Gacha Sovereign-Chapter 1177: First Blood

Leoz finally became a full-fledged God King after rushing his path due to the pressure that the beast left him. He came to terms with his own Law and decided to utilize it like how Alaya wanted him.

"Time for round two." Leoz smirked. Despite saying it was a Berserker Law, Leoz's expression remained calm, not showing even a remnant of it. Yet, the Lycan could see that Leoz became even more dangerous than he expected to the point he might lose against him.

No, it might be due to his Berserker Law that he understood what kind of phenomenon if someone went berserk. And this just showed how much he had control over it.

Rinrin, the Song Goddess, arrived at the same answer as the Lycan.

A high-pitched disturbing sound echoed on the battlefield as Rinrin actually changed her instrument to a guitar. And it was not a normal guitar. It was an electric guitar.

"Hahaha! Since Big Brother Leoz wants to play it that way, I will support you. Let's go crazy, baby!" Rinrin's personality flipped the moment she changed instruments. However, she could do something like this due to her Law. The one she mastered was not a Song Law. Instead, it was Sound Law.

This type of Law allowed her to control what kind of sound she wanted to produce. And she even bothered to practice all kinds of musical instruments she met.

Leoz shook his head helplessly before charging toward the Lycan. "Lightning Spirit Slash."

The Lycan gritted his teeth and threw a punch.

The clash produced a shock wave too, but more importantly, the Lycan's corrosive power and Leoz's Berserk Lightning managed to clash on equal ground, trying to cancel one another.

Due to Leoz's strength finally reaching the Lycan's real strength, Rinrin had enough time to understand the situation better and move accordingly.

The Lycan suddenly turned his head, finding Rinrin next to him.

"Sound Blast."

Teng.

The high-pitched sound sent a powerful Shock Wave that blew away the Lycan and grazed all over his body before the latter managed to get away, letting the residual attack hit an asteroid and blowing it up.

"Kh!" The Lycan leaped a bit far before howling to neutralize the Song Goddess's Sound Attack. Unlike the previous one, this shock wave felt so sharp. He even felt it was strong enough to cut him.

"You… Your power changes every time you use another instrument." The Lycan decided to assume this because if he observed the third or the fourth one, he would've gotten too many injuries. It was better to gamble it this way and prepare accordingly.

The Song Goddess only snorted and said, "Are you sure? I'm going to play another verse then."

A series of noises echoed in his ears. Although it still had the character of the previous sound, the shock wave that this tune summoned was a kind of a barrage attack.

The Lycan narrowed his eyes and released all his corrosive power that began to shake when the shock wave passed it. Luckily, it didn't go through his corrosive layer or it would be bad.

Leoz looked at her and sighed, "Such a weird power. But I guess it suits you…"

"Thank you." Rinrin smiled sweetly like a little girl who just received praise from her big brother. However, behind that smile was her scheming mind. She sent a thought transmission to Leoz. 'Big Brother. Protect me for fifteen minutes. I have a plan.'

White processing the message, the Lycan used this chance to attack them. He let out another howl to neutralize the Song Goddess's Sound Wave before she sent more and charged toward her. It was better to eliminate someone who had mysterious power first after all.

Unfortunately for him, Leoz appeared next to him with his sword swinging right at his neck.

The Lycan gritted his teeth and stopped that Sword with both hands, planning to leap toward the Song Goddess by using Leoz's giant sword as a stepping. However, he instinctively covered his cheek with his Corrosive Power before finding his jaw broken.

Leoz finally came into his vision as he found Leoz's fist punching his cheek and blowing him away.

After getting the Corrosive Power in his fist, Leoz remained calm and looked at the black energy. He used his Lightning Element to neutralize it, but the skin had been eroded, revealing his flesh and blood.

Due to the power behind this attack, he took another glance at Rinrin's stomach, where she got struck by the same power. Surprisingly, there was a hole in her stomach this whole time. Although it wasn't through her back, it still penetrated a few millimeters.

In other words, Rinrin had been fighting with that kind of condition. He couldn't help but feel embarrassed, thinking, 'She has gotten so much stronger. The kid who always needed protection the whole time had truly become a warrior… Though, she still couldn't fix her bad habit by letting her emotions take control of her when playing instruments…'

Leoz shook his head and charged toward the Lycan.

"Erosion Force!" The Lycan created torrential energy that flew toward Leoz, planning to stop him.

However, Leoz simply raised his hand as five black balls appeared in front of him, creating a bridge between each other by using the black lightning. They then charged powerful lightning energy in the middle as Leoz shot it to blast all this energy.

"Thunder God Cannon."

The two energies clashed with each other before the Lycan used it as a cover to close his distance to Leoz. Even if he wanted to stop the Song Goddess, Leoz had prepared to sacrifice his life, so he needed to finish this first.

Another high-pitched sound formed another shock wave. The Lycan once again used his howl to neutralize it and covered his claws with the Black Energy. "Erosion Claw."

Three crescent-shaped energies flew toward him. Leoz knew that the moment he destroyed this energy, the residual power would splash on his body, but the Lycan seemed to underestimate the real berserker.

Leoz simply slashed the sword with his power and charged forward without hesitation. There were a few burned marks on his arms and chest, but Leoz simply laughed and waved his blade, launching the Lycan even further.

He followed him and continued fighting since Rinrin said she had a plan.

Surprisingly, the Song Goddess kept changing her instruments. From electric guitar to a bass that formed a blunt shock wave, a saxophone that created a shock wave without a form, or even the flutes that could summon the shock waves from all directions by changing its tune.

After fifteen minutes, Leoz's body was covered with injuries while Rinrin kept using her current instrument, a flute, to summon more and more Sound Waves toward the Lycan, who seemed to be exhausted after expending its energy this whole time since he needed to fight two God Kings of the same level.

Rinrin played her flute and plugged three holes, changing the tune. Three Shock Waves appeared in different locations simultaneously.

"Get lost!" The Lycan roared again before his voice turned weird. There was a shriek in that howl as if he just lost his voice. "Wha—"

Rinrin smiled when she found this. "Right? You're relying on your own voice to fight against my sound. Unfortunately for you, my real title is Sound Goddess, but since it doesn't sound romantic in your ears, I have become a Song Goddess. Well, I love songs, so it's fine. But thanks to it, you haven't realized the fact that I'm trying to influence your own sound to the limit and mess up with your vocal cords.

"Now that you don't have the power to protect yourself from my power, it's time to step up my performance." Rinrin smirked and changed her instrument again. This time, she was playing with drums. Two sticks appeared on both hands as she smashed the drums with all her power, creating a tremendous shock wave.

"!!!" The Lycan widened his eyes, never expecting he would be cornered like this. He looked at the shock wave and used all his Corrosive Power to form a wall, but the Corrosive Power got blown away because it didn't have a solid form.

And the Shock Wave seemed to be targeting only the liquid form and avoided any solid objects because everything was concentrated in one place.

Yes, the noises were focused on the Lycan as if he got struck by an invisible enemy from the front.

Not wanting to give the Lycan a chance, Rinrin hit it a few more times, creating a melody.

As if becoming its complimentary tune, the few hits turned into a few shock waves that appeared on the Lycan's right, top, bottom, and behind, leaving only his left open.

The Lycan had no other choice than to raise his hands to guard all these shock waves until he found a way to escape, but the moment he found his left was empty, Leoz already appeared on his way.

"I don't want to waste more time on you!" Leoz ultimately got the chance from the Song Goddess's help despite wanting to protect her. He slashed his sword downwards, channeling all the lightning he had into his sword. "O' Ancient Thunder God, What is it that lies within your eyes? O Bright Thunder that splits the Heaven, rumbling tremors that shake the Earth, what pulse beats within your ears? Dwell inside me o' God of Lightning as I am Thunder Berserker, Spirit Vessel."

A giant Lightning Tribulation emerged from out of nowhere, lending all of its power into this one strike. All the yellow lightning was converted into black lightning in an instant, hovering around his sword.

"No!" The Lycan raised both hands, trying to stop that attack with his Corrosive Power, but Leoz's black lightning was more powerful than his expectation.

"Lightning God Slash!"

He let out all the power into that single attack, broke through the Lycan's power, and slashed the Lycan into two.
