GLOBAL AWAKENING: My 10,000x Exp Multiplier-Chapter 25: []The Vitality Elixir, Hana’s True Awakening
The hidden interstitial glade on the 11th floor was perfectly still. It was bathed in the soft silvery glow of an artificial moon. Vahn Ryker stood near the center of the clearing. The chaotic burning energy of his recent Calamity Curse was entirely suppressed by Aria’s healing magic and his own mutated fire immunity.
He rolled his shoulders and felt the phantom weight of the digital universe settling comfortably over his avatar.
A few feet away, Hana was still spinning in a slow circle. She was thoroughly enchanted by the Sun Silk Aegis he had just crafted for her. The legendary coat fluttered like liquid obsidian and starlight. It automatically adjusted its thermal output to keep her perfectly comfortable. She looked like a princess born from a dying star with her deep purple eyes wide with genuine unfiltered joy.
But Vahn wasn’t finished.
"Hana, come here," Vahn said. His voice shed the cold clinical monotone he usually reserved for combat. He sounded remarkably human right now. He was just an older brother checking on his sibling.
Hana skipped over. The heavy debilitating fatigue that usually anchored her real world body was completely absent in the digital space. "What is it? Did you suddenly realize you forgot to craft me a matching tiara? Because honestly, my aesthetic is only halfway complete."
Vahn offered a soft genuine smile and shook his head. "Your aesthetic is fine. But your baseline code is still severely compromised. The Aegis will stop external kinetic force. However it does nothing to repair the internal structural damage of your physical body."
Aria stepped closer. Her emerald eyes filled with intense curiosity. She leaned in slightly and the scent of cherry blossoms washed over Vahn as she peered at his hands. "You are talking about the data bleed, aren’t you? The Convergence. You are trying to use the system healing parameters to overwrite her real world illness."
"Exactly," Vahn replied and didn’t back away from her proximity. He glanced at Aria and held her gaze for a second longer than necessary. "You are remarkably quick to catch on Priestess. It is statistically pleasing."
Aria’s face instantly flushed a brilliant shade of crimson. She stumbled backward and nearly tripped over the hem of her new Crimson Lotus Vestments. "I... what?! I am simply analyzing the data! Stop making tactical observations sound like that!"
Sia Vance stood perfectly rigid near the edge of the glade. She thumped her heavily armored fist against her new obsidian kite shield. "Commander, if the Priestess is malfunctioning, I can provide secondary medical support. I have basic bandages."
"I am not malfunctioning!" Aria shrieked and buried her face in her hands.
Hana giggled loudly and leaned against Vahn’s arm. "You are both so easy to tease. It is actually embarrassing. But seriously Vahn. What are you doing?"
Vahn’s expression sobered. He pulled up his inventory interface with a swift flick of his wrist.
"I am securing my lifeboat."
He retrieved three items and let them float in the anti gravity field between his hands. The first was a vial of boiling molten blood harvested from the Level 40 Mutated Inferno Drake. The second was a massive cluster of the Slime Jellies he had crashed the local economy to acquire. The third was a rare luminescent herb he had pulled from the Spire’s lower levels.
To any alchemist in Aetheria, combining these ingredients was a recipe for a localized explosion. The thermal properties of the drake blood would instantly vaporize the slime. The herb would catalyze the reaction into a highly toxic gas.
But Vahn was an EXP Architect. He didn’t follow the crafting rules. He rewrote them.
"System," Vahn commanded. His voice carried an absolute and unyielding authority. "Access the Conversion Interface. Target: Primary Alchemical Synthesis. Override standard elemental reactions. Bind the thermal energy of the drake blood to the restorative properties of the Slime Jelly."
[System Warning]
↳ Materials are fundamentally incompatible.
↳ Failure rate: 99.9%.
"I dictate the probability," Vahn stated smoothly. "Allocate five million experience points. Force a structural evolution."
The glade erupted in a blinding flash of golden light.
The massive reservoir of raw data poured from Vahn’s fingertips. It completely bypassed the physical limitations of the ingredients. The EXP aggressively hammered the volatile elements together. It broke down their atomic structures and rewove them into a singular cohesive code.
The boiling heat of the dragon blood cooled. It turned into a rich glowing crimson liquid that swirled like trapped starlight inside a newly formed crystal vial.
[Item Crafted: Elixir of Primal Vitality]
↳ Grade: Mythic
↳ Description: A supreme alchemical miracle.
↳ Consuming this item permanently restructures the user base cellular code. Eradicates all internal debuffs, diseases, and localized physical anomalies. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶
↳ Grants +10,000 to base Health Regeneration.
Vahn snatched the vial from the air before it could fall. He looked at it. The crimson light reflected in his deep purple eyes. The math was flawless. The code was absolute.
He held the vial out to his sister.
Hana stared at the glowing liquid. Her playful demeanor entirely vanished. In the real world, her body was a prison. Her autoimmune disease kept her locked in a cramped apartment. She was reliant on a cane and her lungs constantly fought for air.
She looked up at her brother. Her eyes shined with unshed tears. "Vahn... will this actually work? Out there? In the real world?"
"The boundaries between Aetheria and Earth are already degrading Hana," Vahn said softly. "The system data is bleeding into our physical reality. When you drink this, the code will latch onto your neural link. It will download directly into your biological framework."
"You won’t just be healed in the game. You will be completely and structurally perfect."
Hana reached out with a trembling hand. She took the vial. She didn’t hesitate or ask for reassurance. She trusted her brother more than she trusted gravity. She popped the crystal stopper and downed the glowing crimson liquid in a single fluid motion.
For a second, nothing happened.
Then Hana gasped.
A radiant warm pulse of golden energy erupted from her chest. It expanded outward in a visible shockwave that rustled the grass in the glade. Her avatar began to glow. But this wasn’t just a digital particle effect.
Vahn’s Chronos Sight snapped online to map the data flow. He watched as the Mythic tier code aggressively surged through her neural connection. It bypassed the virtual headset she was wearing in the real world and directly rewrote her physical cells.
Hana dropped to her knees. Her hands flew to her chest. She took a breath. It was a massive deep shuddering inhale.
"Oh my god," Hana whispered with a trembling voice. "Vahn. My chest... it doesn’t hurt. It doesn’t feel heavy."
She stood up slowly. Her movements were entirely devoid of the subtle lingering hesitation that had plagued her entire life. She bounced on the balls of her feet. She took another deep breath and filled her lungs to maximum capacity without a single cough or stutter.
Tears streamed freely down her face. She practically launched herself forward and collided with Vahn in a massive crushing hug. "Thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
Vahn let out a soft breath and wrapped his arms around his sister. For a moment, the cold calculating System Administrator disappeared entirely. He was just a brother who had finally managed to keep his family safe. He rested his chin on the top of her head. "You are welcome Hana. Your baseline health is now optimal."
Aria watched the scene. A warm genuine smile broke across her face. She reached up and discreetly wiped a tear from her own eye. She had always feared Vahn’s ruthless efficiency and the way he viewed the universe as a giant spreadsheet of expendable data.
But looking at him now, holding his sister as if she were the only thing that mattered, Aria realized something profound. Vahn wasn’t cold. He simply hoarded his humanity and saved every ounce of his warmth for the people he actually cared about.
Sia Vance aggressively cleared her throat. She violently polished her obsidian shield to hide her own emotional reaction. "Commander. The perimeter is secure. The target health parameters have been optimized. What are our next orders?"
Vahn slowly pulled back from the hug but kept a reassuring hand on Hana’s shoulder. He turned toward the dark heavily shadowed pathway leading out of the interstitial glade. The warm human moment faded. It was replaced instantly by the sharp predatory confidence of the Architect.
"We are currently resting on the 11th floor. The Spire is rapidly destabilizing and the major guilds are currently bottlenecked on the 13th floor," Vahn stated. His eyes glowed with faint azure circuits. "It is time we stop walking and start sprinting. We are going to bypass the elite factions, secure our funding, and break the upper thresholds."
"The 13th floor?" Aria asked. Her tactical mind quickly caught up. "That is the Bridge of Sighs. I have read the forum posts. The Sky Sunder Guild has completely locked it down. They are charging a massive toll for any party trying to cross the chasm and they kill anyone who refuses to pay."
Vahn let out a short dismissive laugh. "They are welcome to try and charge me. But we aren’t taking the bridge Aria."
"Then how do we cross?" Sia asked and stepped forward. She was ready to follow him into the abyss.
"We exploit the architecture," Vahn smiled. It was a terrifying brilliant expression that promised absolute chaos. "The developers left a flaw in the geometry. I am going to teach you all how to walk on thin air."
