Getting spoiled in a woman dominating world-Chapter 413: Bloody snow [6]
Brandon landed lightly on both feet, his boots sinking into the churned snow.
"Haa..."
*sleesh* Suddenly blood spikes erupted from the ground and impaled his chest.
*splurt*
"Argh-" His gaze trembled, and he slammed the spike and broke it.
Looking at the blood flowing from his chest, he quickly healed it with Dhayun’s skill.
’I-I am low on ether. Fuck... I cant even use the healing potions in my storage ring, because this bitch’s blood has poison.’
*woosh* In the next instant, she reappeared beside him. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺
The scythe came down, aimed to split him from head to groin.
He spun and raised both forearms in a high block.
CLANG
The chains on his arms blocked the blade and the impact rang like a bell, sparks exploding outward.
The force drove him to one knee, snow cratering beneath him.
He gritted his teeth, muscles straining against the crushing weight of her strike.
Pushing off the ground, he drove an uppercut straight toward her chin.
She leaned back, and the fist grazed her jaw, drawing fresh blood.
She counterattacked, and blood tendrils erupted from the snow, lashing toward his legs.
Brandon reacted instantly.
He kicked downward, amplifying the gravity on his boot, making the motion heavy as a sledgehammer.
CRUNCH
The tendrils shattered like glass under the blow, and the crimson mist burst outward.
The force rippled through the ground, snow exploding in a ring around him.
Rising inside her guard, he drove a knee into her stomach, and her breath exploded from her lungs in a choked gasp.
He followed with a hook to her ribs *CRACK* and silver flames detonated on contact, searing through her coat and into flesh.
"Urgh-" She staggered sideways, coughing blood.
He continued with a spinning backfist WHAM.
"Graargh-" The blow caught her across the cheek, snapping her head back.
She stumbled, her boots sliding in the snow and Brandon pressed the advantage.
He grabbed her wrist, the one holding the scythe and twisted sharply, forcing her to drop the weapon.
She snarled and with her free hand, she created a bloody dagger in her palm.
He caught her wrist mid-thrust, wrenching it backward.
*crack*
Bone snapped and she screamed in pain "ARRGHHH-"
He didn’t let go.
Instead, he pulled her forward, slamming his forehead into hers.
*CRUNCH*
’Wha-’
He released her wrist, grabbed her by the throat, and drove her downward, forcing her to lie flat on her back in the snow.
*thud*
Then he straddled her chest, pinning her arms with his knees.
She tried to twist free from his hold, but he raised his fist as silver flames roared along his knuckles.
And brought it down.
BOOM
The punch landed square on her face.
Her head snapped back into the snow, cratering the ground beneath her skull.
He didn’t stop.
Another punch *CRUNCH* and her cheekbone shattered.
Another *CRACK* and her jaw dislocated.
Blood sprayed with each blow, staining the snow dark red.
"Gurrgh-" She screamed furiously, blood bubbling from her mouth.
And her regeneration struggled as his silver flames clung to every wound, burning away the crimson ether before it could fully heal.
He punched again.
THUD
Her eye swelled.
Again.
CRUNCH
Teeth cracked.
Again.
BOOM
Her head snapped sideways as the force drove one side of her face inward, and her cheek collapsed, her eye socket cracked, and her jaw dislocated with a wet pop.
Her face became a bloody mess of ruin and is half-unrecognizable.
She stopped struggling.
Her body went limp beneath him.
Brandon paused with his raised fist, and short bursts of breath escaped his lips.
"Huff... Huff..."
Blood dripped from his knuckles onto her ruined face.
Each droplet landed with a soft *plip* on what was left of her cheek, sliding down the swollen, pulped flesh toward the snow.
He stared down at her and took the sword from his storage ring.
He raised it high, and the woman’s one good eye, which was barely open, met his eyes.
Her shattered lips trembled slightly as she spoke in a hoarse voice "Y-You are going to die too... from my poison..."
"See you in hell."
He brought the sword down, straight through her throat.
*sleesh*
It entered just above the collarbone, sliced through the windpipe and spine, and emerged from the back of her neck in a single, perfect motion.
*splurt* Blood fountained upward in a bright, arterial spray, arcing through the cold air before raining down on the snow in dark petals.
Her body convulsed a moment before her head snapped back against the ground with a dull thud.
The red eye in the sky blinked once, almost mournfully.
Then closed.
The tear in the skies sealed, and the sky returned to its dull, stormy gray.
Leaning his head on the blade’s hilt, Brandon exhaled "Huff... that was close."
But suddenly her body trembled, and numerous spikes surged from her corpse at point-blank range.
They shot toward him like a shotgun blast of blood spears.
sleesh-sleesh-sleesh-sleesh
"ARGHH!"
One spike sliced through each thigh, pinning muscle to bone.
Two pierced through his upper arms, while another one pierced his left shoulder, and another grazed his side.
Two more punched through his chest, narrowly missing his heart and lungs, but punching clean through ribs and out the back.
"Ghh-!"
His knees buckled.
The spikes held him, and every slight movement rubbed his bone against the spike, making it even more painful.
His gaze narrowed in pain ’Shit... I don’t have enough ether to heal these.’
The ether reserve he had recharged through intimate contact before the mission was nearly depleted.
Using the last dregs of power in his core, he forced the healing to prioritize.
"Urghhhhh-" Gritting his teeth, he pulled the spikes one by one from his body.
Green threads raced toward his chest and abdomen, sealing the punctured lungs, knitting the torn diaphragm, and stopping the internal bleeding that would have drowned him in minutes.
"Urgh..."
He prioritized healing his vital organs... and now all that remains is his shoulder, hands, and thighs.
He reached into his storage ring with trembling fingers and took two healing potions.
He popped the corks with his teeth and downed both one after another.
The liquid burned down his throat, then exploded through his body.
It quickly began to heal the holes on his body and knit the flesh wounds.
But the pain didn’t fade.
A searing heat ignited in his veins, spreading from every puncture wound like fire.
His blood felt like it was boiling and his cells were screaming as the woman’s poison took effect.
"URGHHHHH..."
He doubled over, slamming his palms into the snow as his fingers clawed at the frozen ground.
"FUCK... THE POISON."
Normal healing potions couldn’t cure her blood poison... only Dhayun’s unique skill could burn it away.
But right now, his ether core is dry, and he can’t use her healing skill.
The heat intensified.
It felt like his veins were melting from the inside out.
His vision tunneled as black spots danced at the edges, and his arms shook violently.
He collapsed forward onto his elbows, pressing his forehead into the snow.
"ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH-"
His body curled in on itself and convulsed as the poison tore through him.
And he could even feel his heartbeat getting slower.
The cold of the snow against his forehead was the only anchor keeping him conscious.
’Not... like this...’
Not after everything.
Not when the women waiting back home were counting on him.
He forced his eyes open, and Brandon clenched his fists in the snow until his knuckles split.
’I’m not dying here.’
He dragged himself forward... slowly toward Naevora.
However, at this time, he heard a familiar voice amidst the whistle of the snow.
"...Brandon."
