God-Tier Fishing System-Chapter 683
After speaking, Ethan extended his palm.
Jade bottles appeared one after another, hovering before everyone.
Each was filled with high-grade elixirs suitable for cultivation, healing, and recovery.
In addition, Ethan handed several bottles of green lemon tea to them as well.
"My name is Victor, the owner of the Blood Tavern. They call me the Blood Sword Supreme, yet before you that title is empty. Today, if not for you, we old men would have perished here."
"I owe you my life. If Brother Ethan requires anything, speak it. I will do everything in my power."
Victor cupped his hands sincerely.
"What is the Tavern Master saying? We are all of the Blood Tavern. Prosperity and ruin are shared. Your words are too serious." Ethan replied with a faint smile.
The situation was no longer what it once was.
Though Ethan remained at the peak of Upper Supreme, his combat strength already matched that of a Perfect Supreme. He had stepped into the ranks of true powerhouses.
Even a veteran such as the Tavern Master now treated him with courtesy and respect, without the slightest arrogance.
"You may say so, but as Tavern Master I know clearly who carried the burden tonight. You have saved the brothers of the tavern from disaster. The Blood Tavern always rewards according to merit."
"Today, I will give you something."
As Victor finished speaking, a red streak of light fell before Ethan.
"What is this?"
"This is the Blood Jade Order. Whoever holds it possesses authority equal to mine. All branches of the Blood Tavern across the continent will answer to you. The collections of ancient tomes and all heavenly materials and earthly treasures within the taverns are likewise at your disposal."
Ethan heard this and did not decline.
He accepted it calmly.
"Many thanks, Tavern Master. I accept the Blood Jade Order."
"Now that the high-level forces of the Pavilion of Heavenly Secrets have been annihilated, the reconstruction of Noble Sun City will depend on you. These storage rings seized earlier shall serve as development resources for the Blood Tavern, Myriad Treasures Pavilion, and the Holy Land of Endless Mountains."
Ethan waved his hand.
Dozens of storage rings separated into three groups and floated before Victor and the others.
The leaders of the three factions did not speak further.
They accepted the spoils silently.
"Seniors, I have urgent matters and must depart for the White North Icefield. I take my leave."
Ethan cupped his hands.
"Brother Ethan!"
Rain reached out instinctively.
"Sister Rain?"
"It has been a long time since we met. Will you not stay for a drink? Rest one night and set off tomorrow?" Rain asked softly.
"The matter is pressing. I cannot delay even a moment."
"Sister Rain, when I return, I will accompany you until you are drunk."
With those words, Ethan transformed into a streak of cyan light and vanished into the night sky.
"Hmph. Men are deceitful. They always say they will drink with you later."
Rain pursed her lips and muttered to herself.
Lunara watched Ethan depart.
She bowed toward the gathered elders and immediately followed him.
Since arriving in Netherfall City, Ethan had seemed transformed. His actions were decisive and relentless. There was no hesitation.
It was evident that someone or something in the White North Icefield was extremely important to him.
At that thought, Lunara shook her head and accelerated.
"Lord... Master."
It was her first time addressing someone thus. The word felt unfamiliar on her tongue.
"Do not force it. Just call me by my name."
"Then I will call you Mr. Ethan." Lunara replied gently.
"Very well."
Ethan answered briefly and continued northward at high speed.
Wind roared past his ears. His hair danced wildly in the current.
Three days later.
Ethan and Lunara descended from the sky and landed atop a mountain peak.
For three days and nights, they had not rested.
They traveled at full speed without pause and finally reached the border of the White North Icefield by evening.
They looked northward.
The land was wrapped in silver. Endless white stretched to the horizon.
Snow-covered mountains rose like a colossal roof between heaven and earth, extending from west to east.
"There is a city ahead. We will rest there tonight and wait for Vex to join us." Ethan said calmly.
"Understood."
Lunara nodded.
The two flew toward the snow-covered city ahead.
They arrived at the city gate.
Two long queues extended before the entrance.
Ethan and Lunara joined the line.
Heavy snow drifted down continuously, blanketing the vast city in white.
At intervals along the towering walls stood guards with powerful auras.
Their cultivation ranged from Body Integration Realm to Tribulation Transcendence Realm.
In ordinary sects, such strength would qualify as elite disciples.
Yet here, they served merely as city guards.
This alone revealed the foundation of this snow city.
Naturally, it still could not compare to Blue-Wave City in the northwest of the Demon Territory.
Blue-Wave City was a major stronghold. More than half of the demon clans and sect forces were stationed there.
Ethan and Lunara were unfamiliar with the White North.
They possessed no detailed map of the region.
Before proceeding further, they needed to familiarize themselves with the surroundings and gather information related to the ancient clans.
While waiting, Ethan opened his system panel.
A holographic map appeared before him.
The city’s name was marked clearly.
Flying Snow City.
Only the path he had traveled and the surrounding area of Flying Snow City were illuminated.
All other regions remained covered in fog.
"Alicia, when will the map’s fog fully disperse?"
[Sir only needs to complete one more diamond-level fishing mission. Alicia will then upgrade to the final version. All functions will unlock, including detailed maps of the entire continent and clear regional divisions of major forces.]
"So one more diamond-level fishing mission is required."
Ethan pondered silently.
It would not be simple.
The previous diamond-level mission had been completed in a perilous location such as the Training Trial Secret Realm.
Who knew when another platinum-level or higher fishing location would appear.
Or when the next high-level mission would be released.
Ethan closed the holographic panel.
The projection resembling a game interface vanished quietly before him.
