Forever Destined to the Silver Shadow-Chapter 311: War and retreat

When Oberon reached the shores of the Selene island with his Fae warriors in the ships, he expected that he would be greeted by his son and mortal enemy Silver Shadow. Bt to his surprise, he was nowhere to be seen. He didn’t expect this from his reckless and danger-seeking son! The Demon warriors were standing on the shores of the island and they were armed with weapons. Oberon wasn’t able to stop smirking at them. ’They are all going to die soon,’ he thought.

Once he got down from his ship and landed on the shore, he was faced by two beautiful women. One of them had long silver-blonde hair and blue eyes like that of the sky. "Siren Queen," he bowed a little to Cynthia. He wasn’t able to stop admiring her even though he was going to attack her land soon. He always had a thing for her! Years ago, he had come to this island only to seduce the Siren Queen. But somehow he fell into the traps of Sapphire and he ended up impregnating her with a child that wrecked his life. He wished that things were different!

Then he looked at the other beauty who stood next to Cynthia. Her hair was deep red like that of blazing red fire. She was intimidating and scary—yet she was beautiful as hell. Still, there was something in Cynthia that captivated him more. He had already made plans to make her his sex slave once he kills Silver Shadow.

"What a beautiful sight?!" Oberon said while looking at Cynthia. "I never thought that I would be greeted by you, my Queen—"

Cynthia got sick by seeing his wicked smile. She was not an ordinary Siren girl. She was a gifted Siren and she was able to read Oberon’s mind. She knew that he was infatuated with her—but now he has planned to make her his sex salve?! She would die instead!

The Siren Queen dug her nails in her palm to control her rage. She can’t lash out at the enemy now! Not when Theo and Celestia weren’t here. If he gets mad then he will start attacking the Demon warriors. She made a plan to stall him as much as possible until Theo gets here. Oberon was able to sense her anxiousness. And he was a little aroused by that. He wondered how more anxious she would get once she was under him! That time is going to arrive soon!

"Well, my Queen," he smiled at her. "Looks like you got abandoned by your son—"

Cynthia fell silent. She couldn’t say that Theo is on the way and alert him. She chose to change the subject instead. "I understand that your vengeance is with Silver Shadow. Why don’t you call him out for a duel and end the dispute?! Innocent people don’t have to die over this—"

Oberon understood that the Queen was trying to hide something. She might be a gifted Siren and skilled in manipulation, but Oberon had ten thousand years of experience in reading people. He knew what exactly was going on. Celestia and Theo, both are missing—and the Queen is giving blunt answers to him. It means that Dawn is going to get her powers soon. He can’t let that happen!

What if the Dawn had already gotten her powers?! Oberon started to sweat under the black cloak he was wearing. But he was not going to accept the defeat now! He hadn’t come this far only to lose! And he did expect this to happen! He already had a back up plan—and it involved the Siren Queen.

In a blink of an eye, he grabbed Cynthia’s hand and wrapped one arm to the waist. Cynthia was so shocked and she tried to free herself from his grip—but she was overpowered by him.

"Listen, everyone," Oberon roared so loud that his voice was heard by every Sirens and Demon warrior who were on the island. "I have decided to spare all of your lives and in exchange, I am taking the Siren Queen with me! If anyone has a problem with it, they can come to my castle and challenge me for a duel—"

The Demon Queen Lilith didn’t expect this sudden change. Red flames emerged from her palms and she was about to attack the Shadow Lord Oberon. She knew that she can’t defeat him—still, she can’t let him take her friend. But even before she could attack Oberon, he disappeared from the spot along with Cynthia as black smoke. What just happened now?! Did Oberon really take away her friend?!

She got so much furious and turned to her Demon warriors. "Everybody attack the Fae warriors now and drown their ships in the sea," she ordered them. But the Fae warrior began to sail away from the island soon. And the Demon warriors were too stunned to even move. They have clearly not seen a war like this before! Usually, both sides attacked each other to death and one of them was declared as the winner. But now the enemy had taken the Siren Queen and just disappeared without attacking them.

The Siren warrior girls came running to the Demon Queen once all the Faes were out of their sight. Ivory curtsied before Lilith and said, "Please do something, my Queen. Please rescue our Queen from the Fae King—"

"I am not strong enough to duel with Oberon," Lilith confessed. "He is a Shadow Lord now! Only an Angel and Anti-Angel together can confront him."

Ivory knew that already. Yet she was worried for her Queen. "What if they both get here late?! What if something happens to the Queen?!"

"Nothing will happen to Cynthia," Lilith said while she was eyeing the vast sea before her. "Oberon has taken her from here on purpose. He is definitely going to use her in some way. So he won’t kill her!"

Ivory was a little bit relieved. Still, she wasn’t entirely convinced. She wished that Theo and Celestia would get here soon!
