Chapter 175: Chapter 175 - not knowing is good

01 and 02 walked through the market in the center of the dragon city. The street was made of dark grey stone. Multi story wooden buildings with curved roofs stood neatly lined up along the side of the road. Smoke billowed from the food vendors pots. The smell of spices and roasted meat hung very strong in the air. Every time 01 and 02 walked past through the middle of the crowd, the third class dragon citizens stopped their activities. Those citizens lowered their heads and bowed deeply to show respect.

"They seem to be exaggerating?" said 01. The pink haired man in the dark blue coat put both of his hands into his pants pockets while looking straight ahead.

"Even though we only opened up some resources and defeated the monsters that killed their food..." continued the pink haired man.

02 chuckled softly. The blonde haired woman in dark blue clothes with red accents walked with light steps. She waved her right hand to the bowing citizens. 02 even took two skewers of roasted meat from a merchant stall offered voluntarily by a dragon citizen.

"Just enjoy it, enjoy it 01!" said 02. She immediately took a bite of the roasted meat. "Maybe the boss did something else?"

02 tilted her head looking at 01 with her mouth still chewing. Her red eyes looked straight into 01’s face.

"Something else..." 01 repeated those words with a flat tone.

"Well," 02 took a long breath then swallowed the rest of her food. "Compared to that, it turns out the dragon kingdom does not meet my expectations."

"Are you disappointed?" asked 01. He turned his head slightly toward 02, staring with his sharp red eyes.

"No no, it just does not match..." 02 answered quickly.

The two of them walked out away from the city area and began climbing up toward the mountain. They entered a bamboo forest that grew increasingly dense. The sound of their boots rubbed against the dry dirt and piles of fallen leaves. The air felt much colder, covered by the shadows of tall trees.

"Like, I did not expect their system would be very different, their classes are different, their strengths are different..." said 02. She narrowed her red eyes looking at the gaps between the bamboo trees in front of them.

"Like yeah like ah this place is separated far away or hmm how do I say it..." 02 snapped her fingers trying to find the right arrangement of words.

"Oh right!" 02 exclaimed suddenly. Her voice broke the silence of the bamboo forest. "Like being in another world!"

"Ahhh understand understand." 01 nodded in understanding. He chuckled softly. "As for me... hmm I did not expect they would be nice to humans like us."

"Yeah I was also surprised there..." said 02. She shrugged both her shoulders casually.

"The boss said the history of humans and dragons is not very good..." said 01.

01 sighed. "Ahh if only he was not stingy with history knowledge..."

01 went silent for a moment before chuckling. He lowered his head slightly and touched the bottom of his chin with his index finger.

"No... I think it is better not to know it..."

"Why why?" asked 02 curiously. She leaned her face forward closer to 01.

"Just more peaceful, not knowing anything is quite peaceful you know," 01 answered.

"Ehh so inconsistent," 02 mocked. She rolled her eyes upward and pouted her lips.

"How about in the vampire kingdom? Which is better here or the vampires?" asked 01. He glanced from the corner of his eye looking at 02’s side profile.

"Hmm the human kingdom is the best," 02 answered.

"I asked what and you answered what sigh," 01 shook his head slowly.

The two of them finally arrived at a wide flat area on top of the mountain. Thin white mist covered the rocky ground surface inside that bamboo forest. In front of them stood a large furry monster with a leopard motif and jade green scales covering its neck and front legs area. Bright blue light blazed at the bottom of its four paws. Two long curved horns grew sturdily on its head jutting upward.

Near that giant mount monster stood Salksha. The woman with short silver hair wearing a black shirt under a light blue suit was stroking the white mane of the monster. Beside her stood Sa hu a bright white haired dragon woman with a pair of red horns wearing a bright red robe with blue and gold patterns.

"Wow they are so cute," said Salksha while rubbing the jaw area of the creature.

Sa hu who saw the arrival of 01 and 02 from afar immediately widened her smile. She lifted the loose sleeve of her robe and waved her hand high into the air.

"01! 02!!" said Sa hu enthusiastically.

01 nodded slowly. "Yo."

"Hellooo Sa huuuuuuuuuuu," said 02 very enthusiastically. She returned the wave and jogged closer to the red robed dragon girl.

02 hopped softly in front of Sa hu. "Are you ready? Today? You are in a team with me?! Yea!! Yeah!!!"

01 walked casually approaching Salksha who was still standing quietly near the mount monster. "Where is 07?" asked 01 to Salksha.

"Ah he just left," Salksha said casually. She pulled her hand from the monster’s mane then turned to 01. "Yeah he already told me where the area is."

"Where? What level this time?" asked 01. He looked straight into Salksha’s bright shining eyes. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖

"One hundred and one, in the valley," answered Salksha.

"Agh quite high..." said 01. He then turned his face to look at the expanse of the misty bamboo forest around them. His right hand raised to scratch the back of his neck slowly.

"Um... you guys..." said Sa hu shyly. She looked down slightly while bringing the tips of her two index fingers together in front of her chest. "Do not hesitate to rely on me okay!"

"Well I suppose it is not bad being needed as an area clearing squad," said 01. He stared at the jade monster in front of him preparing to depart.
