Flash Marriage: In His Eyes-Chapter 327: Away
–Alyssa–
I watched as Livana and Lore left the Braxton mansion.
That left me with Sky.
Yes, I’ll be his mother for a while.
I actually wanted to take Sky with me to the apartment. But then I remembered that two staff members turned out to be traitors. I can’t risk that baby’s safety.
"Aly," Mom called. "Get ready, alright?" She sighed softly. "We’ll be staying at your sister-in-law’s mansion. Unfortunately, we can’t leave you alone at the apartment."
I understand.
But that also means I’ll still get to see Sky, Zendaya, and Zayvier.
Since I’m going to miss Lore so much.
We packed our things. Grandpa Reagan and Grandma Olivia looked terribly sad that we were leaving. I hugged them both tightly, and there was Aunt Ines still in her disguise.
I noticed Grandpa Reagan holding her hand firmly.
"See you, Grandpa," Laura said softly before telling the twins what to do.
The twins ran and hugged Reagan and Olivia.
"You go there, okay?" Zendaya told them sweetly. "I’ll wait, okay?"
"Okay, Princess. We’ll follow you there," Reagan chuckled and kissed her head.
I’m still surprised how strong they are at their age.
Just like my grandparents.
From what I heard, my grandparents married young—around my age. The same goes for Grandpa Reagan and Olivia. More like arranged marriages.
The Hummer was already waiting with bodyguards nearby. I helped place the babies in their designated seats.
Then I glanced at Deanne, who was waddling slightly as she walked.
Like a penguin.
But I definitely shouldn’t say that out loud. She’s heavily pregnant.
If I ever get pregnant, I’ll probably look like that too.
But anyway, my parents already scolded me enough.
Yes, I need to push back the wedding.
Lore told me I could plan it however I wanted. The funds are basically unlimited. So of course I’m going to take out my wedding dream album and plan everything perfectly.
We eventually reached Livana’s mansion, which is now under Sky’s and the twins’ names as a gift for them.
The mansion is actually closer to my school than the Blackwell residence—about an hour’s drive, less if there’s no traffic.
I still have my belongings back at the apartment though. So I’ll probably visit there often.
Aunt Ines arranged my own room in the mansion.
This room will be mine.
And Lore’s.
Sky’s room looked exactly the same as it did a year ago before Livana left. The twins’ room was right next door.
Then there’s another room that had been deep-cleaned years ago. I heard stories about Livana’s ex-fiancé Richard and the half-blood sister, Carrie.
So now that room has been turned into Livana and Laura’s showroom.
"Mama!" Sky suddenly pointed at the painting in the hallway.
It was a painting of Livana and Damon.
The artwork was so realistic it almost looked alive. Livana was looking slightly away, since she was still blind at that time. My brother stood beside her, gazing down at her with an expression full of love.
No.
More like obsession.
Possessiveness.
"Where’s Mama?" Sky asked softly.
"Hmm... working," I said, patting his head.
"Why is Mama working?" Zayvier asked.
I almost forgot that the twins call Livana "Mama" too. They copied Sky, and Sky copied them as well by calling Laura "Mommy."
"Well... to buy food," I said, patting Zayvier’s head.
"Alyssa," Aunt Ines called gently. "I know you have school tomorrow, but could you play with the kids for a while? I have something to discuss with the others."
"Sure, Auntie."
She smiled and walked downstairs.
"Tita, foodie," Sky said dramatically before collapsing onto the floor and holding his stomach.
"Oh no," Zendaya sighed like it was the most serious problem in the world.
I laughed.
These babies are ridiculously dramatic—and adorable.
My phone chimed in my pocket.
When I pulled it out and saw the message, I froze.
Lore’s Abs: Hey, beautiful. I’ll be out of the country. See you when I get back?
My fingers moved quickly.
Me: What? No way! Get back here.
Lore’s Abs: Company’s in crisis. I’ll cut off our comms. Make sure you stay safe. I love you, and I’ll fucking marry you and blow your mind with orgasm when I get back.
My face turned bright red.
Me: I’ll forgive you this time. But please come back quickly and safely. I don’t know what I’ll do if something happens to you.
Lore’s Abs: Don’t worry, beautiful. The finest package of your fiancé will be safe and good as new.
I chuckled quietly.
Me: Stay safe.
He sent a heart emoji.
"Tita~~"
Sky was lying flat on the floor, his fluffy hood covering half his face as he wiggled his arms and legs.
"Zay-zay, pull him," I told Zayvier.
Zayvier grabbed one of Sky’s feet while Zendaya grabbed the other.
They dragged him across the floor while Sky laughed loudly.
When we reached the staircase, I sat down on the steps. Zendaya immediately climbed onto my back.
Then I reached for Sky’s hand.
"Zay-zay, hold Tita’s shirt."
He did exactly as I said.
We slowly moved down the stairs together.
But when we reached the bottom—
I froze.
Carrie was standing there.
And the first thought in my mind was...
How did she get inside?
******
–Lore–
We’re currently on the plane.
Livana and I are disguised as siblings.
Well—fake siblings.
She pulled it off perfectly. Dark wig, softer makeup, oversized glasses that slightly changed the shape of her face. If someone knew her well, they might recognize her... but most people wouldn’t dare stare long enough to figure it out.
Still, airports are annoyingly strict—even for private flights.
The cabin smelled faintly of leather and jet fuel, mixed with that sterile airport-cleaning scent that clings to everything. The hum of the engines vibrated lightly under my feet as the aircraft cruised above the clouds.
It’s also my first time going out on an operation with Livana.
No one outside our circle really knows who I am or what I look like. I’ve always preferred it that way. Digital ghosts don’t need public identities.
But this time we’re visiting the headquarters.
And no—it’s not some shady underground bunker with flickering lights and secret doors.
It’s just... a big office.
A very normal-looking office.
The building is disguised as an IT agency. Rows of cubicles, bright meeting rooms, coffee machines that never stop brewing.
But behind that?
Ghost workers.
Developers, analysts, data miners scattered across different countries, all quietly connected to the same network.
The official CEO is just another IT tech. Quiet. Brilliant. Invisible.
And me?
I’ll be entering as an intern.
Naturally, my identity is disguised too. If anyone searches my name in their system, they’ll find a perfectly fabricated academic history and internship profile.
Clean.
Believable.
Untraceable.
Because someone inside the system leaked something big.
Very big.
And now we have to find out who’s selling information.
Which is honestly stupid, because everyone working there is already paid ridiculously well. High salaries. Full benefits. Security coverage.
Livana is generous with the people she trusts.
Too generous sometimes.
"Did you send a message to Aly?" Livana asked, adjusting her glasses as she reviewed a document.
"Yup," I sighed, leaning back into my seat. "I missed school."
"Don’t worry. I already spoke to the Dean," she replied calmly. "They’ll give you the modules and let you take your final exams when you return."
She flipped another page.
"Hm."
She paused.
"About Ms. Christina and Mr. Roberto—I haven’t fired them from the apartment yet. Instead, I assigned them... special tasks."
Her tone made it sound terrifying.
"So Alyssa will still be safe if she decides to stay there."
I nodded.
"I already told mom and dad about it."
Then I corrected myself with a chuckle.
"I mean—Aly’s parents."
Calling them mom and dad felt surprisingly natural.
My own parents already know Alyssa and I are getting married. I told them everything.
They just didn’t expect Alyssa to try rushing it.
Now my mom is apparently taking a few days off work to help Alyssa with preparations—gowns, venues, decorations... the whole wedding chaos package.
I reclined my seat and let out a long breath.
The engines hummed steadily around us.
Livana glanced at me.
"Do you plan to have kids with Aly?"
"Yes. Of course."
That answer came automatically.
"Maybe when she’s twenty-five," I added. "Right now she’s too impulsive."
Livana snorted softly.
"She got that trait from Damon."
Then her expression softened.
"Oh... my sweet Sky," she murmured. "I already miss him."
I nodded quietly.
"Hmm."
The plane continued slicing through a blanket of clouds glowing under the afternoon sun.
But Livana’s tone shifted again.
Business mode.
"We need to fix the problem in headquarters first," she said.
I watched her flip through another report.
"It might take months."
I sat up immediately.
"Holy shit. Are you serious?"
She nodded.
Yeah.
That meant the situation was worse than I thought.
But there was one thing we absolutely had to retrieve.
The drive.
The one Tyrona stole.
Because that single drive?
It was basically a master key.
One that could open access to our entire network.
