Flip the Coin [BL]-Chapter 118 - . Payback
Chapter 118 - 118. Payback
After stuffing myself with food, and lying down to sleep in my solitary cell, which I really fell in love with because, obviously, it was better than some parallel worlds with bitches going around biting or stabbing, I knew the time to go back was near.
My wounds had meanwhile scarred pink, and although the holes were not fully filled with new flesh but just a light membrane that instead haphazardly held my body together, they wouldn't turn life-threatening with a single movement.
I had just closed my eyes and was deep asleep, when the next moment there was a change in the atmosphere—not the pressure that would cause you to pass out like when crossing a portal, but the difference between being indoors and outdoors, even if there was no fresh air or wind.
When you can just feel that you are under the sky, whatever sky it was.
My hand shot up instinctively, and when my eyes snapped open, I saw those bright blue eyes widen in absolute horror.
Henrietta was straddling me, and there was Henry's military knife full of blood inside her hand. My whole body was also full of fresh blood, though without any open wounds.
I had caught her wrist with which she held the knife, and now I finally got to release a bit of anger.
"H...how?" Her lips trembled, when I punched her face full force.
Before she could react, I pulled her back down on her wrist, and grabbed her hair near her scalp with my other hand.
With one of my hands on her wrist and with my other on her hair, I pulled them into opposite directions to position her neck right in front of my mouth.
She was still owing me a bit of blood.
I sunk my teeth inside her neck, heck, I bit into her flesh like I would into some goddamn cheeseburger, and it surprised me how easy it was after overcoming the first hesitation.
While blood gushed into my mouth, I felt a power surging through me, an unknown feeling I had never had before. It wasn't like I felt super powerful, but like a subtle stream, that makes your head clear and fresh. Like getting an infusion, or drinking some vitamin water, just more potent.
It was somehow addicting, and if little Vampire-Henrietta had wandered through the worlds, while feeding on leveled-up individuals, I could understand why she got herself some nice improvements in speed and strength.
Henrietta finally snapped back and clawed with the hand not holding the knife at the side of my face, aiming for my eye.
I let go, and headbutted her as heavy as I could, like I did with that fucker Kenny2, getting the same results.
She dazedly leaned back, and I punched her face again, while tightening my grip on her wrist until she let go of the knife.
I rolled with her to the side, and turned her body so that she lay on her stomach in this damn trash. I flung one of her arms back, and after hearing a satisfying crack, I sat on that arm, straddling her.
Bending over her and holding her uninjured arm over her head against the ground, I tried and conjured up my kitchen knife, and thank god, it worked.
"Hahaha, finally have you back, my good friend." I chuckled and stabbed into her hand, while Henrietta broke into earth-shattering screams. I made sure to not serve a finger because I wouldn't want to be called barbaric, but I stabbed where possible, knowing that the wounds would heal soon anyway. Furthermore, I want her to use her hands for closing portals, but to never be able to lift something again.
After healing from around fifteen stab wounds, at least four of them fatally, I think I got all rights to disable her forever.
And there is another perk to it. If she got her hands (haha) on another counterpart's power, then her wounds would surely heal, and that would be visible for everyone when looking at her hands, it would be a warning that she had acquired power again.
Well, I could also injure her face, but that would probably just make me a sadist. It was an enticing thought, though.

After I mutilated her hand enough, I put her other hand, which was sandwiched between us on her back out, to continue stabbing it.
The first hand that fell victim to my wrath tried to stop the stabbing of the second, but it was impossible, showing that it worked. However, the real results, we would only uncover in a few seconds.
As if on cue, my kitchen knife disappeared, the blood that had splattered on the trash did as well, and her wounds closed and scarred over. While she still groaned in pain and breathed rapidly, I reached for the military knife that had fallen to the side.
After conjuring up my gun and pointing it at her, which she couldn't see because I was sitting on her back, I placed the military knife beside her hand.
Let's run a test.
She was dazed, clearly not understanding what had just happened, but besides that and the fact that she had bled quite a bit, got punched twice, and was headbutted, her hand quickly grabbed for the knife as soon as she noticed it.
Her marred hands and fingers, which were now as crooked as mine, tried to enclose the knife, but it fell out.
Contrary to me and my destroyed hands, she couldn't make a fist anymore, and because I used the knife from months ago, it should not heal in the future and stay that way— at least without leveling up or a new power supply.
While she whimpered and groaned, I was immensely satisfied with my handiwork.
"Henrietta. All I ever wanted was to either not get convicted for a crime I didn't commit, or to not let you destroy our world." I pushed my gun against her nape and bent down to whisper in her ear.
"Tell me, is that enough reason for you to stab me fifteen times after rendering me unconscious? And what did your counterpart or her brother ever do to you?"
She didn't answer, well, there wasn't much to say anyway. Something was wrong with her; she was unable to feel empathy for anyone else but herself, as it seemed, and there was no talking with such people.
I conjured up two needles so that my gun disappeared, before taking the military knife away from her hands.
After standing up from her, I walked to Henry, and kneeled at his side, in a position I still had her in my view—that lesson, I had learned.
