Future Beast World: Becoming A Pampered Beauty-Chapter 236 - 180: Daddy’s Health Isn’t Very Good
The moment Sang Luo teleported into the Sea Palace, a man embraced her from behind. Fervent kisses followed. Lou Xianyue didn’t say a word as he carried her off to the bedchamber.
Lying on the bed, Sang Luo sensed his passion was far more intense than usual. She blinked, and realization dawned. "Ah Ze, you... you’re in heat?"
Lou Xianyue hummed softly in agreement. His fair fingers gently traced the love bites on her neck, his gaze deepening. "Now that Sang’er has someone new to keep her company, will you forget all about me?"
"Ah Ze, you’re very important to me. I rushed right over to be with you the moment I heard your message."
Sang Luo wrapped her arms around his slender neck and tilted her head up to press a kiss to his soft, pink lips. Her eyes crinkled as she smiled softly. "Did you really miss me that much?"
"I missed you. So much. I missed every part of you, so much that it ached..." His voice was hoarse with desire. His gaze dropped to her flat stomach, and his hand gently caressed it. "In here," he whispered, "are you carrying another Male Beast’s child?"
"No," Sang Luo chuckled. "Still hoping for a little mermaid of our own?"
"Mhm." Lou Xianyue pressed her down into the bed, lacing their fingers together. Kissing her lips, he mumbled, "I want to leave another child with you... to keep you company..."
A Male Beast in heat was utterly wild in bed, a fact Sang Luo was now experiencing firsthand. She was a little frightened by his loss of control—it was an all-consuming fervor, as if he meant to pour the rest of his life’s essence into her.
An entire month went by, and Sang Luo never managed to leave the bed. She was lost in the ebb and flow of desire, an ecstasy that bordered on agony.
When Lou Xianyue’s passion was finally spent and his mind cleared, he looked at the marks on her body, filled with both remorse and heartache.
It was the first time he had ever lost control like this. He had always been so perfectly attuned to her desires in bed. But this time... the passion he’d kept buried deep inside had erupted all at once.
"Sang’er, I’m sorry. Does it still hurt? Should I go get some ointment for you?" Lou Xianyue lowered his head, kissing every mark on her body, gently licking each ravaged inch of her skin.
Sang Luo huffed, a faint blush dusting her cheeks. She rolled over, pinning him beneath her, and bit down hard on his lip.
Lou Xianyue grunted softly. His gaze was a pool of liquid tenderness, as if inviting her to continue without mercy.
’So that’s why that old Phoenix is always biting me,’ she thought. ’The Poisonous Gu is part of it, but this kind of rough play... it’s intoxicating.’
Sang Luo bit Lou Xianyue several more times. Only when his body was also covered in her marks did she nod in satisfaction. Sitting astride his hips, she rubbed her stomach. "I’m starving. Take me to get something to eat."
"Okay."
Lou Xianyue started to get up to help her, but Sang Luo was already swinging her legs off the bed.
The next second, her legs gave out, and she nearly collapsed. Fortunately, Lou Xianyue’s reflexes were sharp, and he caught her. Sang Luo leaned on his arm, her own legs trembling. ’Overindulgence really takes a toll,’ she lamented internally. ’No one is getting into my bed for the next month!’
Lou Xianyue ordered a meal to be prepared, filled with all of her favorite dishes.
Thoughtfully, Lou Xianyue peeled shrimp and picked out crab meat and roe, placing it all in her bowl.
Sang Luo devoured the tender, sweet, snow-white shrimp meat with great satisfaction. Even after several bowls, she wasn’t full, so she took out some Spirit Fruits from her storage space and began to munch on them.
Lou Xianyue’s eyes brightened. "Sang’er, are you... pregnant?"
"I don’t know. We’ll have to wait a few days and see." Sang Luo sighed. She’d been with Fei Yuan for over a month without conceiving, so she’d become rather Zen about the whole thing.
"Conception rates are very high during a Mermaid’s mating season." Seeing she had finished all the shrimp in her bowl, Lou Xianyue peeled a few more.
Sang Luo finished all of those as well.
After eating her fill, an indescribable drowsiness washed over her. Lou Xianyue carried her back to the bedchamber to rest.
The sheets in the bedchamber had all been replaced with fresh ones. Lou Xianyue gently laid Sang Luo down on the bed, covered her with a soft Shark Sha quilt, and hummed a gentle melody, lulling her to sleep.
Lou Xianyue sat by the edge of the bed, his fair hand caressing her cheek, his eyes full of longing and affection.
"Sang’er..."
When Sang Luo woke up, she was alone. She instinctively glanced toward the window, then remembered that there was no sunlight in the Deep Sea, so she had no idea how long she’d been asleep.
She went to the study but couldn’t find Lou Xianyue. She ran into Uncle Su, however, who told her she had been asleep for a full day and night.
Uncle Su already had a meal waiting for her.
After eating, Sang Luo went to Chengen Hall to see Little Blue Eucalyptus.
Little Blue Eucalyptus was two years old, but the growth period for an Innate King Beast was much slower. The more talented the offspring, the longer their development took.
Little Blue Eucalyptus only looked a little bigger than he had a year ago, with no other significant changes. There was no telling when he would be able to take on his human form.
"Mommy, I found lots of pretty stones in the sea and made a bracelet for you." Little Blue Eucalyptus ducked into his small pool and, after a moment of searching, produced a colorful bracelet. It was made of stones from the seabed, the kind you couldn’t put a name to. Their sharp edges had been smoothed down, and it was surprisingly beautiful.
Sang Luo glanced at the stone slabs by the pool and saw that some were scratched. She quickly took Little Blue Eucalyptus’s hand and turned it over to check his palm. A Mermaid’s skin was fair and delicate, marking easily.
Sure enough, his small hands had several red marks.
She quickly cast a Healing Technique on him but didn’t scold him. Instead, she solemnly put the bracelet on her wrist. "It’s beautiful. Thank you for your thoughtfulness, Little An. Mommy will wear it always." Then she added, "But be more careful next time, sweetie. Don’t get hurt. The best gift you can give Mommy is to grow up healthy and strong."
"I will, Mommy!" Little Blue Eucalyptus wagged his fishtail happily, his azure eyes crinkling into crescent moons.
"Does Mommy have a reward for me, then?"
Seeing his eager expression, Sang Luo understood immediately. From her storage space, she produced a small bag of dried fish.
Lou Xianyue had mentioned he was partially weaned and could have some small snacks.
After Blue Eucalyptus had eaten his fill, Sang Luo wiped his mouth with a handkerchief, then picked him up and carried him outside for a walk.
Little Blue Eucalyptus suddenly asked, "Is Mommy going to have a baby?"
"Mhm, can you tell?" Sang Luo smiled, rubbing her belly. She’d had a feeling herself the last few days. Judging by her ravenous appetite and constant sleepiness, she was almost certain she was pregnant, though she hadn’t officially gone to a witch doctor for confirmation.
"Little An came out of Mommy’s tummy, too," he said. "I can feel it. There’s a little sister in there, one who shares my blood."
"Haha, and how do you know it’s a sister?"
"Little An hopes it’s a sister," Little Blue Eucalyptus said. "Mommy and Daddy already have me as a son, so you don’t need a brother. But Little An wants a sister." He continued, "Mommy doesn’t come home very often, and Daddy’s been really busy lately. He barely even comes back to the palace. Little An is very lonely in the sea all by myself. I want a sister to keep me company."
A pang of guilt struck Sang Luo. She had brought these children into the world, yet she couldn’t be there to watch them grow. All she could do was give them as much love as possible whenever she could. "When Mommy has time, I’ll come visit you and Daddy more often," she promised.
"Okay! I love Mommy the most." Little Blue Eucalyptus hugged her neck and planted a soft kiss on her cheek, his skin carrying the light scent of the ocean.
Sang Luo smiled and nuzzled his small cheek in return. "But Mommy doesn’t know if I’m having a little brother or a little sister yet. If it’s a brother, then as the big brother, Little Blue Eucalyptus will have to take good care of him. No bullying, okay?"
"I know! Whether it’s a brother or a sister, Little An will love them very much!"
"Such a good boy." Sang Luo kissed his soft, fair cheek, her heart filled with joy. "Has your father been busy lately? He didn’t mention anything to me. What has he been up to?"
"I don’t know either. I haven’t seen Daddy much these past few months. Uncle Su is usually the one looking after me. I heard him say that Daddy’s not been feeling well recently..."
