FLASH MARRIAGE; CHARMED BY THE RUTHLESS BILLIONAIRE CEO-Chapter 362: Peace of Mind
Chapter 362: Peace of Mind
It was another magical morning on the island, just like every other day.
The rising sun bathed the beach in its soft, warm light, casting long shadows and creating a beautiful, serene ambience.
The air was crisp and cool, carrying the fresh scent of the salty ocean.
The wave was low, with a crested edge that barely breaks into foam. Its soft, rhythmic pulse as the water casually lapped against the sand, created a soothing sound like a friendly caress.
Amelia stood by the edge of the ocean shore, draped in a long white sleeveless nightwear.
Her eyes were closed, with a hypnotic smile framing her face.
Her arms were slightly spread out as she bathed in the warm glow of the rising sun and the cold sensation of the salty water beneath her bare feet.
The gentle ocean breeze – a soft, warm caress – ruffled her long, cascading golden brown locks, teasing across her face and creating a dynamic frame around her tranquil expression.
"Snuck out of bed again, Mrs Anderson." Blaze’s deep, husky, and warm voice broke through the tranquil atmosphere around Amelia.
She giggled opening her eyes as his arms weapped around her from behind, pulling her to his warm embrace. Her body stiffened a little due to his sensual touch and his warm breath against her neck.
But after a few seconds, she relaxed, melting like butter into his arms.
"How do you manage to always sneak up on me like a ghost?"
"Maybe I’m a ghost." Blaze tickled her on the side making her laugh out loud.
"Good morning my love."
"Good morning, my angel." Blaze nuzzled her tenderly on the neck, filling his nostrils with her natural scent.
"You look absolutely radiant and beautiful, just like every single day."
Amelia giggled. "Thank you, sweetie."
"Did you sleep well?"
"Like a baby, thanks to you," Amelia said stroking his arms around her.
"That’s good to know. Although, the bed felt so cold and lonely without you by my side when I woke up."
"I was only out for a few minutes," Amelia said, reaching for his sleek hair, while tilting her head sideways to look at him.
"Thirty minutes to be precise."
"Huh..." Amelia paused her action. She slowly turned around to face him, her gaze suspicious.
"Does that mean you were already awake when I left the room?" She asked wrapping her arms around his neck and staring into his magical gray eyes.
"What do you think?" Blaze brushed his lips on the tip of her nose making her giggle even more. "That you would leave my side and I wouldn’t notice."
"If you were awake, then why didn’t you try to stop me?" Amelia raised a brow.
"From the way you make so much effort not to wake me up every time you sneak out of bed, I knew you wanted this few minutes alone. So I pretended to be asleep even though it felt like torture watching you leave. But I did follow you quietly and watched you from afar. You were looking even more radiant than rising sun. I couldn’t take my eyes off you for even a second."
"Aww!" Amelia’s eyes glimmered with so much affection, and her cheeks gave off a soft pinkish-red glow.
It had just been a few days on the island with her husband, and she was already glowing like a blooming flower. freewёbnoνel-com
"You are so sweet, and I love you so much, darling."
"Not as much as I love you, honey bun." Blaze softly and teasingly claimed her lips in a passionate kiss that completely stole her breath away.
When they both broke apart to catch their breath, Amelia whispered, exhaling. "Every day with you feels like an eternity."
"And every second I spend in your arms makes me feel reborn," Blaze replied softly, lifting her into his arm and kissing her again.
"How about a warm bath and breakfast in bed? Afterwards, I could give you a thorough massage and read your favourite romance novel to you. Later on, we could go for a yacht ride when the sun goes down."
Amelia couldn’t help blushing even harder as she recalled how Blaze had taken it upon himself to bathe her like a baby every single day, alongside other intimate activities to keep her from thinking.
"You are over-pampering me, dear husband. At this rate, I’ll get so spoilt and lazy."
"Only a queen like you deserves to be pampered, and I am so honoured to be the lucky man at your service for life."
"Aww!" Amelia’s cheeks began to hurt from over blushing. "I love you so much."
"And I love you even more."
Blaze nuzzled her on the cheek, her laughter trailing behind as they headed toward the only massive beach house on the entire Island.

After spending quality time, pampering his wife, Blaze exited their bedroom when she fell asleep. He stopped briefly at the lounge to chat with his mother before leaving to take an urgent call.
"What do you have for me?" Blaze listened to Echo’s report. His steely and cold expression was devoid of any humanity as he dished out more instructions.
"Initiate the next phase. I want those animals tearing themselves apart before the surprise package."
"Yes, sir."
Blaze disconnected the call. He contacted Henry and Marcus next before returning to the beach house to check on his wife.

Back at Salvine City, Matt awoke to a head-splitting headache and a sour taste in his mouth.
He groaned, his entire body aching from so much pain as he slowly turned, lying on his back.
"Where the f*ck am I?" He scanned his environment, unsure of where he was or why it felt like he had been run over by a truck.
As the dark-themed features of his bedroom slowly registered, he let out a sigh and pushed himself up into a sitting position while massaging his forehead.
The purple thick velvet curtains were pulled together. So Matt didn’t realize it was already past midday until his phone started ringing again.
When Matt reached out for his phone on the bedside table, he was surprised to see a call from a private number.
This could only mean it was The Don or one of his contacts. However, when he swiped the receive button, the voice he heard sent a chill to run down his spine.
"Daddy, help!"
"Rosie!" Matt abruptly stood up, and his eyes widened with horror. Before he could say any other thing, the line instantly disconnected.
"Rosie!" Matt screamed, almost dashing out of the room when he realized he was still completely nude.
"Fuck!" He sprinted to his closet and grabbed some clothes, which he threw on before dashing out of his room.
However, the sight that met his eyes when she entered the sitting room caused the blood to drain from his face.
