GLOBAL AWAKENING: My 10,000x Exp Multiplier-Chapter 63: []The Data Trail, Breaching the Imperial Vault
The ruined streets of Sovereign City sat just outside the protective boundary of the White City dome.
A thick and gray fog covered the ruined landscape.
The area was totally silent. The only sound was the crunch of shattered concrete beneath Vahn Ryker’s boots.
Vahn walked with absolute purpose.
His [Verdant Chronos-Sight] was fully engaged. His deep purple eyes glowed with a complex matrix of blue and green circuit lines.
To his team, they were navigating a blind and chaotic wasteland.
But to Vahn, the world was a perfectly illuminated blueprint!
Hovering in the air and weaving through the burnt-out husks of corporate skyscrapers was a glowing red thread of corrupted data.
It was the spatial wake left behind by the Imperial Thief’s dimensional jumps.
"He can only phase every four seconds," Vahn noted.
His voice was a calm and analytical drone that easily cut through the howling wind.
"He relies on short localized bursts of spatial manipulation rather than long-distance teleportation. "He thinks the fog is covering his tracks."
"It is a good strategy against standard players. Although it is entirely useless against me."
Behind him, Sia Vance maintained a flawless vanguard formation.
Her massive obsidian kite shield was raised. It radiated a faint thermal heat that kept the biting chill of the wasteland at bay.
Her silver-grey eyes darted frantically into the fog.
Her posture was rigid with lingering frustration from her failure at the auction house.
"Commander, "I cannot see anything out there." Sia reported as her knuckles turned white around the grip of her short-sword.
"Whatever that thief did when he vanished is messing with my ability to track threats. If we get ambushed out here, I will not see it coming until it is already on top of us."
"There will be no ambushes, Sia." Vahn replied without looking back.
He raised his right hand and casually flicked his index finger.
A fifty-meter radius of raw golden experience points pulsed outward from his body. It created an invisible localized gravity well.
"I adjusted the area around us. Any hostile entity that enters our vector will be subjected to a three-hundred percent increase in downward kinetic force."
"They will be crushed before they even arrive."
Aria walked closely behind Vahn.
Her clean Crimson-Lotus Vestments glowed brightly in the dark. She clutched her wooden staff tightly to her chest.
Her emerald eyes were fixed on Vahn’s back.
She could see the faint rhythmic pulse of his mana pathways straining under the sheer processing load of his Mythic-tier ocular skill.
"You are pushing yourself to process things no living person was built to handle," Aria warned.
Her voice carried that fierce and protective anxiety she could never quite hide.
She stepped closer. The sweet scent of cherry blossoms washed over him as she extended her localized healing aura to cover his avatar. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
"I appreciate the diagnosis, Aria," Vahn said with a faint smile. "But we are almost there."
He leaned slightly into her restorative warmth.
"The trail stops here. This is the place."
Vahn halted.
The glowing red thread of data plunged directly into the side of a massive skyscraper.
It was a brutalist monument of black iron and reinforced glass. It was entirely devoid of the physical damage that had leveled the rest of the financial district.
"A dead end?" Sia frowned as she stepped up to examine the solid wall.
She tapped her sword against the black iron. It rang with a heavy and impenetrable thud.
"The structural integrity of this building is flawless. It must be heavily warded."
"It is not a building." Hana’s cheerful voice crackled over their internal comms.
The Faction’s Logistics Anchor was safely stationed back in the penthouse of the White City. She was monitoring their progress via Vahn’s shared data link.
"I am running a cross-reference on the pre-Convergence city grid. That skyscraper should not be there. It is a localized architectural override."
"It is the Imperial Vault." Vahn confirmed.
His Verdant Chronos-Sight broke down the fake geometry of the wall.
"It is a subterranean fortress utilized by the Syndicate to hoard their illegal assets. The thief did not steal the Twin Coin for himself."
"He is a corporate mercenary bringing the prize back to his employers."
"Then we knock." Sia declared as she hefted her shield.
"We do not knock, Sia." Vahn said.
His tone dropped into absolute and terrifying authority.
"We evict."
Vahn did not draw the Soul-Bound Shadow Blade.
He simply placed his bare hand flat against the impenetrable black iron of the vault’s exterior.
He tapped into his massive reservoir of stored EXP and funneled it directly into his Architect permissions.
"System. Target: Imperial Vault exterior rendering matrix. Override molecular cohesion. Reduce structural density to absolute zero."

The heavy black iron did not explode. It simply ceased to be solid.
The massive wall dissolved into a cascade of harmless blue pixels.
It revealed a sprawling and hyper-modern subterranean hangar illuminated by harsh crimson security lights.
The interior of the vault was staggering.
Rows upon rows of heavily armored transport vehicles, massive crates of high-tier weaponry, and glowing containment units filled with hundreds of Origin Crystals lined the walls.
The Syndicate had not just been hoarding wealth. They had been building a private army!
Standing in the center of the hangar and frozen in absolute shock was the Phantom Rogue.
He had just handed the Twin Coin to a group of five heavily armored Syndicate Enforcers.
The alarms instantly blared!
The screeching sirens echoed through the vault.
"Intruders!" One of the Enforcers roared.
He raised a massive multi-barreled rotary cannon.
"Kill them! Vaporize the entrance!"
"Sia. Hold the line. Aria. Keep us standing." Vahn commanded.
"Holy Blessing!" Aria shouted and slammed her staff into the floor. A wave of warm pink-gold light washed over the team.
Sia moved like a blur of silver and black.
She did not dodge the incoming hail of heavy artillery fire. She planted her boots and raised her Mythic-tier obsidian shield.
She absorbed the devastating barrage of plasma rounds.
The kinetic redirection matrix in her shield glowed white-hot.
It violently compressed the energy before she unleashed it in a singular and massive wave of thermal fire.
It instantly slagged the Enforcer’s cannon into molten ruin!
"Snacks!" Kora hissed telepathically.
The tiny dragon-girl materialized from the shadows and launched herself at the automated laser turrets mounted on the ceiling.
She unhinged her jaw and inhaled a massive volley of energy beams as if they were noodles.
She let out a highly satisfied burp that shattered the turrets’ targeting sensors.
Vahn did not run.
He walked directly through the chaos. His eyes were locked entirely on the Phantom Rogue.
The thief panicked.
He activated his spatial phasing skill. His body dissolved into dark mist as he attempted to slip into the void.
"System. Activate Architect’s Domain." Vahn dictated smoothly.
"Lock spatial coordinates. Anchor to physical density."
The golden and geometric grid of his domain slammed down over the hangar.
The thief’s phasing skill was violently rejected by the engine.
The rogue was forcefully ripped back into reality.
He materialized right in front of Vahn, stumbling and gasping for breath.
"You cannot catch me!" The thief choked out.
He wildly swung his venom-laced daggers at Vahn’s throat.
Vahn did not dodge.
He utilized the passive effect of his mutated base Strength. The Force of the Void.
He threw a casual and unenhanced punch directly at the incoming blades.
Vahn’s fist bypassed the physical plane of the daggers entirely. He struck the thief squarely in the chest.
The impact sounded like a detonating bomb!
The rogue’s high-tier stealth armor crumpled like wet tissue paper.
The thief was launched backward and crashed into a stack of weapon crates.
Vahn casually picked up the Twin Coin from where it had fallen on the floor.
He flipped the glowing artifact in his hand and slipped it into his pocket.
He looked around the massive and silent vault.
The remaining Enforcers were dead. The defenses were offline.
Millions of credits worth of Syndicate assets were completely unguarded.
"Commander?" Sia asked while breathing heavily as she lowered her shield.
"What do we do with all of this?"
Vahn smiled.
It was a cold and predatory expression that promised absolute ruin for the elite lords of Sovereign City.
"Hana." Vahn spoke into the comms.
"Open up the vault back home. We are not just taking the coin. We are taking the entire bank."
