God-Tier System: Kill Beasts, Cultivate Forever-Chapter 35: Vice Principal
Chapter 35 - Vice Principal
"I'm not giving this technique to you. If you don't leave in the next 10 seconds, I'll make you leave," Harry threatened, annoyed by the young bastard's tantrums.
[Quest: Acquire the 'Iron Body Technique' and defeat your opponent.
Rewards: 10,000 EXP.]
"Okay, tell me, which family do you belong to?" Jake continued, afraid to fight Harry. Since he couldn't gauge Harry's level, he tried to threaten him.
"I belong to my family," Harry replied, and punched Jake, now having one more reason to kick his ass.
The system has given him a quest to acquire exp without killing the beast; what should he assume? Is this young bastard hard to kill, or is he not enough for the system to provide better rewards?
"Let's see" words came out of Harry's mouth.
Jake used a movement technique and, with a stomp, changed his direction.
"See, I will eliminate your whole family if you dare to attack one more time," Jake threatened. He didn't want to fight after seeing the power behind Harry's punch but didn't want to leave the technique either.
It was suggested by his family elder and was the most suitable technique for him.
Harry turned to see Jake, who was still standing within a 5-meter radius.
Having enough of it Harry launched a soul pulse. He was a newbie at this technique, but it could be helpful to distract Jake.
When Jake saw the soul energy, he was startled. His first reaction was to dodge it and amplify any defence he has against soul attacks, He dodged it by diving to the right.
Harry had already guessed it when Jake stood up, and a punch landed on his face.
However, Jake had made a Qi barrier around his face, so he didn't receive severe damage, but blood still came out of his nose; most likely, it broke.
Both of them hadn't had much combat experience,e so their Instinct took over them.
Jake grabbed Harry and started fighting like street dogs. There were no techniques used any longer, just Harry using his soul attacks and Jake defending against them.
They weren't using weapons because weapon usage outside the challenge rings was not allowed.
Several fights were going on to acquire techniques. All the students were divided into many different groups and enjoyed the fights.
Seeing their boss beaten up, Jake's lackeys tried to interfere but were also beaten by Liam, Tyler, and Blake.
Gracie was just enjoying the fight, trying to control her laughter because Harry and Jake were no longer fighting like cultivators but more like street fighters, the only difference being their speed and strength.
Aiden was observing Harry closely. He wanted to confirm if he was right about Harry or not.
He already confirmed that Harry had high Qi compared to other soul cultivators but couldn't confirm if he could cultivate Qi.
After around 2-3 minutes, Harry landed a punch on Jake. With this punch, Jake went unconscious. Harry picked him up and threw him outside the 5-meter radius, then collected the technique.
Some students took Jake to medical attendance.

"Oh, he has won against a rank holder; he must be strong," a student said to another.
"No, he is not strong, but he is definitely dumb. He beat a young master of the Edward family. I think he doesn't want to live anymore," another said.
"Definitely, they won't let him go. Although they can't kill him inside the academy, breaking his legs by challenging him is not a big deal"
[Congratulations, you have received 10,000 EXP.]
[15,400/25,600 EXP.]
Harry also had some minor injuries, so he and his friends returned to their rooms after selecting their techniques. Gracie was also there.
"You fought very well," she said while laughing.
Harry understood what she meant. "What could I do? If I had maintained distance and left the 5-meter area, he would have copied the technique and made a run for it," he tried to reason.
"Okay, okay. You just need some training. We can train together."
Someone knocked on their door. When they opened the door, Aiden was standing outside holding some fruits in hands.
Aiden made his way in without any formalities.
"Ahhh...ha, my friend, how does it feel to get beaten up?" Aiden joked.
"It's not my first time," Harry chuckled, feeling a little uncomfortable after their last one-sided conversation.
"You know, sometimes letting things go can help you in the long run. Now all the disciples related to the Edward family are looking for you," Aiden laughed.
"I thought it's not allowed to fight outside the challenge rings?" Harry asked.
"Rules... Rules, you know how rules can be broken. But don't worry, they won't take a chance to fight outside the rings.
But...but..there's another rule, you have to fight at least once in the challenge rings in a month, of course only if you have a challenge request," Aiden said while eating the fruits he brought.
"I have read about it. I will manage it," Harry said. He understood why this rule exists. If someone achieved 1st rank and decided to never fight again, this rule binds them to at least have one fight in a month. Although it also has its own loopholes, it's better than nothing.
"Can't I challenge him and complete one month's quota by forfeiting?" Liam pointed out a loophole.
"Do you think we never thought about it? We didn't change the rules because if someone does this again and again, other students will use underhand techniques like beating someone when they are on a quest outside the academy, or worse, backstabbing while fighting with enemies.
You know the saying, 'having 1000 enemies in front of you is better than having one traitor,'" Aiden explained.
Harry was ready to fight. He was looking forward to the EXP he could get by fighting against these people. He only needed around 10,000 more EXP to reach level 9, then he could also increase his body cultivation with its help.
Aiden had eaten all the fruits he brought. Gracie and the others watched him being so shameless.
Why bring them if he doesn't want to give.
Aiden stood up and poured some items out of his spatial ring. They were element formations.
Seeing curious gazes, Aiden explained, "Oh, I thought you would need those to train your Iron Body Technique."
After that, he left the room.
Gracie was curious why the vice principal of the academy was acting so friendly with Harry and his friends.
"I thought you were a no-name outsider, but I am impressed. You have ties with the vice principal," Gracie said, pointing towards the formation scrolls.
"Ahhh...what? Vice Principal!" Tyler exclaimed.
Harry was not surprised by this revelation but couldn't see any reason why Aiden was helping him and trying to be friendly. But then, there could be only one reason; for the Soul Judgement Sword. While thinking about it, several notifications came to his badge.
When Harry read them, there were 13 challenge requests for him.
