Foreign Land Reclamation By a Vegetable-growing Skeleton-Chapter 952 - 524
Chapter 952: 524
Ange and the others had already used the Teleportation Array to move to a location near Starburst Gorge, in Tabama City. According to the local indigenous language, Tabama is also called Falling Star.
Walking ahead, Anthony said, "We can’t occupy that land, for if we did, the Sorcerer Alliance would surely link us with the God of Life. Over time, it would be easy for us to be exposed. However, their actions have reminded me that there must be places at the edge of the dead line that even the Starburst Arrays can’t blast."
Pausing, Anthony continued, "Choosing there, they actually have another purpose, which is to draw the God of Life toward the Undead Empire. They must believe that life and death are mortal enemies. If the God of Life could clash with the Undead, all the better."
"Too bad," Anthony turned back to look at the two green leaves on Ange’s shoulder and scoffed, "they wouldn’t expect that the Undead God and the God of Life have begun to exist symbiotically."
The one symbiotically linked with Ange was the Little Sapling, but now the old tree had diverted all its energy to the Little Sapling, so it was nearly the same as a symbiotic relationship.
"Moreover, we could even find a territory within the dead line, don’t forget, we have a bunch of High-Order Undead here. Quietly occupying a piece of land in the name of the Undead Temple wouldn’t be detected by anyone, right?" said Anthony.
"Exactly, exactly," Negris agreed, then sneakily glanced at Ange and noticed that he was no longer so resistant.
When Lainas suggested exchanging fertile land for people, the God of Life was disinterested. But the Undead God was all too interested, almost eager to set off immediately and was unwilling to be denied.
All this talk from Anthony was primarily aimed at Ange, to tell him there’s no need to fall for traps. "We have plenty of land," was the reassurance, which seemed to have calmed him down now.
Feiti, holding a pair of Capture Balls, had one filled with unwilling lightning, "Are you done yet? You bring me all this way, then toss me aside, talking about planting and farming. Am I, a Titan, really less important than planting?"
Everyone nodded.
"Uh, what does that mean?" The uniform response completely baffled Kronos.
"Of course, planting is more important, we captured you mainly for that purpose," Negris bluntly pointed out.
"Planting? I can plant? How do I plant?" Kronos’s first reaction was bewildering; it was absurd. He, a Thunder Titan, how was he supposed to farm?
Impatiently, Negris replied, "What else can you do if you’re not farming?"
"Fight! Thunder destroys everything!" Kronos declared gravely.
"Heh, who can you beat here?" Negris asked with a chuckle.
Kronos looked at Feiti, then at Ange, before his eyes wandered among the little Angel, Little Zombie, Anthony, and Negris, hesitating before he finally asked, "You?"
"Hehe," Negris leaned closer and gave Kronos a thorough blast with Mini Dragon Breath.
"Bastard, if you dared to let me out, damn it, if you had the guts to take away the capture ball, I’d electrocute you, you little fatty dragon," Kronos roared furiously.
"Heh, I could take out the Bronze Book, and you wouldn’t even have the capability to fight back. But why would I need to fight you? Heh—spray you to death," Little Yellow Dragon sprayed Dragon Breath all over Kronos, infuriating him.
After Negris finished playing around, Anthony finally asked, "Kronos, right? Why did only you return? Where are the others? It seems your rank is pretty low. How does your Thunder Titan hierarchy work? If I remember correctly, at the top is the Titan God King, followed by the Titan Gods, also known as the Gold Titans, who have physical forms."
"Your kind, a semi-energetic Thunder Titan, must be the lowest rank, right? What, were the big shots sending you to your death as a scout?" Anthony asked curiously.
Everyone else immediately felt a twinge in their hearts. Good grief, was he even able to drive a wedge between the Titans themselves?
And sure enough, Kronos became silent in an instant.
Anthony’s spirits lifted, sensing an opportunity. For the Old God Stick, sowing discord and verbal traps were basic tactics—constantly looking for the enemy’s psychological weaknesses, breaking down their mental defenses with the least cost, and then extracting the needed information.
It was not specifically part of the plan now, because he had never thought that these tactics could be applied to internal Titan conflicts. However, spotting an opening, Anthony immediately took advantage of it:
"It looks like I hit the nail on the head. You, a low-level Titan, are probably just expendable within the Titan Clan, suitable for scouting, right? Now you can’t go back. The other Titans must recognize the danger. What will they do next? Send other low-level Titans to scout?"
The Lightning Ball shrank into itself, remaining silent.
"You’re so weak, your family and friends are probably low-level Titans too, right? If they send two or three more low-level Titans next time, and they get caught by Feiti... Not sure if you’ve seen, but apart from Feiti, there’s also another Lord of Mourning. That guy’s even more vicious. What if he carelessly killed one of your friends..."
"Shut up!" the Lightning Ball roared in rage.
"Alright, alright, shut up. Actually, you could talk to me about it. I could ask Harvey to go easy on them, not to burst them. Not sure if you’ve seen, but among the people who captured you, there are Elves, Giant Dragons, Dwarves, Mixed-Blood Titans, members of the Church of Light, Stellaris Mages, humans, skeletons, and more. The Master Plane has already united. You Titans have no chance," Anthony said, telling him to shut up but delivering even more heart-piercing words.
The Lightning Ball shrunk into itself.
"You must have been driven away by the Undead King, right? I found your relics in a beautiful valley. Were there humans worshipping you back then? Those humans have converted the caves you lived in into tombs, did you know that? Didn’t you also leave a Dragon Head bone inside? That Dragon Head bone has already nurtured a Dragon Soul, named Griffin," Anthony prattled on.
"I can imagine how frantically you fled your habitat. Where did you go after that? Wandering in the Void? You had no choice, wanting to try your luck back at the Master Plane? After all, the gods were annihilated, and the Undead King has come to this world; the Master Plane has no one who could resist the Titans."
"Guess what? Drifting in the Void for a thousand years, you returned to the Master Plane only to find it united by even stronger forces. The Undead and the Light joining forces, Elves and the Dragon Clan side by side, and even the Dwarves—those who claim to have Titan blood—have turned their backs on you."
"Are those Titan Gods content with this? Definitely not. They wouldn’t easily give up the Master Plane, even if it meant the death of every last low-level Titan. All low-level Titans will die then, won’t they? Could some of them be your friends and family?" Anthony’s voice was soft like a gentle breeze.
