<Please choose your fighters.>
<Fighter 1:…>
<Fighter 2:…>
Simba bitterly smiled while he assigned himself as the first fighter and Leo as the second fighter. He adjusted their strength variables to the [Full Condition], [Full Potential], and [Max Mastery].
'Show me what we can potentially do. I want to learn from you.'
Simba pressed the [Begin] button.
Two holograms of the two fighters appeared and initiated the duel. The clone of Simba transformed into a gold dragonewt and charged at Leo.
The clone of Leo spread two rainbow phoenix wings behind him and vanished. Simba's clone turned around and threw a punch at the empty void.
BOOM
His fist collided with an invisible dark matter, causing a huge explosion. The hologram of Simba braced the shockwave and threw another punch.
A golden ray flashed and illuminated the void, revealing the hidden figure of the invisible phoenix.
The beam contacted with a dome barrier of the phoenix's domain. Inside the barrier, Leo's revealed his new appearance as a giant phoenix. He flapped his wings and ejected a million rainbow flame feathers.
The feathers scattered everywhere in the void and expanded into white suns. The heat and the extreme temperature instantly melted the clone of Simba.
The clone of Simba ejected his soul out of his crushed fleshly body. He flew away from the million white suns in the void to recuperate.
That was when the clone of Leo dealt the final blow. One of the suns projected a new clone of Leo, who came out with a rainbow flame scythe. He activated a death knight domain and swung it.
The soul of Simba's clone was cleaved in half and dissipated into dust!
DING
<Simulation has been completed. Result: Leonardo Ariel Wins.>
Simba dryly laughed. He was impressed by this new system.
"It's different from what I've imagined, but this will be useful."
Simba pulled his consciousness back to reality. He gazed at Leo to confirm the usefulness of his new system.
"How was it?" Asked Leo.
"Very useful. I can simulate and investigate the abilities of my targets. It was eye-opening."
"Glad you like it. Now, then. I'll head back to work. I'm a busy man."
"Take care, Leo."
Leo nodded. He turned around and was about to leave. But then, he remembered that Simba never properly visited his domain.
"Say, where are you staying? In that stupid dragon spaceship?" Leo pointed at the dreadnaught battleship.
"Yeah. So?"
"My main system is a kingdom-building one. I can easily get my hands on colonies and good penthouses. Say, if you are bored of ship life, come see me. I'll buy you a house."
Simba was surprised by Leo's sudden offer. The corners of his mouth curved up into a faint smile.
'Right. He might have changed over the years, but his kind nature is still the same as that time.'
Showing his brother respect, Simba smirked and lightly slapped Leo's back. Then, he returned to his ship.
Leo flinched. The impact wasn't heavy, but it almost cracked his spinal cords and his bones. He grumbled and complained.
"Dammit, you ingrate! How could you hit me so hard after all I've done to protect you! Fine, no more colony for you! Stay in that stupid yellow snake forever. Humph!"
Frustrated, Leo returned to his world. He hoped that the brief fight didn't harm or affect the local people.
…
Upon arrival, Leo's followers already finished harvesting the soul stones. They presented their storage rings for Leo to inspect.
As promised, Leo took half of their collection. Then, he told the people to publish the new town that he had created.
The group dispersed and visited the slum district. Only Cat and Beatrice remained behind.
"Time to set up the store. Let's go."
.
.
Tang Xuan and Tang Tian were quick. They published the news of the newly erected town west of the slum district.
The rogue cultivators and the merchants were excited. They sent their representatives to the west to scout the area. Then, they found the modern skyscrapers, freeways, and luxury penthouses along the way.
"For sale?"
"I wonder how much…"
The rogue cultivators and merchants gawked at the houses and condominiums in awe. Some of them entered a building and was greeted by the mannequins behind the reception counter. freewebn(o)vel
"Hello, sir!" The mannequins with an office lady attire bowed toward them. Then, she presented the group with a brochure. "Welcome to the Florida Estate Number 420. We have a total of 666 units for sale. Would you like to see the sample rooms, sir?"
One of an elderly rogue cultivator received a pamphlet brochure and read the content. At first, he couldn't understand the weird scriptures as it was written in English. But after staying inside the building for 10 seconds, the words were automatically translated in his mind.
"…Oh, I can read it."
He laughed and skimmed through the texts. However, when he noticed the price tag, he was shocked.
"Wait a second! The cheapest room is… HOW MUCH?!"
A receptionist folded her hands in front of her stomach and politely informed him, "A 300 square feet studio with one bathroom is 20,000 essence stones or 20,000 years of lifespan, sir."
"WHAT?!"
Everybody was speechless. Most of them barely earned 100 essence stones a month from their side-jobs or family businesses. Procuring 20,000 essence stones out of nowhere was impossible for them.
Still, a few merchants had a clever idea. They asked the receptionist, "Miss. Is this place operated by Lord Florida Man?"
"Yes."
"Then, can multiple buyers split the bill? For example, I bring a thousand people here and make everybody pay 20 years of lifespan."
"Yes. That payment method is possible."
"NICE!" The merchant laughed. Then, he asked another question. "Does every business and houses here belong to Lord Florida Man as well?"
"Yes."
"Good! Good! I understand everything. Have a nice day!"
The merchants smiled and left in glee. They scrambled toward large townhouses and big buildings near the main road to secure their potential front stores.
As condominium rooms and houses were different types of real estate, the price tag also differed according to the scale of land, luxury, utilities, and the locations. When the merchants found the price tag, they almost vomited blood.
"T-Two hundred million essence stones for a manor?! Are you kidding me?!"
"A-A 4-story building store next to the road is 15 million..."
"Wow. A single one-story wooden house is on sale for 700,000 essence stones? Why don't you just rob me?! I can build it myself!"
Many cultivators and merchants weren't familiar with the high price tags as they weren't as rich as Leo's employees. Still, several cultivators were smart enough to inspect the interior of these new buildings to measure their worth.
They weren't disappointed. Every house and building feature cultivation rooms suitable for seclusion training. The interior space was also a hundred times larger than the advertised pamphlets. By purchasing one small house, they would get a secret mansion, suitable to house a hundred servants!
Many rogue cultivators gulped and stared at the price tags, unwilling to give up the opportunity. They measured the pros and cons.
"How do I procure essence stones? How do I earn money!?"
"Dammit. I need a lot of money quick! What should I do?!"
"Should I sell my heirlooms? B-But that can barely fetch a thousand spirit stones at best!"
Everybody was at wits end. They inwardly screamed, lamenting their incompetency.
Everything went according to Leo's scheme. While everybody was in despair, several mannequins walked around and handed them a stack of A4 document papers.
Confused, the cultivators received them and read the content.
The mannequins smiled at them and explained.
"All real estates in this district can be purchased by installment. Depending on the length of the contract and the price of the property, the monthly installment can be as cheap as 100 essence stones per month or a million essence stones a month."
"Installment?"
The local cultivators weren't familiar with this term. They gazed at the mannequin girls, paying attention to their explanation.
"For example, this townhouse's price is 700,000 essence stones. If you agree to pay by installment for 100 years, we will charge the interest rate of 1% per year. Then, the total amount you have to pay monthly is only 923 essence stones!"
"OHHHHH!!"
The cultivators were astonished and excited.
"That's so affordable! Miss, I have a thousand essence stones on me! Can I buy one right now?!"
The mannequin grinned, "Yes. As long as you sign the contract right here. Oh, you wish for the 100-year installment, am I right?"
"Yes, please!"
"Good. Please come with me."
The cultivator followed the mannequin in glee while the others stared at the guy in astonishment and confusion.
While the cultivators were baffled by the development, the smart merchants brought out their abacus and calculated the total sum of the payment. Then, they sweated profusely.
"T-This is rip off!"
"T-That guy will pay more than 700,000 essence stones after 100 years! This is a scam!"
While several merchants shallowly looked at the increase in price after the 1% interest rate, the people of the Tang Clan had been lurking among the crowd. They also calculated and found the number.
Although they were surprised as well, they understood the price of opportunities. One of them rushed toward a large mansion near the main road and yelled.
"I WOULD LIKE TO BUY THIS BUILDING BY INSTALLMENT!"
The crowd was stunned once again. They looked at the price tag of that mansion.
It was whopping 100 million essence stone!
"B-Brother, are you sure?" One of the merchants were so shocked that his lips trembled.
The Tang Clan's member widely grinned. He turned around and revealed that he was none other than Tang Tian.
"Positive! This price is too cheap!"
