out of the hospital building in any second.
"Ahem."
Someone cleared his throat, making Tina turn her head sharply, only to see a young and averagely handsome man standing beside her table, a friendly smile framing his round face.
Tina didn't know when he came up to her or why he was smiling at her, as she sized him from head to toe.
Cladded in a plain blue cheap-looking long-sleeve shirt with black pants and a black striped tie hanging down his neck, he resembled a clerical officer who just relocated from the countryside to work in the big city.
"May I help you?" Tina asked, sarcastically, her pretty face contoured in disgust.

"I'm Dr Reich. I recognize you from a movie I've watched. you're an actor right?"
"Are you here for an autograph?" Tina scoffed, replying his question with a question.
"Oh no. I saw you not quite long after leaving the hospital. You seemed a bit flustered."
"And how is that any of your bloody business?" Tina bared her claws like an angry kitten, ready to scratch his face.
"Easy. I'm not here to make trouble. I think you are very beautiful and I was wondering if I could join you, and get to know you better." The doctor said nervously.
"Join me?" Tina let out a throaty laugh that made the man more nervous than he already was.
