Genetic Extra In The Apocalypse-Chapter 75: The fear of Storme II
Victor was lucky to have escaped in time, as the out-worlder’s humongous body, dropped to the ground with the force of a catapult, sending a thick tide of mud, high up into the air.
He couldn’t even explain what he had seen, one second he was about to go in for another life or death clash, leaving Sean to Malek to handle, when a black bolt tore through the air from the corner of his eye.
If he hadn’t managed to jump away on time, he was sure it would have ripped him through, blowing a hole in his chest, if he couldn’t tank it.
But whether he could tank it or not, didn’t matter. It would be completely stupid if he did try to tank it, even if he believed he could. If he wasted even a second on it, then he was guaranteed to die to the next slap of the out-worlder.
His eyes couldn’t help but constrict, his body trembling violently as he beheld what was in front of him.
A boy with white hair, that could no longer be called white, with how dirty it was... dark blue lightning that almost looked like black, dancing over his body like snakes, crouched atop the head of the behemoth, his fist folded against its temple.
The creature’s skull was clearly indented, showing a deep caving in its sacral bone that most likely, had shattered at the point of impact.
The boy on the other hand, asides being dirty didn’t seem like he had done anything worthwhile.
Victor gulped, like a broken record, he turned his face to the side, and his eyes trembled.
There, impaled to an earth spike, was the older man whom he had believed to be able to beat Sean, regardless of how powerful the boy must have become.
Much less he died to his own element, earth... His own attack even.
His eyes turned back to Sean’s, and the white haired kid of his age... or rather, the age of this face he was wearing, was staring back at him.
Those deep black eyes, surrounded by a ring of ruby irises that seemed to shine with their own light in the day, staring into his soul, like a beast studying its prey. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶
’What sort of Monster is this?’ he thought, his heart filled with dread.
It was true that the Whitlocks were monsters, but this just took it to another level. Killing a Stage-3 in one punch!
Worse still, he was sure Sean couldn’t exhibit this level of strength from the beginning. If he did, he wouldn’t be nearly as injured.
Now that he could finally see Sean well enough, as the latter rose from his crouching position, the still healing hole on his belly, finally sealing into red, uncovered flesh, before his very eyes.
There was not the slightest giveaway to be found in Sean’s expression, and that lightning...
A chill ran through his spine.
’Is that the fabled black lightning?’ He questioned himself.
However, he knew the question he was asking himself was a stupid one.
Though, the lightning flickering over the boy was almost black, and could even be mistaken for black by someone who couldn’t see well enough... The key word there, lied on almost.
It was almost black, but it wasn’t black.
When he looked at it, it did not give him any aura of danger. In fact, those snaking flickers, looked no more harmful that dancing ropes.
Ironically, that only made him fear the more.
He knew deep in his heart, that if Sean released a good enough bolt of this lightning on him, then he would undoubtedly die... Yet he didn’t feel the slightest hint of danger from it.
It was like the hose of highly pressurized water that could cut through even metal. The hose never seemed dangerous and in actuality, it might not even be, but what it could do...
*Crackle*
A tiny bolt shot past him, and his pupils dilated to their limits, his mouth opening wide out of pure instinct, and his heart nearly stopped.
*BOOM!*
Victor who was frozen in his spot, found his body shuddering with the sound of the explosion.
His neck turned like a broken clock to the side, and there... the spike that had impaled Malek, was shattered into stone piles.
The Malek himself in question, was nothing more than a charred humanoid figure, lying helpless on the floor.
Victor’s saliva ran dry.
Sean hadn’t said anything, but with each second that passed, it was as though Sean was breathing on his neck, telling him how much he would enjoy killing him, and would make sure to of course, torture him will enough, before killing him.
Thinking back to the night two weeks ago, when the same white haired boy, had been completely helpless in his hands, struggling and fighting desperately to survive... He couldn’t help but feel that he was truly unfortunate.
~Shuu! ~Shuu! ~Shiu! ~Shiu!!
More streaks of lightning shot off Sean’s body and bombarded the surrounding, causing Victor to flinch not less than once.
By the time he was done, the landscape was almost entirely unrecognizable.
Malek’s body had become nothing more than ash, that was blown away by the shockwaves of the minute explosions these lightning caused as they hit the ground.
But more than that, and the thing that truly made Victor question his life decisions...
Every trace of Malek or his presence, was wiped out... No, it wasn’t that it was totally wiped out. Instead, the place was chaotic enough, that nobody would ever suspect his existence in the first place.
And even more mind blowing, it looked so natural, as though an epic fight had occured here.
Before Victor could even appreciate it fully, he felt a fist drive into his guts.
Victor heeved over, his eyes widening to their limits, and all the air he took in, completely expelled from his lungs.
Before he could even react from that, a jet stream of water, shot towards him, and smack his chest with deadly force, covering almost the entirety of his torso, and throwing him away.
By the time his body touched the ground, he was already unconscious.
The lightning receded from Sean’s body, and he plopped to the ground, his muscles feeling sore all over, and a deep exhaustion settling on his mind.
As though on cue, about ten minutes later, a black haired young man arrived. Like a majority of vampires, he too had red eyes.
Upon seeing Sean, the boy walked over.
"Sean Storme?"
