Chapter 79: Chapter 79

She was instantly jolted. "Isn’t... isn’t this Princess Moon’s Profound Ice Blue Moon Hairpin? How is it on my head?!"

"Heavens... Saint Lord, what exactly happened while I was unconscious?!"

Alex smiled faintly. "What happened isn’t important."

"What is important is that now, all these resources and powers belong entirely to you."

"You must focus your mind on comprehending them and cultivate diligently. Do not let so many good things go to waste."

Joanna nodded heavily. "Saint Lord, rest assured! I will definitely exert my utmost effort and work far harder than before!"

"I will absolutely never let down the resources bestowed by the Saint Lord, nor the Saint Lord’s trust!"

Alex chuckled. "Good, good!"

"I am very much looking forward to the day you become a true pillar of the Hale family."

Immediately after, Alex did not return directly to the holy land. Instead, he changed direction halfway, heading toward the Void Domain Cave Heaven that Aurelia had just compensated him with.

The Void Domain Cave Heaven was a small island stretching over eight hundred miles, situated upon the Great Azure River.

The very instant her feet stepped onto the island, Joanna felt a wave of overflowing, incredibly dense spiritual energy.

"Such strong power!" Joanna said excitedly.

"Every mountain, every river, every blade of grass, and every tree on this island feels as if it exists specifically to help people cultivate!"

"Saint Lord, you secretly opened up such an incredible place, yet you never mentioned it to us? You hid this far too deeply!"

Alex shook his head and smiled faintly. "This place was not opened by me."

"Rather, it is a cultivation blessed land single-handedly built by the Heavenly Flame Empress."

"What?" Joanna froze slightly.

Then she suddenly felt waves of chilling, biting cold coming from behind her. She turned her head to see over a dozen majestic, towering stone statues standing impressively in the river waters surrounding the island.

The statues were engraved with ancient sacred patterns and positioned according to the alignment of the Big Dipper.

An ancient formation radiating astonishing, terrifying power.

"Saint Lord, what... what exactly is this..." Joanna was startled by the oppressive weight and couldn’t help but step back timidly.

Alex stood with his arms crossed. Face full of high spirits. He laughed heartily.

"Joanna, there is no need to be afraid."

"This Void Domain Cave Heaven, and this Heavenly Flame Iron Man Formation..."

"...From this day forward, they are all the property of our Hale family!"

Wearing a spirited smile and brimming with confidence, Alex walked toward the depths of the island with his hands clasped behind his back.

Joanna’s face was full of adoration. Like a little fangirl, she skipped joyfully by Alex’s side. Everything on this island felt incredibly novel and fresh to her.

"Wow, is this the legendary Three-Phase Qi-Replenishing Flower?"

"Just consuming a single petal can nourish vital energy and greatly aid cultivation!"

"Usually, it’s incredibly rare to encounter even a single stalk."

"I didn’t expect there to be an entire sea of them here!"

"This is truly eye-opening..."

As they walked, Joanna let out another shocked exclamation.

"Eh, is that the legendary Withered Blossom Deer?"

"The world says the Withered Blossom Deer is a treasure from head to toe! Its hide can forge armor impervious to water and fire, its blood can nourish spiritual energy, and its antlers can balance Yin and Yang!"

"With so many of them, if we could hunt a few, we’d strike it rich!" 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

Joanna acted like a country bumpkin entering the big city. Following behind Alex, she looked left and right, continuously crying out in amazement.

Alex, however, appeared incredibly aloof. Constantly walking ahead with an expressionless face.

As if his goal was incredibly firm, and he couldn’t even be bothered to spare a single glance at the other random resources.

The Void Domain Cave Heaven, as a cultivation blessed land painstakingly opened by Aurelia, naturally occupied a heavily emphasized portion of the original novel’s plot.

In the original work, after Knox obtained the Innate Poison Cloud, Aurelia sent him here for secluded cultivation to master the Innate Poison King Saint Body.

Not only did Knox break through another major realm and step into the Nascent Soul Realm, but driven by the eruption of his Protagonist Halo, he also obtained two heaven-shocking, unexpected harvests.

As they walked, Joanna suddenly exclaimed from behind him again.

"Eh, what a beautiful flower!"

"Saint Lord, what kind of flower is this?"

Alex snapped back to reality and fixed his gaze on it. A profoundly meaningful smile curled at the corners of his mouth.

"This is an extraordinary flower."

The flower Joanna pointed at was a rose growing on the rock wall, displaying dual colors of red and purple. Not only was its color gorgeously radiant, but it was also enveloped in dense spiritual mist, harboring abundant vitality.

Alex stroked his chin, sizing it up with deep interest, before laughing joyfully.

"This is the one!"

"This?" Joanna asked, bewildered. "Saint Lord, is this flower some sort of incredible treasure?"

"It is incredible, but it is not a treasure." Alex explained with a faint smile.

"To be precise, this is not a flower."

"Rather, it is a flower demon."

When he spoke those words, Alex’s gaze suddenly became icy and sharp. A white orb of spiritual energy condensed in his palm.

With a wave of his hand, he hurled it toward the rose.

"Myriad Spirit Detonation, obliterate!"

The orb emitted a terrifyingly formidable destructive force. Instantly blasting the solid rock wall into fine powder. Kicking up thick, dense smoke.

Before the smoke could even clear, a vine covered in vicious barbs lashed out fiercely like a venomous snake.

Anticipating this, Alex grabbed Joanna with one hand and leaped up, dodging the strike. Stepping on a floating cloud, he hovered in mid-air. Looking down imperiously at the scene below.

From within the smoke, a shrill, mournful female voice echoed.

"Husband... Husband..."

"Why do you bear the aura of my husband?"

"You are not my husband!"
