Two days.

Listening to the rumors, he returned back to his human form, quickly closing down the window.

He smiled internally "Apostle of an unknown god huh?" He chuckled, "Its quite close tho"

"But I understand that they wouldn’t believe if I even claimed to be a deity" He smirked.

"But my plans are going quite well"

"Within a span of two days, I’ve accumulated six victims, since I don’t really need to sleep"

"Each night was quite satisfying to me" He sighed deeply, "But sleeping with this women gives me nothing"

"They all have low lust aptitude, not even worthy of giving me a single cosmic essence" He scoffed.

He lingered for moment "When will I fuck that village chief?"

Just then a loud knock was heard on his door, Kyle slightly tilted his head, he glanced at the door.

His eyebrows furrowed "Who’s there?" Kyle asked.

He waited for a moment, expecting an answer but that answer never came.

Another knock was heard.

He took a deep breath, "Mortals are really disrespectful" He sighed, he approached the door.

The door sprang open, Kyle was left frozen in shock.

Dumbfounded to see his very target, Cory Renova standing before him, instead of him devising means of meeting Cory Renova.

Cory Renova has come to see him.

His lips curled into a faint smile "Cory Renova?" Kyle asked.

Cory wasn’t shocked by the fact that Kyle knew him, there are only two Jade Knights in this village.

It’s understandable that someone like Kyle is aware of his existence.

Cory nodded, he stood emotionless, his eyes evaluated Kyle before speaking "And you must be the visitor Kyle?" Cory asked.

Kyle nodded "Sure, that’s me.....may I know why a distinguished figure like you has come to pay me a visit?" Kyle asked.

Cory lingered for a second before answering "It’s simple" He answered, "My sister, the village chief has summoned you"

"You are quite famous, this days.....Mr. Kyle, I was personally sent here to ensure your safety" He answered.

Kyle nodded with a chuckle "Its not my fault that every women wants to have a taste of me"

"I’m just better" He bragged, upon hearing his pompous words, Cory couldn’t help but smile.

"Is that so?" He asked with a chuckle, "I’m quite impressed Mr. Kyle, there are quite the numerous rumors I hear, things said about you"

"For one, you are quite strong enough to control almost every soldiers mind to obey you"

"That is a dangerous skill right there and secondly the fact that you are the apostle of a strange god"

"Could that be a lie or is it the source of your strange power?" Cory asked. Kyle could see his eyes brimming with curiousity.

Kyle giggled softly "I’ve heard of such rumors, if it wasn’t true....I would have denied such claims"

Cory’s eyes widened in shock "Oh? Those weren’t lies? So those mysterious gods exist?" He asked.

Kyle nodded "Sure, the gods exist, why do you think your world exist in the first place"

"It is created so the gods can rule over it" Kyle answered. It truly wasn’t a lie, this is a newborn star.

And it was truly created to be governed by the gods.

Cory’s eyes gleamed "Then tell me, Mr. Kyle, which god do you serve?" He asked.

Kyle paused for a moment "That is a question I can’t answer now, you said I’ve been summoned by the village chief right?"

"I’ll tell you after I’m done, when you’re ready.....you can come to me, I’m always here"

"Once everything is over, I’ll tell you about the God of Lust"
