Kai didn’t doubt that this Enhanced Gift Pack would be better.

Right now, he was only praying that he’d get something really cool!

He wanted the Food Gift Pack to have better selections and include some spices, the Weapon Gift Pack to give him a machine gun or a rifle, the Stealth Gift Pack to give him an invisibility cloak, the Energy Gift Pack to give him Spirit Energy potions, the Transport Gift Pack to give him an ATV, or maybe even his Shelter Gift Pack to give him a bunker or something...

Kai couldn’t help but laugh at himself as he reached this thought.

Some of his wishes were just too unrealistic.

However, the only reason why he really wanted them to be special was because of his belief that his SSS Talent would soon adapt and change his Basic Gift Packs to Enhanced Gift Packs in the near future.

"Alright... Let’s open this bundle!"

Once again, the contents didn’t mention any specific details... Like what board game it was, what kind of books were there, what canned goods or rations would be given, and others.

Still, Kai didn’t complain and continued checking the rest.

Kai paused for a moment as he processed the new information.

He couldn’t help but frown at the Medical Gift Pack.

"Hmm... so the painkillers and antibiotics are gone... or maybe they’re inside the kit? Still, they gave me antiseptic wipes, disinfectant spray, and even surgical scissors. Splints and wound‑closure strips, too... That’s definitely more advanced... Interesting."

As for the Shelter Gift Pack, he couldn’t help but scratch his head. From a camping tent to a field tent that could probably fit multiple people was a great change.

Then came the Stealth Gift Pack. It had improved a lot.

"The camouflage suit turned into a ghillie suit. Instead of a silencer, they gave me smoke and stun grenades... plus a signal jammer? This is incredible... I hope it works against Swarmers to stop them from sending signals." Kai mused.

"Whatever... These Enhanced packs really are upgrades..."

Kai muttered as he checked the rest of them.

Contents: fire starter kit, wristwatch, compass, sturdy multi-tool knife, long rope, portable radio transciever set. ]

[ Transport Gift Pack (Enhanced)

Contents: mountain bicycle, protective riding gear, repair kit with spare parts, collapsible canoe. ]

"A wristwatch? That’s awesome, and wait... a collapsible canoe?" Kai muttered in disbelief.

Now, he was hopeful that his Weapon Gift Pack would provide something better.

Contents: semi‑automatic pistol with spare magazines, reinforced hatchet, combat knife, extra ammunition, tactical holster. ]

Kai’s eyes widened as he reached the Water Gift Pack.

"Hydration pack, and an insulated canteen... Wow. That’s a huge change." He muttered.

Then he checked the Weapon Gift Pack and smiled.

"From a revolver to a semi‑automatic pistol with spare magazines... That’s a serious upgrade. Faster reloads, more shots, and paired with a combat knife and hatchet? Plus extra ammo and a tactical holster. This pack actually feels like it’s built for real combat now."

Kai nodded to himself, satisfied.

"The Gift Packs are not just practical items anymore... They were more specialized. It’s like the system knows exactly what I’ll need out there."

Just like that, since they would be scouting for a new shelter soon, Kai decided to open the Weapon Gift Pack and the Stealth Gift Pack first.

"Awesome... A ghillie suit might be too much for me, but the others would appreciate this for sure." He muttered.

Then, while Kai was still busy sorting through the notifications, he heard faint voices outside his tent.

Well, the lights were still on, so it wasn’t surprising someone noticed.

But visitors at this hour? That caught him off guard.

He stepped out and saw two figures waiting. They were survivors, patients who had been rescued before Althea and Sera.

Kai recognized them immediately.

They had once been chained as living shields to the Sentinels...

Most of their group had perished, but these two had somehow survived through sheer luck and will to live.

Now, they stood in simple clothes with garments clearly meant for sleeping. The fabric clung lightly to their physique, almost enticing, but Kai forced himself to stay focused.

He cleared his throat and asked, "Why are you here?"

The two exchanged uneasy glances before speaking.

Soon, they explained that they had remembered something about their previous site, a place where humans were being kept like livestock.

"What of it?" Kai asked.

"I think with your current weapons and numbers... you can take it over," Sera said firmly. And of course, Kai now had to listen.

"Really? Tell me more about it..."

He hadn’t expected them to approach him now, let alone bring such information.

Still, whatever they remembered could change everything about their next move.

After listening to them for some time, Kai clenched his fist tightly.

It seemed they were no longer preparing to scout for shelter, they might be preparing to conquer an A.I. base instead!
