God-Tier Fishing System-Chapter 676
His mind stirred slightly. A sphere of radiance condensed in his palm.
"Master, please accept this. It contains the method of controlling the Sky Suppressing Turtle Shell and the Heaven Burning Ten Thousand Fire Formation."
Ethan extended his hand. The luminous sphere drifted forward and hovered before Ash Burn.
"Then I shall accept it."
Ash Burn raised his hand and absorbed the light into his brow and took the turtle shell.
"Master, this disciple will take his leave."
"Go. When you walk the world, place your safety first. If you can fight, then fight. If you cannot fight, then run. As long as the green hills remain, there will be firewood."
"Yes."
Ethan cupped his hands respectfully and turned to depart.
After taking a few steps, he paused and glanced back with a faint smile.
"Master, this disciple has prepared a surprise for you. You will know in a few days."
"A surprise? You have learned to play mysterious tricks now."
Ash Burn laughed heartily.
Ethan did not elaborate further. He left Demon Sealing Cave.
"This child has finally grown into a supreme powerhouse in his own right."
"In the future, the name Ethan will surely shake the entire continent."
Ash Burn’s voice carried firm conviction.
From the very beginning, he had seen something extraordinary in this disciple and believed Ethan would raise Azure Origin Dao Sect to unprecedented heights.
Ethan did not leave the sect immediately. Instead, he walked toward Liana’s residence.
"It has been long. I wonder how Junior Sister Liana fares."
He passed through a quiet bamboo grove and arrived before a tranquil courtyard. Raising his hand, he knocked gently.
"Who is it?"
Two light, somewhat sleepy voices drifted from within.
"It’s me. Ethan."
"Dad!"
"Senior Brother Ethan!"
Surprise rang out in unison.
Creak.
The door opened.
Solara stood at the entrance, eyes widened in delight, her face bright with happiness. The young girl of the past had grown tall and graceful.
Behind her stood Liana, dressed in a white brocade robe.
She remained as beautiful as ever, yet the playful spirit she once carried had settled into maturity. Her bearing was steady and composed. As the new sect leader of Azure Origin Dao Sect, she possessed both elegance and authority.
"Dad, you are back. You did not even take me along to the Demon Territory."
Solara puffed her cheeks in complaint.
"Little girl, the Demon Territory is not a place for you."
"I am already an Upper demon lord."
Solara raised her arms proudly as if displaying strength.
"Go and amuse yourself. I have matters to discuss with your Aunt Liana."
"Oh."
Solara muttered softly and stepped aside, closing the door behind her.
Liana stood quietly before Ethan. Her lips trembled slightly. Her fingers tightened into her sleeves. A faint grievance lingered in her eyes, shimmering with moisture.
Ethan stepped forward and drew her into his arms.
Liana felt the warmth she had longed for. She wrapped her arms around him tightly, as if wishing to merge him into herself so that he would never leave again.
She rubbed her cheek lightly against his chest before pulling back to look up at him.
Her eyes shone. A blush spread across her fair face.
Outside the door, Solara peered through a narrow gap. She quickly covered her eyes.
Not suitable for children.
Moments later, hurried footsteps approached.
An elder arrived in haste. Seeing Solara at the door, his face paled.
"Why are you here?" he asked anxiously.
"Can I not be here?" 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
"You can, you can. I only meant, why are you alone? Where is the sect leader?"
"In the courtyard."
"I must see her."
"My father has returned. You may wish to reconsider."
"Your Majesty has returned?"
Shock flooded the elder’s face.
After Liana became sect leader, she formally bestowed upon Ethan the title Boundless Lord. Throughout Azure Origin Dao Sect, that was how they addressed him.
"Your Majesty has returned. Good."
The elder clenched his fists and hurried forward.
"Sect Leader. Your Majesty. Forgive my intrusion at this hour. I bring urgent news."
Liana separated from Ethan. Though her cheeks still held a trace of warmth, her composure returned instantly. She waved her sleeve. The courtyard gate opened.
"I greet Your Majesty. I greet Sect Leader."
The elder bowed deeply.
"Speak."
Ethan’s voice was calm.
"Noble Sun City has sent urgent word. Pavilion of Heavenly Secrets has allied with several forces and is advancing."
"The master of Blood Tavern has appeared but was besieged by Pavilion of Heavenly Secrets and many experts."
"Reinforcements from Myriad Treasures Pavilion were ambushed before even leaving Verdant Lantern Empire."
"The master of Pavilion of Heavenly Secrets threatens to massacre Noble Sun City if the artifact and you are not handed over."
The elder presented a jade slip with trembling hands. Anger thickened his voice.
Liana’s expression shifted. She received the jade slip and glanced at Ethan.
"I understand. You may withdraw. Leave the matter to me."
"Yes."
The elder bowed solemnly.
With Boundless Lord present, Pavilion of Heavenly Secrets would not depart intact.
"Senior Brother Ethan, Pavilion of Heavenly Secrets has gathered many forces. Their momentum is fierce. They clearly target you."
"I arrived at the right time. It spares me a trip to Verdant Lantern to settle accounts."
A faint sneer curved Ethan’s lips.
"Let Solara accompany you. I will inform Royal Beast Sect to send reinforcements."
"No. I am sufficient."
"You will dispatch people tomorrow to Noble Sun City to clean the battlefield and collect the corpses of Pavilion of Heavenly Secrets."
"Senior Brother Ethan, be careful."
Liana’s trust in him was absolute.
"After resolving Noble Sun City, will you return?"
"I will head to White North ice field. Do not worry. I shall return once matters conclude."
"Then take care."
"Leave sect affairs to me."
"Junior Sister, you have worked hard. Next time I return, I will take you traveling."
"I will wait for Senior Brother."
Ethan turned and walked out.
"Follow me."
"Okay."
Solara’s eyes lit with excitement as she hurried after him.
