God-Tier Fishing System-Chapter 680
Because the flames that had just penetrated their bodies suddenly melted away. The terrifying firepower spread violently within their meridians and flesh, swelling without restraint, on the verge of detonation.
Three breaths later.
A series of dull explosions burst across the night sky.
Bang bang bang!
Like firecrackers igniting one after another, each blast gave birth to a bloody firework in the darkness.
Ethan lowered his palm slowly and looked at Lucas in the distance.
He did not need to speak. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
The succession of explosions was the clearest answer.
After forcibly expelling the flames from his body, Lucas lowered his head and surveyed the battlefield.
In a few breaths, most of his forces had been annihilated.
His face darkened instantly. His fists tightened. The gaze he fixed upon Ethan became vicious and cold.
"Ethan, what method did you use?"
"Pavilion Master Lucas, you do not even recognize the origin of a Strange Fire. That truly disappoints me." Ethan shook his head lightly.
"Original Spiritual Fire. Even so, it is impossible to erase hundreds of powerful cultivators in a single instant. During your disappearance, did you obtain some supreme inheritance technique?"
Lucas stared at Ethan as if he wanted to crush him with his eyes alone.
"So what if I did. So what if I did not."
"I have already said. Tonight, you will remain in Noble Sun City."
Ethan’s tone was calm, indifferent, yet filled with killing intent.
The bloody fireworks had already faded.
What had been a one-sided massacre moments ago was reversed by Ethan’s arrival.
The cultivators of the Blood Tavern and Myriad Treasures Pavilion did not even fully understand what had occurred.
But one fact was undeniable.
The sudden annihilation of the enemy was Ethan’s doing.
Everyone knew Ethan was the backbone of the Azure Origin Dao Sect Alliance.
Peerless combat strength. Monstrous talent. Numerous terrifying trump cards, including artifacts.
His timely return allowed everyone to breathe once more.
They had survived this night.
And now, it was time for reckoning.
Lana walked to Rain’s side. The two exchanged a glance, relief washing over their faces.
Both looked up toward Ethan.
"In just one year, Brother Ethan’s strength has grown to such a terrifying degree."
"If this continues, will he not step into the legendary Emperor Realm?"
Rain’s eyes flickered with an unusual light.
"With Ethan’s talent, reaching the Emperor Realm is likely only a matter of time."
"Why. My dear sister looks troubled."
"Are you beginning to worry that you are no longer worthy of him?" Lana said softly with a faint smile.
"Sister, you dare speak of me. Do you not share the same concern?" Rain snorted lightly.
"There are things in life that must come. And things that cannot be forced."
Lana gazed upward and shook her head slowly.
Who could not admire a man like Ethan?
Rain let out a quiet sigh.
Then Lana’s eyes shifted toward the woman in black standing near Ethan.
"Have you noticed her? Her aura is powerful and unfathomable. She appears stronger than even the Tavern Master. She is also a peerless beauty. She arrived with Ethan."
"If you think you can surpass her, perhaps you may contend for a position," Lana said bluntly.
"I dislike frivolity. I do not care." Rain lifted her chin stubbornly.
"Very impressive. Just do not cry to me next time you drink. If you get drunk again, I will not carry you home. I will throw you into the river instead." Lana smiled faintly.
...
In the night sky, Lucas sneered after hearing Ethan’s declaration.
"What a joke."
"Hahaha. The last person who spoke so arrogantly is already a corpse."
"Their names should be familiar to Pavilion Master Lucas."
"Thousand Faces and Celeste. Do those names ring a bell?" Ethan said calmly.
"Celeste?"
"What did you do to Celeste?" Lucas demanded.
"What. Pavilion Master Lucas gathered so many allies and forced my appearance at all costs. Yet you do not know what became of Thousand Faces and Celeste?" Ethan’s smile remained serene.
"You truly killed them."
Old Man Xalor stepped forward at last. His voice was hoarse and low. A faint flicker of fire flashed within his eyes.
He was clearly suppressing his fury with great effort.
"It is said that within the Pavilion of Heavenly Secrets, someone can divine the secrets of heaven. If I am correct, you must be Old Man Xalor."
"I wonder. Has the Pavilion Master performed a divination for me. What fate awaits me?" Ethan asked with open mockery.
"...Celeste. My sister."
Lucas’ fists trembled violently. His breathing grew heavy. Veins bulged across his forehead. His eyes turned bloodshot.
The soul jades of Thousand Faces and Celeste had long shattered.
Yet he had refused to accept the truth.
Now Ethan himself had spoken their names.
There was no room left for doubt.
They had truly perished by his hand.
"Ethan!"
Lucas roared.
"You killed my closest kin. Today, I will have you buried with her!"
His hair whipped wildly. Divine power surged around him, waves of terrifying fluctuation rippling outward.
Asher spoke quickly.
"Ethan, be cautious. There are many of them. All Ultimate Supremes."
"Brother Asher, do not worry. Leave them to me."
"You and the others descend and rest."
Ethan stood calm and composed. His eyes narrowed slightly. His hair moved in the rising wind. Violent air currents crashed against him, yet he remained unmoved.
Asher and the others nodded and descended from the sky.
Now, in the vast night, only Ethan faced the five Ultimate Supremes of the Pavilion of Heavenly Secrets, along with dozens of Upper Supremes.
All other enemies had either exploded or lost combat capability.
"Everyone."
Lucas’ voice turned cold.
"Although Ethan possesses monstrous combat strength, facing five against one is pure fantasy."
"Do not hold back. Go all out and end this swiftly."
"When he falls, the artifacts in his possession and all his precious cultivation resources will be divided equally among us."
"You have witnessed his talent and strength. If he escapes tonight, you can imagine the consequences."
Lucas’ warning echoed heavily across the battlefield.
