FLASH MARRIAGE; CHARMED BY THE RUTHLESS BILLIONAIRE CEO-Chapter 206: Unscheduled Appointment
At the Andex Group International, Blaze was seated with a comfortable ease, his body relaxed and unhurried. His face was calm and unruffled, with a slight smile framing it. His long legs were crossed, one over the other like a hot male model striking a pose. One of his arms was casually resting on the armrest while the other held up a document he was verifying.
"This will do." Blaze finally spoke up after three minutes of deafening silence. "infirm the engineers to report at the field. I want operations to commence immediately.
"Yes Sir." Marcus took notes on his iPad.
"I also need you to send the budget to the finance department. I want funds released immediately. I'll be sending some of our investors to the project sight on Friday. So we cannot delay the drilling process."
"Consider it done, sir."
"I'm counting on you. You will be my eyes and ears all through the execution of the project until my wife fully recovers."
"You have nothing to worry about, sir. I will deliver."
Marcus watched his boss in silence as the latter scribbled down his signature on the document he was reading earlier alongside other documents neatly stacked on his luxury executive desk.
Marcus could hardly believe that the man seated opposite him was the cold and dangerously intimidating Blaze Anderson.
He seemed a different man today; cheerful, full of life, smiling, and radiating happiness.
'What happened to the boss, Marcus pondered, intrigued by his boss's happiness. 'Could this be the handiwork of the boss's wife?'
The intercom on the desk rang out cutting into Marcus thought.
Blaze picked up the receiver without peeling his gaze from the document he was signing.
"I'm listening."
"Good day, sir. I'm sorry to disturb you, sir. You have an awaiting call on line two from the receptionist desk." Blaze's secretary's voice trembled from the other end as she spoke.
"What is it about?"
"A visiting guest with no formal appointment, claiming to be your friend, sir."
Blaze paused what he was doing, looking up. "Who is this so-called friend?" He asked, a frown etching across his face.
"She introduced herself as Miss Tina Steven, sir and according to Miss Lara, she is making a spectacle downstairs insisting we call you."
Blaze's expression slowly turned cold, his grip tightening around the phone handle. He recalled apologizing to Tina for the way his mum treated her, in the text message he sent her two days ago. He also remembered informing her to give him and Amelia some space for the time being. Could it be that she didn't get the message or she was too blind to read the writings on the wall?
Leaning back on his seat, he paused briefly before deciding.
"Send her up to my office." He dropped the receiver, with a loud bang causing Marcus to jerk in shock.
Marcus shifted uneasily on his seat as he watched Blaze's pleasant countenance turn sour. He made a wild guess about who this so-called friend was and what this person wanted from his boss.
"Sir, if you do not want to see this fellow, I could take care of him." Marcus offered choosing his words carefully to avoid upsetting his boss any further.
Blaze chuckled grimly, his gaze sharp, cold and lethal.

"It's a she and you don't have to worry about her. I'll take care of her myself." He said and resumed his earlier activity.
Marcus didn't bother asking any further as he knew who this she was. He couldn't understand why Tina was persistent in getting a man who detested her when there were thousands of men out there who would do anything to have her.
'What a shame.' Marcus shook his head, sighing inwardly.
"Here..." Blaze neatly put his ball pen aside. "Get to work and drop this folder with my secretary on your way out." He pushed the signed document and folder towards Marcus.
"Yes, sir."

Meanwhile, in the reception waiting room, Tina was no longer raining insults on the slightly agitated receptionist. She had been pacified and was currently seated all by herself, waiting patiently for the receptionist to give her some good news.
She had tried severally to contact Blaze. But it seemed he had somehow barred her line from reaching him after he sent that apology text message which wasn't enough for the hassle she went through just for him.
All she needed was just one moment alone with him without his annoying mother or his tramp of a wife interfering.
Today, she hoped to plant the first seed of mistrust in Blaze's heart. She had a strong feeling that Amelia was yet to mention her pregnancy to him and she hoped to leverage this opportunity to sell herself as a more trustworthy friend and potential lover.
Dressed to kill, in a vibrant billowy sleeve button-down yellow jumpsuit with a deep V-neck that flaunted her sexy cleavage and a golden pendant hanging down her slim neck, it would take only a blind and sterile man not to notice her or lust over her.
While patiently waiting, she browsed through her Instagram page, a hypnotic smile spread across her face at the recent trending video of herself during a celebrity magazine photoshoot.
Although her phone had been buzzing with a lot of calls from different brand influencers, entertainment gossip magazines and even successful top shots - who wanted to date her, she damned all of this for the chance to reunite with the only man she truly loves. And if it takes playing dirty to get what she wanted she would do it again and again without blinking.
If she could get Blaze into her pants, then taking him from Amelia would be like taking candy from a child.
The sharp clicking sound of an approaching pair of heels against the polished marble floor, caused Tina to look up from her phone. Her sharp and beaming gaze fell on Lara, the pretty young receptionist who had now been humbled by her higher superior for daring to roll her eyes at her.
"Any luck with reaching him?" Tina asked sarcastically as though she was the boss in charge
"Yes, ma'am. Mr Anderson will see you now." The receptionist replies politely, plastering a smile on her face.
"Really!" Tina's eyes lit up in excitement, making the receptionist raise her brow. "I mean, yeah. Good one" She gracefully stood up, picking up her designer blue handbag which complimented her sleek blue stiletto heels.
"Lead the way."
"Sure, ma'am."
The receptionist turned around and headed for the elevator with Tina following closely behind her while commanding a lot of attention and admiration to herself.
"The boss's office is on the..."
"Last floor." Tina completed the receptionist's sentence proudly. "This isn't my first time here like I said earlier. I know my way around."
"Very well, ma'am. Please keep your visitor's tag on at all times." The receptionist pressed the elevator call button, maintaining her polite smile while smiling an indirect message across to Tina.
"I will remember that," Tina said and walked into the elevator as the door slid open. "You can go back to your work now. Let me take it from here."
"Yes, ma'am." The smile on the receptionist's face disappeared as the elevator door slid shot. "Arrogant b*tch." She cursed under her breath before returning to her front desk.
