God-Tier Fishing System-Chapter 602
Sylren narrowed his eyes and fixed his gaze on Alina’s spirit body.
The originally solid figure had become faint, like mist under sunlight. The edges flickered, and even the aura it emitted was unstable.
A trace of understanding surfaced in his mind, followed by cold delight.
"So that’s how it is..."
He sneered inwardly.
"After all, she isn’t a pure White March. The bloodline secret art is flawed. The spirit body is bound to the fluctuations of the main body’s aura."
"In a true White March, the spirit clone could exist independently for a long time. But this woman’s cultivation is suppressed, her aura unstable. Naturally, the spirit body can’t last."
A smile spread across Sylren’s face.
He had found her weakness.
Turning his head slightly, he transmitted his thoughts to his sister.
"Little sister, stop holding back. Her spirit body is imperfect. As her main body weakens, the spirit body will collapse even faster."
"So that’s it?" Verelia’s lips curled upward.
"That’s excellent."
The long sword in her hand ignited with red-orange Golden Crow Flame. The fire roared and twisted, distorting the surrounding space as if even the air itself could not endure its heat.
Alina’s pupils shrank.
"It was still discovered..."
She inhaled deeply.
In that instant, she suppressed the demonic aura in her body to the extreme. The turbulence calmed, like a tide suddenly receding.
Then, in the next breath—
Boom!
Terrifying spiritual energy surged out violently, like a mountain torrent bursting through a dam.
Alina’s hair fluttered wildly as her aura climbed instead of falling.
She was half human, half demon. And despite her bloodline’s demonic origin, her strongest strength had always been her spiritual energy.
Boom boom boom!
The shockwaves generated by her spiritual energy tore through the air, triggering sharp howls of wind.
Verelia struck, sword flashing like a falling star.
Alina’s figure shifted lightly. Each step left behind a fleeting afterimage, as if flowers bloomed beneath her feet. She narrowly avoided Verelia’s sword again and again, her movements precise to the extreme.
Verelia’s expression darkened.
"What terrifying control... her aura is rising instead of falling?"
At the same time, Alina’s spirit body finally reached its limit.
It trembled violently, then shattered into countless points of light, dispersing silently into the air.
When Sylren saw this, his smile widened.
He let out a sharp cry and transformed back into his true form.
A massive three-legged Golden Crow spread its blazing wings, flames trailing behind it as it shot toward Ethan like a falling sun.
"In terms of speed," Sylren sneered, "birds reign supreme!"
Below, Ethan sensed the scorching wind closing in on his back.
He activated the Celestial Jade Physique Scripture fully. His Original Pill spun madly, power surging through his meridians like roaring rivers.
His speed climbed again.
Whoosh—!
Two streaks of light chased one another around the enormous canopy of the Hibiscus Sacred Tree, their paths intertwining like lightning serpents.
The distance between them shrank rapidly.
But so did Ethan’s distance to the next hibiscus fruit.
"Stop right there!" Sylren roared.
He spread his wings wide. Dozens of flaming blade-like feathers condensed instantly, glowing with terrifying heat.
With a violent flap, the blades shot forward.
Ethan sensed the danger. He twisted his body midair, retreating as he raised his palm.
Golden energy surged outward, condensing into a shimmering light shield.
Bang bang bang!
The flaming blades struck the shield, exploding into waves of fire, but none broke through.
"That’s all?" Ethan laughed softly. "This won’t stop me."
He turned forward again.
At that moment, his eyes darkened. Black patterns crept up his neck like living veins.
The power of the Onyx Orchid awakened.
Ethan’s aura surged, deeper and heavier, as if an ancient beast had opened its eyes within him.
His speed increased once more.
Boom!
The air tore apart. Sonic booms echoed as he cut through space, golden ripples spreading behind him.
Sylren’s pupils contracted.
"What?! His aura... it got stronger again?!"
"No—this speed... I can’t even catch up!"
Fury flooded Sylren’s chest.
He immediately transmitted his voice upward.
"Two of you, break away and help me stop the human below!"
Above, the battlefield was in chaos.
The seven three-legged Golden Crows held a clear advantage, pressing Veyr and the others back step by step.
Upon receiving Sylren’s command, two Golden Crows disengaged at once, diving downward like twin meteors.
With their departure, the pressure on Veyr and the others dropped sharply. Facing five Golden Crows was still dangerous—but at least they could breathe.
Veyr glanced downward, frowning.
"Who is that man?"
"When did the human the Lord White Emperor noticed at the entrance sneak into Spiritual Valley?"
He transmitted his voice to Alina.
"Junior sister, are you alright?"
"I’m fine," Alina replied calmly.
"Focus on holding them back. Retreat if necessary. Leave the rest to Ethan."
"Ethan?" Veyr repeated, disbelief lacing his tone.
"That human?"
"Yes."
Veyr clenched his teeth.
"Junior sister, isn’t it reckless to trust someone we just met?"
He couldn’t hide his dissatisfaction.
He had pursued Alina for years, exhausting every method, yet never earned even a smile.
And now—a stranger appeared, and she entrusted everything to him?
Alina’s reply was cold.
"Senior Brother Veyr, are you worrying too much?"
"If you’re capable, break through and pick the hibiscus fruits yourself."
Veyr fell silent.
Her words struck directly at his pride.
He roared in frustration, smashing his fists forward and forcing back the Golden Crow attacking him—but in return, scorching flames licked his body, burning patches of his hair black.
Still, he could only grit his teeth.
Because she was right.
Not to mention picking hibiscus fruits—surviving against these five Golden Crows was already difficult.
"Ethan... is it?" Veyr’s eyes burned with resentment.
"Once we leave the Training Trial Secret Realm, if I get the chance, I’ll make you regret this!"
Below, Ethan arrived at the fifth hibiscus fruit.
The fruit swayed gently, emerald light pulsing like a living heart. A fragrance drifted outward, attempting to invade his senses.
Ethan’s gaze remained calm.
A jade knife appeared in his hand.
He was already familiar with picking hibiscus fruits.
A/N:
Hey guys, I wanted to say this properly.
First of all, thank you. Seriously. Every gift, comment, and bit of support means a lot to me, and I’ve never taken it lightly.
That said, I’ve decided to stop doing extra Chapters for gifts. Writing under that kind of pressure has started to affect how I write and enjoy the story, and I want to keep this sustainable and fun in the long run.
Please don’t feel like you need to send gifts. Just reading, commenting, and sticking with the story already supports me more than you think.
Thanks for understanding, and for being here with me. I really appreciate you all.
