He received no answers, only the trembling of his subordinates, who could not utter a word when they saw him so angry.

Although that made him even angrier, he did nothing else. He forced himself to calm down and turned away, leaving them free.

"The only reason a bunch of useless people like you are still alive is because you have one last mission to complete. It's impossible for you to fail at this, since it's the simplest thing in the world and there's no fun in it at all."

"What is it, sir?"

"All your forces will move to spread chaos in the city, but try not to reveal your identities. When chaos spreads, we will make a big move on our part. We will be helping you from the shadows, so if you fail at something so simple, I will kill you all."

Their mission was already one of desperation. All their recent missions had failed, which made him seriously consider things from another perspective.

They needed blood and corpses. Things couldn't go on as they were, because the plans would be greatly delayed.

But having received such a simple mission, everyone with him immediately nodded excitedly: "We'll do it!" they shouted.

BOM*

Suddenly, a sudden explosion occurred outside, followed by more explosions. The sound of metal cutting reached their ears, and they were alarmed.

But the explosions were so numerous that Alexander had to get up and look back. "We're under attack," he said, recognizing the sound of several traps being activated and the Clark defenses disappearing.

"And they're not just anything, to be able to deactivate the clan's defenses so easily," he revealed.

"Who the hell would dare attack us so openly? Are those guys crazy, or are they just really powerful?" Roy asked as he stood up.

"I don't think they're very powerful," he said and looked at the elf man behind them. "Sir..."

"Damn it. If they attack us, then we defend ourselves. What are you all standing there for? It's time for a counterattack!" he shouted.

Alexander and everyone else nodded before running away.

"Tsk, useless bastards," he thought and looked away. "Time to start hunting dead things and small fry," he thought, smiling softly.

He disappeared. Despite his tremendous power, he never noticed a pair of eyes watching him from a corner.

After a blink, he vanished.

"Saints in such a small town. You've certainly attracted attention, little one." He smiled. "Although this time it's more interesting. Altarcitus is still alive and strong, eh. How interesting." His thoughts disappeared along with his figure.

-

The attack on the Clark Family had involved much more powerful people, but the mercenaries and men of the Ann Family did not stop even after seeing that there were more clans and forces present.

Instead, they intensified their deadly attack, becoming more frantic as they realized they needed to take care of more things.

The sudden chaos and the Clark family's low morale ultimately sealed the fate of hundreds of their members and subordinates, to the point that when Alexander saw it, he went mad.

But that was just the beginning of the end.

The networks in this area had been cut off beforehand, so none of them could call their subordinates.

"If you won't let me call them, then let me see how you'll stop us!" Roy roared, launching himself to the top of a building and striking several of them.

Even so, his blow missed its target, as it was suddenly countered by a powerful strike that shook him to his core.

Then several figures materialized above the mansions surrounding them.

Five in total.

"Haha, catching the little leaders in a circumstance like this is truly a beautiful gift."

"Elliot." Alexander took two steps forward. "Is all this your doing?" he asked, surprised by the words coming out of his mouth.

That the most despised and humiliated member of his clan was now the one who had them on the ropes was a laughable situation, not because it was comical, but because it was pitiful.

Elliot leaped from the building and landed in front of him.

"All of you have been marked as the targets of my revenge since the moment I awoke. It has been a long journey to get here, for I have dreamed of killing you from the first day until today, but finally, it has all come to fruition. It has cost me a lot of money, but if it leads to destroying the foundations of a traitorous family, then it has been money well spent." He smiled.

Alexander frowned. "You intend to destroy the family that gave birth to you? You're supposed to belong to this family."

"Huh?" Elliot was surprised to hear him say those words so... mockingly, in such a serious manner. "What the hell are you talking about? Even though I have the Clark surname, do you think I belong to a bunch of trash like you? Did you think my mother and sister belonged too when you sent them to be killed?" He was furious.

Elliot felt his blood boil, so he had to calm himself down, but hatred rose up in his heart.

"You damned bastards don't deserve to call yourselves my family." He immediately drew his sword... it wasn't just any sword he had.

It was his most powerful sword, given to him by the Nurotauro. "That's why you're all going to die today. Every single one of you Clarks, whether or not you had anything to do with the betrayal I suffered. I swore to you once: I will have my revenge. My revenge began months ago, now it's simply time to collect it in full."

"Elliot... there are always mistakes you make in your life that will lead you to failure. Like your uncle, I am here to prevent you from failing so early. Let me advise you: retreat, and our forces will do you no harm. If you continue this... you will die in the worst possible way."

"Hahaha, Uncle? You're not worthy of being my uncle. Since everyone involved in the murder of my mother and sister is here, this is my golden opportunity. It's time for all of you to die!"

Alexander sighed. "Nothing to be done then," he said, lowering his head slightly.

"Is he giving up?" Elliot thought. Obviously, that was impossible.

Alexander suddenly smiled coldly and lunged at Elliot. "Then it's time for you to go through hell! The hell you were destined for since birth!" he roared.

A powerful weapon, possibly B-rank, appeared in his hand. He swung it at him, ready to kill him.

SWING*

Just then, a different sword crossed his gaze with its blade. The sword offered no resistance to such a sharp edge. Alexander was suddenly pushed back, and Elliot followed closely behind.

"Let me tell you something, dear uncle," he said sarcastically. "You think the difference between you and me is huge, since I was recently playing against your boys. But you couldn't be further from the truth."

"Tournaments are one thing... with rules," he sneered coldly. "And another thing entirely are battles to the death, with no rules and no audience!" His sword cut through Alexander's sword and soon approached his chest, inflicting a large wound there.

Alexander staggered backward, alarmed, looking at the small portion of the sword that remained in his hand.

"W-What? A Rank B sword... broken just like that?" It was then that he looked at the sword in Elliot's hands.

Adamantium.

The hardest and most powerful metal in existence, used for the creation of weapons.

"H-How can this be..." Although greed rose in everyone's bodies, Alexander only felt fear.

His greatest enemy... was not only a powerful Master with strength close to his own, but also had a weapon as powerful as his...

That was when he realized: they were doomed.

Because of a guy he could have killed a few months earlier, everything he had was about to come crashing down.

Even so, he tried to resist, while all his allies unleashed their powers and abilities.

Wizards of different kinds, swordsmen, and others. They all rushed forward to fight.

Just then, Elliot smiled.

"Come on, everyone. It's time to start this little final game: Death has knocked on your doors, and it has the name you hate so much!"

Not only did Elliot jump to the front, but Jenna, Andrew, Chris, and Rich came from behind.

Each of them had their own characteristic movements, as there were many people in this area, not just the leaders.

People who had been trained by the Anns and Elliot were still wreaking havoc, and news that the Misfits had launched a large-scale mission to sabotage several important groups began to hit the city.

Loen was large in area, but not so much in construction. Therefore, news began to arrive from all sides, and even those who were fighting heard about it.

As the battle between the two forces intensified and Elliot and his group momentarily separated from the leaders, the news hit.

The Clark Group was being sabotaged, along with all allied companies, including the Elemental Academy itself.

As Roy was the local director, he had to be there to calm things down, but just as the news finished coming in, Elliot and Andrew made a masterstroke, killing dozens of those guys' subordinates and advancing rapidly against them.

"The news coming in means it's time for the final blow. I'll tell you one more piece of news, Alexander: your family is being besieged from all angles. No Clark will escape today," he declared.

THUNDER*

A sound of thunder then echoed and a heavy downpour spread.
