"Not only we are their instructor, we are also their elder, Guardian of Scarlet Bond. They are still young, impulsive. What in the world did you mean we can’t do anything about it?" asked the Guardian of Obsidian Descent, glaring at the Guardian of Scarlet Bond.

The Guardian of Scarlet Bond fanned herself again and replied, "In the first place, we can’t intervene in this tradition. It involves only them. We only have to guide them. If they propose something like this and are adamant on their decision, should we break the tradition, then?"

The Guardian of Obsidian Descent was infuriated. To compose himself, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

He said, "Fine. If that’s what both sides want to. Just don’t blame me if yours dies."

"Likewise." The Guardian of Scarlet Bond grinned merrily.

Myles, on the other hand, who quietly watched as the event unfolded to his liking, was inwardly exhilarated.

He just recalled he could execute mental commands to Violet earlier as his slave, so he did not hesitate to execute the idea he just had. After all, not only did he need to reach Common Demon Rank 1, he needed the law fragments of the incubus.

The more, the better.

As expected, an incubus fell into his bait. The incubus had a Common Demon Rank 1 Shadowbind Knight at that, which suffice in his ascension to Common Demon Rank 1.

Though, he did not expect the reason the incubus fell to the succubus’ provocation was due to his family problems.

In the end, it unfolded better.

After the Guardian of Scarlet Bond led them to the official to register him and Violet, followed by others, she guided them to the succubus chamber, which was on the left side corridor while the incubus entered the right side of the corridor, leading to their preparation chamber.

When they arrived in the succubus chamber, the Guardian of Scarlet Bond said to Violet and the three succubus, "Discuss with your Blood Knight first. We will talk with your seniors and wait for the officials to announce the commencement of the duel."

Afterwards, the Guardian of Scarlet Bond turned around and began to walk on the sofas surrounding the table at the center, followed behind by the senior succubus and their Blood Knights.

Violet did not bother with her cousins anymore, even though the latter had so many questions on their head.

After all, Violet was vicious. To risk her Blood Knight’s life was one thing, but to put her life at risk was another.

However, Violet was impatient as she was eager to have a conversation with Myles, instantly walking around the corner of the room, beside the wardrobe.

As soon as Violet and Myles were left alone, Violet took out an artifact that blocked their conversation from being heard outside of its range.

She immediately asked, "What are you doing? You’re attracting a lot of attention."

Myles shrugged. "One thing I learned, gaining attention is normal. It will eventually die down as long as I don’t overdo it."

Violet rolled her eyes. "What do you mean die down? You already overdid it."

Myles shook his head. "You’re overthinking. In the first place, I have to take a risk one at a time. Don’t worry, you won’t die."

"We will, soon, if you keep making a stunt like this."

Myles smiled.

In the end, Violet didn’t have a choice but to regain her composure and asked, "What do you benefit from this anyway? I presume you wanted to consume the core of an incubus, right?"

Myles nodded. "Yes. That’s why the benefits are too high to ignore."

Violet finally agreed. "If that’s the case, do your thing, just don’t make it too obvious."

Myles laughed. "Leave it to me."

Myles and Violet chatted for a while, until the Guardian of Scarlet Bond utilized her demonic energy to gain their attention, almost causing the artifact to break down under her demonic energy’s pressure.

Violet and Myles walked towards Guardian of Scarlet Bond, while behind her was a demon official, who must have informed her of the commencement of the duel.

As soon as they arrived, the Guardian of Scarlet Bond said, "It has been settled. Pink’s Blood Knight will be the first to battle, then Peach and Magenta. Violet, you will be last, obviously."

She grinned at Violet.

"I have already instructed your seniors to return your Velour Coffin Satchel at the house to your mother once you die."

Violet rolled her eyes and did not say anything.

The Guardian of Scarlet Bond giggled, elated by her own joke.

After a while, she said, "Violet, you will lead your Blood Knight, as well as Pink’s, Peach’s, and Magenta’s to the arena floor. Pink, Peach, and Magenta, you three will follow us to the spectator’s ring."

She stood up and followed the demon official, who led them to the spectator’s ring.

Violet and four Blood Knights were left alone. She glanced at the corridor, obviously leading to the arena floor, with a sign at the top, and walked towards it.

She was followed behind by Myles, and the other three Blood Knights.
