Then he looked back at Lucifer.

"Could you tell me more about these ruins?" he asked. "Everything your Sacred Light Empire knows."

Lucifer straightened slightly, though the respect in his posture remained.

"To be honest, Master Apollo… we do few things, but it isn't much either," he admitted after a moment.

He glanced at the shattered battlefield around them before continuing.

"These ruins appear to have existed since before the previous eras. No one truly knows when they first appeared. However, one of our ancestors—who belonged to the Angel Clan—once entered this place by chance."

"That ancestor discovered many great treasures within the ruins," Lucifer said slowly. "Unfortunately, he was unable to retrieve the greatest treasure he found here."

"And that," he added, "is the true reason our Sacred Light Empire ventured into these ruins this time."

"In fact, he even found many great treasures, but he sadly wasn't able to take one of the best treasures he founded, which is also our true reason for venturing into these ruins."

Lucifer frowned slightly.

He paused.

"The valley he described was filled entirely with a sacred aura. There was no mention of this dark energy at all."
