From Villain to Virtual Sweetheart: The Fake Heir's Grand Scheme(BL)-Chapter 626: Oppa You Bullied Me!
After leaving a thoroughly stifled Aidan behind, Micah and Clyde walked toward the edge of the auction hall, waving through the crowd, trying not to engage with any more enthusiastic guests.
They had barely made it into the quieter hallway when Clyde finally spoke, his tone light, amused, and unmistakably entertained.
"Got it out of your system?"
Micah snorted softly and turned his face away, the ends of his earrings brushing against his neck as he walked. His lips curved just slightly, betraying him. He crossed his arms, posture casual, as if he hadn’t just verbally nuked someone in public five minutes ago.
"Tch. You say it like I threw a tantrum," Micah muttered.
Clyde slowed his steps, glancing sideways at him. The corners of his mouth lifted. "You didn’t?" He tilted his head. "Because from where I was standing, it looked very... enthusiastic."
Micah shot him a look. "Excuse me. I was exercising restraint."
"Mm." Clyde hummed skeptically. "Wasn’t it a bit much, though? I thought you were trying to lure Aidan."
Micah scoffed and waved a dismissive hand. "Nah. That ship has sailed, sunk, and turned into a coral reef by now. I don’t have the energy to deal with those idiots anymore."
Clyde raised a brow, clearly intrigued. "Is that how it works? You just... decide you’re done? What about protecting Darcy? Or your family?"
"They aren’t worth shit to stand against me now," Micah said flatly. Then he paused, his expression twisting slightly. "Ahhh, seeing his face ruined my mood. Completely." He glanced down at Clyde’s jacket, his lips pursing. "And they soaked you. Look at this. This is such a high-quality fabric. How could they treat it like that?"
Clyde looked down too, then shrugged. "That’s a small matter."
Micah stared at him. "Is that the case? I’m a fashion design major. You expect me not to care? Spilling alcohol on any fabric is a crime in my book!"
"And I thought it had to do with me," Clyde muttered, feigning hurt.
Micah pressed his lips together, feeling conflicted. "Fine. I also didn’t like that she was seeking your attention."
Clyde’s expression brightened, and a teasing smile spread on his face.
"Don’t let it get to your head." Micah scoffed.
Noticing Micah had returned to his usual lively self, Clyde’s mood visibly improved too. He had no idea what had happened inside, but whatever the reason Clyde could see that had made the heaviness and doom in Micah’s eyes vanish.
"Alright. Anyway, I have a spare," Clyde said easily. Then he stopped near the entrance and turned to Micah. "Go to the private room and wait for me. I’ll come back soon."
Micah’s steps faltered, hesitating. He didn’t want to get separated from his human shield.
His expression screamed no. Clyde noticed immediately.
"What is it?" he asked, voice gentle but knowing.
Micah pursed his lips.
Clyde smiled faintly. "Listen," he said calmly, lowering his voice. "It’s cold outside, and it’s raining. I already asked the driver to bring the car directly to the entrance. I’ll just grab something quickly and come back."
Micah still didn’t move. He opened his mouth to argue, only for Clyde’s fingers to tap lightly against his lips.
Micah froze.
Clyde’s smile deepened, eyes glinting with mischief. "Be good," he murmured, "or I’ll kiss you."
Micah’s lips twitched violently. This man. Seriously.
Sometimes Micah genuinely wondered if Clyde had some kind of role-playing kink that activated exclusively at the worst possible moments.
"Pervert," Micah muttered under his breath, though his ears warmed. He slapped Clyde’s hand away. "Fine. I’ll go. I need to use the restroom anyway."
He turned on his heel and stalked off before Clyde could say anything else.
Behind him, Clyde chuckled softly.

Micah slowed to a stop the moment he reached the restroom area. He stared. Then stared harder.
"...You’ve got to be kidding me."
Why. Why were the restrooms like this?
Why did a place this luxurious, this stupidly expensive, still have separated men’s and women’s restrooms like a damn high school hallway?
Where were the high-class, single-occupancy, private marble cubicles? Where was the dignity? No wait, where was the unisex sign? The inclusivity? Give him at least that option!
He never thought that one day he would be complaining about the lack of respect for gender diversity. Where were the brothers, sisters, non-binary, and queers of the LGBTQ community? Why didn’t they still make this place rainbow flag-friendly?
Micah glanced at the women’s sign. No. Absolutely not.
What if someone was inside? What if he walked in on something he absolutely should not see in this outfit? His soul would leave his body.
Then he looked at the men’s side. Also no. Wouldn’t that be even worse?
A white-haired woman in heels walking into the men’s restroom? Someone would call security before he even touched the sink.
Micah paced back and forth, muttering under his breath. "This is bullshit. Absolute bullshit."
He stopped abruptly. "...Fuck it."
He pulled out his phone and dialled Darcy. The call connected almost immediately.
"Oh wow," Darcy drawled, his voice dripping with mockery. "Miss Ramsy. To what do I owe this honour?"
Micah closed his eyes. "You guessed it already?"
"You think my eyes are decorations?" Darcy said smugly. "Or that my brain is filled with water?"
"Right, right," Micah replied, rolling his eyes. "You’re a genius. Sherlock must be your pseudonym."
He lowered his voice back to his normal tone. "Now tell me. Is there a restroom I can use without being labelled a lunatic?"
"Hm." Darcy paused deliberately. "If you ask me sweetly, I might consider helping."
Micah grimaced. "Ugh. Really?"
"Oh?" Darcy sounded delighted. "Unwilling?"
Micah could practically hear the grin through the phone.
"You might want to think carefully before refusing," Darcy continued. "I’m concerned about your kidneys."
Micah stiffened.
"And not in that way," Darcy added quickly. "No, wait. You should probably worry about that too, considering how that old man is..."
"STOP." Micah cut him off immediately. "Stop right there. Do not finish that sentence. Do not ever talk about this kind of thing with me!"
Darcy burst out laughing. "Wow. You’re so red right now."
Micah glared upward, as if Darcy could see him through the ceiling camera. "Are you enjoying this?"
"Very much," Darcy said cheerfully. "Come on. Ask me properly. Use your girlish voice."
Micah’s eye twitched. Oh. So that’s how it was. Fine.
If Darcy wanted to play, Micah could absolutely play. His lips curved slowly into a dangerous smirk. He pinched his throat lightly and deliberately softened his voice, stretching it into something sugary, sweet, and painfully fake.
"Oppa~," Micah crooned. "Why are you picking on me? I thought you said you liked me. I knew all boys were liars~! I’m going to tell Clyde Oppa you bullied me~!"
"SHIT—STOP—!" Darcy yelped. "I’m going to puke!"
Micah beamed. "What’s wrong? Too sweet for you?"
"Second floor," Darcy snapped, dignity in shambles. "Go straight to the end of the hallway, turn left. There’s a staircase. Don’t ever do that again."
The call cut off abruptly.
Micah laughed quietly to himself, shoulders shaking.
"Cute," he murmured fondly. He turned and headed toward the end of the hallway, steps light.

Meanwhile, Darcy sat in the room, rubbing his burning red ears as he stared at the CCTV feed.
On the screen, Micah walked away, looking entirely too pleased with himself.
"...Shameless," Darcy muttered as he leaned back in his chair, still trying to process what he had witnessed tonight.
He knew Micah would appear incognito.
But this? Crossdressing? That was a whole different level. That was too mind-blowing.
When Darcy had first spotted Clyde earlier, he’d nearly short-circuited, thinking his eyes were playing a trick on him.
Who the hell was that girl beside him? For a split second, genuine rage had surged through him.
Did Clyde Du Pont really have the audacity to cheat on Micah?
Darcy had almost stormed out....Then he stopped.
Because that old man? Clyde? He was crazy about Micah. There was no way in damnation he’d hook up with someone else, especially when Darcy was watching.
So Darcy had zoomed in. And his worldview was shattered.
It was Micah. That bold, insane little bastard. He never ceased to amaze him.
Darcy had thrown his head back and laughed so hard his chair squeaked. Micah was terrifyingly good at it. If Darcy hadn’t known he was going incognito, he would’ve never guessed. The posture. The expression.
Even Willow was fooled.
Darcy watched the footage again, feeling an odd swell of pride. Then his smile slowly faded. For Micah to go this far... and for Clyde to agree...That meant the enemy was dangerous. Powerful.
Darcy straightened, eyes sharpening as he scanned the room on the monitors, Aidan, Silas, and Lobart.
He exhaled slowly. Still...He glanced back at Micah on the screen.
There was no way he would let this chance pass him by without teasing Micah.
He had answered the call enthusiastically.
But once again, Micah had turned the tables on him. And he was the one losing, feeling embarrassed.
