From a Talentless nobody to An SSS Class Dragon-Chapter 198: Ashline, The First Demon Realm

The environment around us was definitely interesting but I managed to make a camp with Ghost. The others were still completely passed out so we had to move them into the tents on our own.

I’m sure the other realms are just as pretty as this one. I wasn’t sure what to expect when we first arrived here but I guess it is pretty clear now.

This is definitely the realm of demons.

They have seven more of them that we have to travel through as well. We definitely have our work cut out for us. At least you have a decent size group to bring along with you during this.

That is true, I couldn’t imagine going through this whole place on my own. The tower was already quite the toll on me when I climbed it by myself.

I’d prefer not to do that if I can avoid it. It was beneficial in a lot of different ways but I’m not really up to that again. Everything is changing with each passing day as well.

That could be a problem going forward if we don’t find one of the Monarch’s within this realm. Of course I’ll need to be strong enough to kill them.

After getting information that would be the best action. I doubt they’ll bring us directly to any of the other Monarch’s so there is no reason for them to live.

This is another reason I missed you being around Rika. You agree with me on a lot of things, at least when it comes to what I want to do to the Monarch’s.

They all deserve to die. Lust didn’t make any sense to me though. Coming to me in the tower and telling me about how she’s intrigued by me.

Maybe it was part of the goal for her to confuse you. She is the enemy after all. They have no reason to be honest with us, let alone to say things that actually mean something.

I know I was all for talking to her at the tower just to try to see if we could get something but I don’t think it was actually smart.

I’ve thought about it a lot since we got back to the girls...

"Rokuro, do you have any idea what we’ll be doing first here?" Ghost asks with a bit of curiosity in her voice.

"I’m not entirely sure yet. We’ll figure it out when everyone is awake." I answer while scratching my head.

"Then we should rest with them for now." Ghost suggests.

"You’re right." I respond.

After that I got comfy in my bed for the night with Ghost. The darkness consumes everything around me like always but I didn’t wake up in the abyss this time.

I woke up to the sight of the tent, so no abyss for me today. Everyone else seems to finally be awake as well.

"Morning Rokuro." Aria says with a small smile.

"Good morning. Seems it is time for us to get moving." I reply while stretching.

I could feel some of the aches in my muscles from my previous fights in the tower. It was all catching up to me a bit since I haven’t been doing a whole lot.

It wasn’t too bad, but it was a bit annoying to deal with.

"I’ll guide is to one of the people I know we can trust in here." Lilly speaks up with a serious tone.

I was hoping she’d guide us since she knows the demon realms better than any of us do. Finding someone we can trust in here would also be quite a big win for the first day or two that we are here.

Especially when I don’t even know where I’m trying to go in here yet. Ashline is only the first realm we get to deal with as well.

Demons also don’t like humans in the slightest so this will definitely be one hell of a time here. Velia will probably look a bit more like a problem to them since she doesn’t have a way to mask the human side of herself.

I also doubt she even cares about hiding it in the slightest. She enjoys the thrill of killing people so I wouldn’t be surprised if she decided to kill them anyway.

But we packed up everything we needed from the camp and start to follow Lilly. It was surprising to see that they also have a day and night cycle like ours.

The sun was up currently but this place just looks a bit rough around the edges. Shit everywhere and it is pretty much a giant desert.

Lilly was also a bit more quiet while leading us through this whole place but I guess that’s normal for her.

I remember that she was exiled from the demon realms basically... So that makes a lot of sense why it might be making her quiet around here.

I wouldn’t be too talkative if I was exiled from my home world or realm. Humans are just as ruthless as demons are though.

That’s why we have a lot of fighting back in the outskirts of the cities and even between the guilds. People don’t always agree with one another and prefer to end it with violence.

Especially when we all have some sort of power, talent, or the ability to use magic. All of these things make the fights even more deadly.

Give an idiot something like that and all hell is unleashed.

I know. It just surprises me that everyone can be that way after the world suffered the collapse to begin with. Some things just don’t ever change I guess.

Saving people who don’t want to be saved... But I still believe in stopping the Monarch’s regardless. I just don’t think there will be a way to revert everything... And wiping out monsters is just going to cause issues with hunters.

It all feels like a big headache. But I’ll do it when the time comes.
